Can the nexus use N wifi? Only says b/g on the box :/
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk
Yes, but data rate is only 65 Mbps.
No, it can't. I have a dual band wireless router outputting both G and N signals, my Nexus S can only pick up the G signal.

That is because you are talking about using N on the 5ghz band. You can also run N on the 2.4ghz frequency. The NS4G will only use the 2.4ghz frequency for wifi.

I live in Connecticut and we dont have LTE yet. I notice that whenever I get a low signal, mostly one bar, I see the LTE icon. Im getting 15-30Mb download when I do speed test. Now when I get a full bar signal my speed goes down between 3-5.

So i was just watching some reviews on phones and i heard one of the people say that the device he was talking about gets LTE 4g speed then he mumbled thats HSDPA+ for you who didnt know. and i remember seeing on gingerbread when your first upgraded to it you get a welcome screen mentioning that our device has HSDPA+
so will i be able to get on EE (a uk network for 4g speeds) and get the speeds of 4g?
No answer?

I'll try giving you an answer...ca you get you get ADSL speed on a 52 kbs modem? If the device hasn't build in LTE module you won't be able to get such speed. And as far as I know O3D hasn't this module.

I am currently awaiting the arrival of the nexus 5 to replace my iphone 5 but i canot find out if it has DC-HSDPA. my network does not have LTE yet but it does have DC and i think the nexus 4 had DC. my iphone also has DC so this is a feature I do not want to lose.
Thanks for the help.

Hey does anyone have any experience with this phone on AT&T or any prepaid versions of AT&T asking for a friend thanks in advance
I have been using it on AIO wireless with AT&T apns to help with data speed. Not a single problem to report and I get 3G+ everywhere.

Are you able to use the WiFi hotspot on straight talk? If so, did you have to root?

Texas speeds with H+ on AT&T are never fair to the rest of the country haha. It's amazing how well it can compare to LTE here. Routinely get that and often times 16-17
Lol yea that's great thing bout living in Texas att and Verizon coverage is amazing. To bad sprint and T-Mobile are horrible in texas

Anybody have a screenshot of a T-Mobile wideband LTE speedtest with at least 4 bars?
Wondering what this phone is capable of for wideband LTE.
