I've been browsing the net and Google but I haven't found an answer for this question: Are there any roms for the Galaxy Trend 2? (sm-g313hn) I've seen CWM in some threads but that's kinda useless without roms I guess. So, are there any? Something like Cyanogenmod will really do the job!
Or will the roms on a other Galaxy Trend model work?

hello settler11 why don't you try a custom firmware instead of custom roms ?

Hello guys.
I'm new to this forum, and to Android phones and rooting and all that stuff.
I might have posted the wrong, if so, i'm sorry, and i hope a MOD will close it or move it.
but to the point, I've bought a Samsung Galaxy S I9000, and i have just now rooted it, and then i wanted to install on of your good looking themes, but i read that have to install a JM5-JM7 ROM... and i was like
so i wonder now how do i install theese ROMS and is there any ROMS there's better than others?

I searched the forum and didn't get the dual Boot feature for the Galaxy note .
We need to run two roms for one custom and one stock rom on galaxy note.
If there is any way please let me know as I am new to porting the software.

Please publish the links if you have regarding how to port different mobile OS to Galaxy Note.
AFAIK there are only a few phones currently capable of dual-boot, such as the Meizu MX, but most phones, including our Note, are not capable. I think it would require a custom bootloader and such to allow for booting into a second OS.
However, you can run something like Ubuntu, and there are some links in the Note forum if this is what you are looking for.

I have one too and I can't believe there is no development for this thing. If there is no dev for it soon, the next new thing will bump it off the AT&T shelf and all we'll have is a rooted stock Tab 2 or the opportunity to buy something else.
Im sorry but there is seriously only one dev for any SGHXXX device. And he only supports the 7" one. Sorry guys. Besides, why not get a Nexus 7 or wait for the new Nexus 7.7?

How did you get yours rooted? I have tried a number of different ways and never could get it rooted. I have searched XDA for it as well but no luck.

i found a great ROM for this tablet its a 4.1.2 ROM but i can get a lot of the features from the newer Roms you just can install a rooted app and install them i can get the link to the ROM if anyone would like. its a stock ROM but its amazing

I'm also looking for any usable rom apart from stock. I have an sph-p500 which is technically the same as sgh-i497 but found no roms at all. any help appreciated. all rom links are broken. I know the device is pretty old but I don't want to shred it.

Better to switch device. On the s6 edge forum they are working on a cm port somewhat but it will probably never be as good as on a snapdragon device
No chance on Cyanonmod for atleast a year. And when it comes, it is far from stable.

Start developing! I'm happy with my S6. Wrong place for this as well
A simple Google search would have alerted you to the fact that anything AOSP based on the new Exynos is pretty much a fairly tale. Samsung hasn't released any sources, and they likely aren't going to. I got the S6 just for something new. I will however pass this on to my wife once the new Nexi are released.

Why not pickup Development and do for yourself, since this is a Development Site, you might learn something...
But first learn the Forum Rules, as this does not belong in the Development Sections to begin with...
