[Completed] [Q] PLEASE HELP IMEI null and SIM not recognized, nothing works

Hello,
My phone: GSMART Roma R2 (Rooted)
I know there are a lot of threads how to restore IMEI but none of them worked when I dial up *#06#, it shows message with two lines containing "null".
I was using MIUI rom for a while and suddenly after I rebooted phone SIM was no longer recognized (before reboot I was playing with SWAP couldn't make it work so I uninstalled BusyBox (could that cause the issue?))
I already tried:
Engineering Mode: Displays "AT command is failed to send"
Terminal Emulator: Doesn't work
MAUI 3G: Flashing new IMEI changed nothing.
MTK Droid Tool - Changing IMEI did nothing.
SN Writer: Writing new IMEI changed nothing BUT when I choosed to read IMEI it successfully displayed both IMEI in the textbox. (So it looks like the IMEI actually is registered on the phone but phone doesn't seem to use it)
Manually writing MP0B_001 to NVRAM: Nothing changed.
I have used backup in CWM recovery to stock ROM, didn't work, then I did factory reset, didn't work, flashed back the stock recovery and installed update from Gigabyte site, didn't work. So basicly now my phone has stock rom, stock recovery, factory reseted and is rooted.

[Completed] [Q] Bricked device( i suppose)

Hi All ,
I have a xolo q1010i which was running on few custom roms previously before I managed to get the flash stock rom from (brieftutorials.com/how-to-unbrick-xolo-q1010i-by-installing-stock-rom/[/url])
Now I used the SP flash tool to unbrick it and install the stock rom, it worked fine until i found that the IMEI was lost.
Still i managed to insert imei using uncle tools and everything was fine.
this is where the problem starts:
I got an update OTA for KitKat and once I updated it the phone was stuck in a loop
So i connected sp flash tool and ran the 4.2.2 stock rom, but suddenly half way I got an error messasge and that was the end.
I have a black screen device on which nothing works, no logo , no charging light, no power + volume up, no power+volume up+down etc .
Not even lights,
Windows says an unidentified device detected and SP flash tool does'nt work.
Have no clue what to do , Is this the end ? or do I have to try the USB Jig / send it for Jtag repair ?
All comments & Ideas appreciated.

I managed to resurrect my mobile, I tried Jtag to bypass the preloader by researching a lot ( thanks to my all posts china mobile website) then used SP tools to flash the stock rom ( thanks to Kalaishere XDA )
Finally its working on Jellybean.
I will soon update it and also fix the tiny issue with no imei number

Engineering mode problem in my Lenovo A3000-H

Hi, I recently flashed CM11 on my A3000H and everything was great. Thanks to Olivier. But then, I erased my IMEI number in that process. I have the number and I want to write it to my tablet, but I am not able to access the engineering mode; MobileUncle Tools just goes back to the previous screen, and the MTK Engineering mode app gives me a "Cannot find Engineering Mode app" message. I am not even able to add a google account on my tablet. Please help me as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

Lenovo A5000 MTK6582 Device is stubborn

HI XDA,
i got my lenovo a5000 its good but ihave problem now. i updated my phone then it turns out in "no command" on the screen with android lying their with tranngle and exlamation i have presed mutiple button but all in vain.
second i am not able to flash any cutom recovery,there is not a single solution regarding this phone that how to root as all rooting softwares i.e kingoroot,onclick.iroot,farmroot,not a singe one is helpfull for this phone i have bricked this phone numbers of times but all in vain .XDA Please look into it is this phone has an insecure kernal???I also have tried to mtk driod tools for rooting but nothing,readback operation also helpless as revocery not copied when i process it in mtk driod tool.
i really really need your guidance or help.plz keep sharing you guys are doing a great work.

As far as custom recovery, you can create CWM easily on your own for MTK device if proper drivers are installed in computer..

i am getting this error when i select stock boot.img it ask create cwm i select yes after that i got this msg on rigt pane in mtk driod tools.

I've flashed my mmx unite 2 A106 using SP flash tool to revert back to stock rom kitkat from miui 7. Now NO SIM detected, Showing UNKNOWN BASEBAND, UNKNOWN IMEI, I've tried various method available in Net to fix..
In mmx care they asked to replace mother board...
Pls anyone help me to resolve this...

It is not much big issue for now i would advice you to rewrite iemi and baseband
to your A106 there is no need for motherboard change i will give you links for fixes
if you have a custom recovery installed...

This is not a big problem See the below post :
In this method you don’t need any PC you can do this just in your phone by following steps:
1. Download the Mobile Uncle Tool from Play Store
2. Open it and grant superuser permission(it will ask automatically)
3. Open Engineering Mode and then Tap on Engineering Mode(MTK)
4. Select Connectivity then CDS Information >Radio Information
5. You will get Options – Phone 1 and Phone 2
6. Select “Phone 1” then you will get screen as shown in screenshot 6
7. Select AT+EGMR=1,7,”your imei”(write your IMEI for sim1 in double quotes)
8. Then press button “SEND AT COMMAND” and Reboot your phone
9. Similarly, for second IMEI select “Phone 2” then you will get screen as shown in screenshot 9
10. Select AT+EGMR=1,10,”your imei”(write your IMEI for sim2 in double quotes)
11. Then press button “SEND AT COMMAND” and Reboot your phone
Now your both sim will work properly?
