[Completed] Are one-click methods "safe"? - XDA Assist

Hi all, I have a noob question. I want to know if I use a one-click root method like Towelroot or Kingroot, will they have "access" to my phone? In other words, will passwords and the like be stolen from me? Is one method better than the other. I tried searching for an answer to this question, but to no avail. Please forgive me if this was already answered somewhere!
Thanks in advance,

[Completed] Rooting Samsung S5

Hi guys I'm new to xda I Just bought it on the playstore. I'm looking to root my phone so I may use certain aps on the playstore that require rooting. I've tried looking around for advise and instructions on how to do it but haven't been able to find anything really useful. if someone could point me in the direction of some threads that could assist me I would greatly appretiate it. as I said I'm looking for a thread with rooting instructions aswell as maybe some as advise threads ie dangers, what aps I should get before I start doing anything, etc. thankyou in advance
Thank you for using XDA Assist. There are many variants to the S5 so we'd have to know which one you have before recommending anything.
sm -g900i is the model number is that what you need?
Yes, that's what we need. Unfortunately there is nothing specific about your device on XDA. To root you could try these, http://www.xda-developers.com/root/ But before doing so make sure you know where to find and use your stock firmware.

[Completed] Please Help!! loooking for sm-g360f lte rooting assistance

I believe I've managed to root my galaxy core prime sm-g360f lte with kingo root, but don't know what to do now!
I'm trying to remove bloatware on my device and find/install some custom themes, but cant find out how online. I've found a lot of info talking about roms? and many warnings of compatibility? I'm simply lost with all this and don't really know what any of it means? I'm In need of some guidance!
Thanks in advance for anyone who decides to help a noob lost in the 'root' woods
