I don't understand...Is your phone rooted now or not? I'm also using V20D SEA firmware but had no luck with rooting. Did you try to install supersu from play store?

Did you use PC or Android app version of those programs? I have just tried Kingroot apk but it failed in rooting my GP2 20A SEA firmware...
Sent from my LG-D838

first with pc version of iroot , root your device and then install the latest android version of kingroot for binary update..

Did you try to replace Kingroot with SuperSu app? There is an instruction manual on the internet for how to do that...I will try your suggestion to see is my phone rootable with iRoot.

i tried that instruction..but my phone stuck on lg logo..

I really don't know what to do because all other solutions fail. Is iRoot trustworthy? There are not so many user comments on the internet about it so I must think first before I act...
But thank you for all your help!

iroot works fine for me and the procedure is easy.. just one click.. every other ways related to LG phones does not work..at least for me..

I have been trying to do so, but I can't get to any ones I know with a pc. I wish mine still worked. I was just reading about mobile odin but its k7nda confused my it said to use device must have root access. I thought it was an apk to root my device.
rooted now but issue not resolved. ..
Well I was finally able to barrow a laptop, so im rooted now.
But the issue of a rooting apk is not resolved. There really needs to be a rooting apk. Aren't tabs ment to be a computer replacement. Well eventually. ?.. So I thats why issue of a rooting apk is not resolved.
What could be done to request an apk be made or better yet were can I find tutorials to give it ago?

Ahhhh, Kingo Root. I've tried Kingo Root, IOroot, Towel Root, FramaRoot and some crappy Chinese rooting program which restarted my phone several times which I terminated the progress. I guess it must take some time before a one click program comes out.

Maybe you can try a method working on other LG phones... A G2 user having the same problem seems to gain root access using this.

Root D850 Marshmallow?

Hai I flashed Turbo ROM and for some reason I don't have root... I have SuperSU but it says there's no su binary installed... Also I can't get into TWRP, because it hangs on the TWRP logo screen and doesn't get passed that. How can I root my device so I can fix my recovery, or the other way around? Thanks
go to play store and download supersu app. restart the phone. this will get you root. then install twrp app from google and reinstall it through app. i think this will help you get into recoery.

I already tried that :c. I ended up using the TOT method to restore 10D and worked my way through rooting it and putting a recovery on it. c: Now that the D850 has an official 6.0 update, I expect we'll see Marshmellow roots for our device c:

KingRoot gives you temporary root on stock D850 Marshmallow.
When you reboot/restart, you lose root and it takes about 3 minutes or so, using the KingRoot android app, to regain root.
The apps requiring root that I've tried have all worked without issue.
Whether you want KingRoot installed on your phone is another issue.
I haven't come across a better solution for getting root on stock D850 Marshmallow yet.

I just used the latest android app from: https://kingroot.net
http://king.myapp.com/myapp/kdown/i..._B263_office_release_2016_05_09_105203(1).apk
From the about section of the KingRoot app on my LGG3:
"KingRoot V4.9.2 143
Kernel Version v4.8.0 67 / Su version v3.61"
If KingRoot does work you could look at this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=darkslide.com.supersumepro app to remove KingRoot and install SuperSU. I have not used the app I just saw someone on Reddit report that it worked for them.

eDIT1: well, it's stuck on Processing, please wait... (should I leave it for an hour to see what happens?)
Edit2: My dumbass forgot to root w/ KingRoot first...sigh, will report back in a few..
Edit3: I don't get this..it removed kingRoot app and now I no longer have root..wtf? If I wanted King Root app uninstalled I could've just uninstalled it myself..
Edit4; Ok ..maybe I'm traveling through Dorkville right now... trying this all over agin with SuperSu in da mix..
Edit5: well, I have a brick now.. ;(

This is correct. Be careful though. Many users want to uninstall Kingroot and switch out kingusr with superuser app. Doing this may result in soft brick.

This is a old thread. Anyway you cannot root MM. You have to downgrade to root.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Actually u can use kingroot to root ur marshmallow phone. although root access is gone if u uninstall the kingroot app. Basically u get root access through kingroot. all other apps gain access through it.

i am finding a way to root lg g flex 2 mm

I found that king root can root lg g4 on mm just from the phone and its working so if we install total comander and Install Astro onto lg g flex 2 and Run total Commander and navigate to downloads Hold your Finger down on the on the Kingroot apk file and hit open with when the screen list pops up Select the Astro app.(App Info) Then Install the app at the bottom and follow the rest of the KingRoot instructions i think should work on mm with new apk
But whats the difference between directly installing kingroot apk and installing it through astro?
Because I have already tried kingroot and kingoroot on MM and I can tell you it doesn't work.
I would like to try but I won't flash MM again for nothing so can you try and see if ut works or anybody else already running MM?

[Completed] I'm trying to root the LG Pad F7.0 (lglk430) with kingroot but it's not working.

I'm trying to get this thing rooted but it seems to not be working. The tablet is on 5.0.1 and I have the latest version of kingroot which I believe is also 5.0.1. It gets to 100% and says it's rooted but when I try to use supersu it says the binaries aren't there or something like that. Root checker is also saying I dont have root access.
Can someone please help me?

Greetings and welcome to assist. According to this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/support-list-kingroot-lg-t3112336
your device is supported. I believe there is a newer version of kingroot though so I would try that
Good Luck
Sawdoctor
There isnt a newer version. 5.0.1 is what kingroot.net gave me.
It finishes rooting and says I'm rooted on kingroot kingroot and then when I open SuperSU is says the binaries aren't there or something like that. My software version is the lglk430zv4. I really need to get this rooted :/
