Nope, T-Mobile is a GSM carried and Verizon is CDMA. This phone is only built with a GSM radio.

Doesn't it use AWS? That means technically you could put it on carriers like Cricket and Metro PCS then right?
Nope. Get a droid charge

AWS?
It can be used on any GSM carrier from what I know. I mean, I'm on AT&T.
What do you mean nope? Why
Couldn't you just change the settings to metro pcs or cricket like you can with the evo?

Evo is cdma no sim card galaxy s 4g is gsm with sim card required for use on the network.

Really? I sure as hell didnt know my phone was GSM. You seem to be missing the question completely.
Unless you have a world band phone that has cdma bands plus gsm bands it wont work Verizon blackberries have cdma+gsm some did should i say. Hince why you could go overseas and roam off vodaphone phone also had sim card.
but to answer the queston no
samsung glaxy s gsm no cdma not even compatable with 4g lte
as far as cricket and metro pcs they dont use sim cards so no way to activate the phone on the network.
What is wcdma? My phone says gsm/wcdma

On the moon our weekend are so advanced they encompass the entire week
simply put its not going to hapen end of story... unless verizon goes gsm... doubtfull
Verizon won't go GSM. If they did, it'd be pretty stupid anyway. CDMA implementations seem to be better than GSM.
WCDMA is a worldwide band for connectivity, I believe.

Wireless N wifi?

Can the nexus use N wifi? Only says b/g on the box :/
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk
Yes, but data rate is only 65 Mbps.
No, it can't. I have a dual band wireless router outputting both G and N signals, my Nexus S can only pick up the G signal.

That is because you are talking about using N on the 5ghz band. You can also run N on the 2.4ghz frequency. The NS4G will only use the 2.4ghz frequency for wifi.

It can. Check http://www.google.com/nexus/#/tech-specs

3G on T-Mobile?

Is there a way to get 3G to work on T - Mobile like the Note 1? That would be great to be able to swap out my T- Mobile sim card and make phone calls.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Unfortunately no. The note 10.1 lacks t-mobile's 1700 band for 3g. The fastest speed you will get is 2g (edge).
Thanks for getting back to me.

S3 verizon to tmobile ?

Any way to make my s3 w/verizon work on tmobile or vice versa? No full unlocks?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
I believe you have to switch it to global, but because it doesn't have tmobiles 1700 band, you will be restricted to edge speeds.

[Q] What GSM/HSPA frequencies are supported?

I'll be switching to T-Mobile soon and wanted to use my SCH-I535 as a stopgap until the LG G3 comes out.
What GSM or hspa frequencies are supported?

Read post #3. That's about the most technical info that I recall about specific GSM radios.
That's the best info I've seen. It also confirms my experience on DTAC on the Verizon GS3 in Thailand. They use 1800 GSM & 850/2100 HSPA.
I guess I'll be rough'n it until I find my next phone.

That's great! I've wanted to use my S3 for the next time I travel abroad but I haven't found my way away from the states yet in over a year. Glad I could help out a bit.
