Guys I really regret that I have rooted my S6 there is no roms at all, there is some deo touchwiz roms and am rocking one, but there is no Cyanogenmod or MIUI, what is the problem, does any buddy know anyone working on a port at least.

Better to switch device. On the s6 edge forum they are working on a cm port somewhat but it will probably never be as good as on a snapdragon device
No chance on Cyanonmod for atleast a year. And when it comes, it is far from stable.
Sell your device and get a another

Start developing! I'm happy with my S6. Wrong place for this as well
A simple Google search would have alerted you to the fact that anything AOSP based on the new Exynos is pretty much a fairly tale. Samsung hasn't released any sources, and they likely aren't going to. I got the S6 just for something new. I will however pass this on to my wife once the new Nexi are released.

Why not pickup Development and do for yourself, since this is a Development Site, you might learn something...
But first learn the Forum Rules, as this does not belong in the Development Sections to begin with...

If anyone knows of or is in production of a custom ROM please let me know. I have mine rooted with CWM, so if you need any stock files let me know and Ivan send them over! I would love to have something for this make. I see there are plenty of option for the pxxxx or gtxxx models. But nothing for the SGHxxx variants.

I have one too and I can't believe there is no development for this thing. If there is no dev for it soon, the next new thing will bump it off the AT&T shelf and all we'll have is a rooted stock Tab 2 or the opportunity to buy something else.
Im sorry but there is seriously only one dev for any SGHXXX device. And he only supports the 7" one. Sorry guys. Besides, why not get a Nexus 7 or wait for the new Nexus 7.7?

How did you get yours rooted? I have tried a number of different ways and never could get it rooted. I have searched XDA for it as well but no luck.

i found a great ROM for this tablet its a 4.1.2 ROM but i can get a lot of the features from the newer Roms you just can install a rooted app and install them i can get the link to the ROM if anyone would like. its a stock ROM but its amazing

I'm also looking for any usable rom apart from stock. I have an sph-p500 which is technically the same as sgh-i497 but found no roms at all. any help appreciated. all rom links are broken. I know the device is pretty old but I don't want to shred it.

Since I got my N8013 in February or March, it's been on the stock rom and rooted. I went back to stock/rooted on my S3 as well, because I wanted them to have similar roms. In the past I've used CM, AOKP, and several other AOSP roms on my S3, and I'd like to try one on my N8013. Can anyone recommend an AOSP rom that is supported for both the N8013 and the Verizon S3?

I want a Rom with a feature that automatically wakes up the device when the cover is flipped or double tap to wake, the flip to wake feature was present in crdroid kit Kat for tab 2
OnePlus One is a great phone with amazing specs. I want to port a touchwiz ROM (based on the latest S6 Touchwiz 5.1.1) but I am unable to do so. Can someone suggest a guide for porting Lollipop ROMs? I tried googling but found no guides about lollipop (there were many guides mentioning kitkat but not lollipop) so I decided to ask the xda-community.
This isn't the right place to ask this question mate.. And most important.. With all due respect to you why would you want to use something as freaky as touchwiz on a epic device like one..??
Next it's practically impossible to run touchwiz on our device.. There are no sources with respect to Samsung touchwiz etc.. M saying this with my limited knowledge as a Samsung user for 5 odd years and a developer of sorts for s3 and note 2... still good luck..

MIUI 7 is indeed an awsome rom, I used it for a long time, the only problem is the Google play services fc other than that it is a perfect rom.

Yeah, if you see the other miui thread for n900, i mentioned that my pc broke and cannot help. So apparently i'm going PC-less for a while, and it broke deeper than expected and need to buy new one.
BUT, if i need new pc= money. And i don't have sufficient amount to buy 1 (going to buy the high specd one, make things easier :laugh: ) So i have to work part-time to get it
BUT, part-time needs time, which i don't have since final test comes in a couple of months, which will decide if i will get my highschool diploma :victory: (yeah, i'm that young) and that's why i said that it will come out half, of end of April.
Also, the other miui rom will be ready soon, so yeah. Hopefully my version will be better :laugh:
So that's pretty much it. Hope this explains it
