Hi,
I've created a widget to see your statistics from Google Analytics. The baseline of my widget is quick & simple ! You can configure the widget with few steps ! I've used the account manager system of Android to made the connection with Google Analytics API, your password is preserved !

Great widget! This is something I've been looking for.
I don't know if analytics APIs allow but it would be awesome to also see yesterday's visitor numbers maybe as a smaller number on side or something.

is the whole data encrypted with google ?? im asking because there was a problem sometime ago about the authToken uncrypted data transfer for some google apps.

The security issue was discover for Calendar, Picasa and Contacts not for the Account Manager. Furthermore, all API call by the widget works over HTTPS, so I think you don't have to be worried.

The widget is refreshed each two hours automatically only if the phone is wake up. So, don't worried about your battery life.

Hi, Brilliant idea... However, I have no more space for widgets, and have a few analytic accounts. Is it possible to make this into an app, with a widget feature? So I could open the app, and then take a look at my statistics, and then close the app, when I want. If not, thats fine, I will have to live with the widget feature.

- page views per visit
- bounce rate
- average time on site
- percent of new visits

Maybe you have got some troubles with the widget since mid-july... the version of the api that we used has been shutdown :'(
Since yesterday, you can see an update of the application on Google Play. The issue is solved, we have switched to a more recent version of Google Analytics API.

It seems that for now it's better to use Analytics Widget play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.nikas.analytics.widget, that's because it can represent your analytics data in chart view as well as simple numbers

I experienced the complete opposite.
So the app is a really good idea, keep working.

Setting favorites and/or history would be great.
Ability to vote too!

History is coming in the next version. I also plan to integrate it with Share menu so that's it easier to use it.

Do you think it would be possible to make the look more like "Holo"? Or at least an inverted colors version so we get a black background?

I will try to improve the interface too.

What's new in this version:
Integrates with Share menu. Send the url straight from the browser.
The title always stays visible when scrolling the login list.
Clicking the title in the login list launches the browser.
Improved appearance a little bit for ICS users.
Minor bug fixes.

I released a new version yesterday which allows to switch between dark and light themes. Please give it a try and let me know how it looks.

New UI with a new version:

BugMeNot was cool years ago. Site owners have been using it to poison the well, so to speak, lately. I think they run a script that checks BugMeNot for accounts, and then removes them or bans them (or bans the IP of anyone who uses them -- I hit that once, wouldn't even let me sign up for an account since I came from the same IP as someone (myself) who tried to use the BugMeNot account). Somebody needs to reboot the service with a way to prevent the same thing from happening. Otherwise it's better to just make a throwaway account.

There are still many sites where bugmenot accounts work.

I haven't checked on this in a little while but thanks for that! I like it much better with the black background.

The app is not actually made for checking if you have a cool vanity number ("1-888-PIZZA"), but that's one way of using it
I created the app as a help for finding meaningful names to a given number, making it easier to memorize numbers.
I'll never forget the security code to my car stereo anymore. It's "cake" - (2253)
If you'd like to check it out, or perhaps see if you or your friends have a fun phone number, you can check it out at play store - NameMyNumber.
Hope you give it a try, and hopefully have some fun :fingers-crossed:
Please also remember that you can select different languages for your results. (Settings button)

I actually thought about searching through the contact list. It's just that I'm affraid people would be very sceptic if the app needed access to contact info...
What are your thoughts on that? Would you be OK with it?

Well, thats why you can select a given word, and then again get a new search result. Limiting the new search result based on your previous selection. A sort of "drill down" into the results.
That way you may be able to get 2 or 3 words out of your number.
Numbers containing 0 and 1 in the middle part of the number, tends to provide less good result. Since there are no characters for 0 and 1 on the dial pad.
Did you try to combining one word with others?

From my point of view, it depends on what the app does.
- If I expect an app to make lookups in the contacts. then I'd have no problem with it.
If I don't see why an app would need it, then I agree with you.

Perhaps I'll add a "share via" function that enables the user to send a contact to NameMyNumber.
Any thoughts?

Sure, why not. Although it would be easier for the user to pick from a list within the app...
By the way, I showed the app to my younger brother. The app became quite the laugh amongst his friends at school. They where competing on having the best number

No worries , I should perhaps had an "Tip" splash screen of some sort, informing the user that the results can be selected. I'm sure that if you didn't get it the first time, there are lots of others in the same situation.

It was a real bummer to hear about Inbox shutting down.
I was (and still am) a heavy user of the 'Save to inbox' feature. I simply like all my action items to be in one place. This way I don't have to juggle between apps and I know exactly what I need to do.
I looked around for a decent alternative but didn't find any, so, I've decided to develop one myself.

Yes, and the initial attempt was the only hiccup. I like it and its good but my issue or thought is, if it was able to be shared to the app itself would be a great value, for people like me that forgets, or have plenty email accounts that get innodated with incoming correspondence, we can open the app and see it there. Just a thought though.

Naw not looking for pocket. I don't need to explore. if there is something that I'm reading online (or would want to read later) I would like to share to inboxit itself. No exploring, podcast or all the other battery draining, time-stealing features. lol

Chrome Functionality
I agree that it is a shame that Inbox is being shuttered. I have quickly gotten used to using Gmail again and missed this functionality. I have implemented the Gmail labels feature and it is working great. Are you planning on adding a chrome extension version?

@SagiLo thanks for this app. I've bought it!
But I think there's a bug:
I enabled Gmail labels and they work great, allowing me to send links directly to a Saved label.
However, if I open the the app again after it had been closed (such as after clearing Recents), the toggle is turned off and I have to re-enable it. If I don't re-enable it, the Gmail label isn't applied.
I think the toggle should persist in the state I set it.
PS: do you want logs?

Introduction
Sometimes I forget how long I haven't met some of my friends. And I don't want to forget that. So I've made «Friends».
«Friends» is a journal-based app. You write about your interactions with friends and app tells you how long you haven't met them. When the magic number of days passes, entries turn from grey white, which should (in my design) encourage you to interact again.

App future and contribution
As I said, «Friends» is my first android app. I want it to help people. And I have little experience in that. So I would be glad to receive help or advice on the next things.
Design
I am using an almost default android theme. It's ok for starters, but I want my app to be nice and beautiful.
Are there any good guides on mobile app design? What colour should I use instead of that bleak green? In-app animations are must, or not?
Features
Have any ideas on that else «Friends» might do to benefit users? Don't hesitate, tell me.
Wording and app name
I wrote most of the in-app text in a hurry. Sometimes better wordings come to my mind and I apply them. If some in-app text doesn't feel right for you, tell me.
Also, the name. I'm still in search of the good one. «In touch»? «Quality time»? «Call your mom»? If you have any ideas, I'm all ears.
Promotion
So far, I've shown «Friends» to my, well, friends and some corners of the runet. But I want more. My friends recommended to write at reddit, medium, dev.to and I'm planning to do so. Heard that there is such a thing as «landing page». Might do that too.
Would love to hear anything on single-handed promotion. What steps you've taken, where to go first and all that.
In search of The User
How do you think, who might benefit from my app?
Some of my polyamorous friends are enjoying it and that's sweet. I think support groups might find it useful, but am not sure. Networkers? Huge family members? Folks who need to check on their clients from time to time?
How can I connect to all these wonderful people? Are there any organizations or campaigns I might get in touch with?

Added a night mode. What do you think about it?
Also changed app icon color from bleak green to the same shade of yellow as used in app. Love the color, but now it doesn't feel connected to day mode of an app.
