I usually check once a week to see if the My Verizon app has been updated, but I cannot find it... I am on Ginger Remix so maybe I can't see it because of that? Can someone with froyo check?

I am completely stock and havent been able to find it for several days. I am guessing it has been updated in the market as not being available for the Thunderbolt since it did not work on our phone anyway.

The salient question is why would Verizon block owners of their flagship phone (okay, maybe the Droid Charge is that now, with the "Droid" branding") from the app at all, let alone for so long. Damn phone's been on the market for 10 weeks now and still no TB-compatible MyVerizon app. Very weird.

Uhm no... Usage is just as easily accessible without the app. The same number of steps as if you are checking on WiFi. From what I have read it works on the other 4G devices but the bolt. If they are doing what you are saying then they should not have theirs working either.

Wow, I've never seen that done before! Thats what he's been waiting over three years to do for his first post?
So I have a few friends with this phone and now I have it they always complained about this. Now I'm having the same issue. Never had it with my amaze. But sometimes people don't get my texts. Or yesterday I missed several important texts from people. They told me later they had texted me I never received them. Do we have any fix for this? I was stock, currently running energy rom sense 4.0 android 4.0.3

I have the same issue and I am running stock on t-mobile's network. A solution would be helpful :fingers-crossed:.
Yeah doing some searching says an app called ghostly text or something like that will help...I've installed it, but no idea if it has helped or not yet.

Its called ghostly sms, I used it on HTC desire z and it works great! Sickening to hear HTC are still letting this bug happen! :banghead: try a non sense ROM and see if that changes things

So I read the app description seems like what I have been looking for. But will this also work for sent texts, because I was told by some people I had texted that they never received my replies? But until now thanks :good:
See, and there's always a chance there's a problem on their end receiving too. It's quite confusing the variables with two phones involved. I honestly won't know if the app works until I am told I missed a text, or one arrives at ghostly and not my main. Neither have happened thus far! I'll let you know if it does =)

So I installed it but every text message I get also appears on ghostly sms does that happen to you too? It is really annoying and I know I'm not missing each text lol.
Yeah that's what's supposed to happen by my understanding that way, if one doesn't go to messaging app but does go to ghostly it means you would have missed it otherwise

Well I guess it will just take some getting used to seeing 2 icons pop up. I updated my phone to 4.0.4 but I highly doubt they fixed this problem :/.
I just ported over from my AT&T build...I can't test since I'm not on verizon so I was wondering if anyone was interested in testing....

Its just a different variant that offers a toolbox for customization such as no am pm, clock centered, change colors of battery clock, ect...no icon labels...

Man, you MIUI crowd are a sensitive bunch. As someone said above, what is wrong with more options? Do you think they are completely the same? Like every other ROM with the same base? NO!! The OP even mentioned his extras.
If I was this dev, I'd have already pulled my link and told y'all to shove it. He (and every other dev) does this for you.
Be grateful someone is dropping another option. I can't count the threads I've seen lately about "development drying up" "when's the next ROM dropping?" -- silly ish like that. Well, here you go...

base is one thing...functionality and differences built in is something else. hence why i asked what was "different"
i dont see anyone being rude or anything of the sort..if anything someone made a great suggestion by asking the op to link up with the devs of what we already have to incorp the toolbox or possibly build something greater.
@ wolfe...am i missing something? or are you all looking too deep into the posts.

Everthing is ported over from my ATT Miui Port...I used Verizon CM10 2.12.16 build as base. The RIL has been changed to reflect VERIZON and the build.prop and updater script all reflect Verizon. I added some of what I believe to be important Verizon APKs from the CM10 base..

Its weird i have my imei i have my eri but my number is not programmed and when i restored my backup it was on global i chamged to lte/ cdma and nothing. I factory rest and still no number. Just shows roaming triangle i did not touch anything in the network settings when i booted your rom. I booted it played around didnt even sign into anything really

Its the real deal. It just wouldn't log in using the account I use on my iPad. Worked like a charm when I signed up for a new account. Guess accounts are white listed. There is an update though. If you can please update and re upload.
It's definitely not a virus lol... But after playing a few rounds, i seem to either be playing against SUPER stupid people or bots... Im assuming the later... I don't have access to the newer betas as of now. If I get it, I'll post it or if someone else has access, they can share it.

Everything is working fine, except that in spite of logging with Facebook, I still can't see any friends. Anyone could help me out or is there any workaround?

Working here as well. I can see 2 of my friends, not sure it's only the ones who are using the Android(beta) , but sure guessing it is, cause i know alot of iFone-friends got the app.
It seems like the progress from my iOS devices don't sync over.. Shame
Anyone got the update ? Please upload it. Mine is terribly slow. No friends and I always play against bots. There's a lot of topics missing too. From the way the beta is. The official app is going to be very late.

The lates beta is i believe 1.12 , i hope someone leaks it, cause as said, the 0.84 is pretty horrible and playing against bots honestly is boring, im on the waiting list for the beta, i hope i'll get in soon.

Just had a freeze in the first turn of a game. After I answered the bar went up but didn't go to the next round. Also I can't see any of my friends that have quizup on iPhone but I assume that that is on purpose/known.
Error can't connect to quizup, I assume it's down, anyone experiencing the same?
edit: back up and working. Haven't experienced any bugs yet.

Anyone having issues with the latest version of Tapatalk on thier N5. I can only get it to open to my prescribed forums im following maybe one or twice a day? Im hoping its not just me. Stock rom and kernel rooted.

Tested on stock 4.4.2 and Purity ROM on Nexus 7.
XDA Free, XDA Premium, Tapatalk and Tapatalk PRO all have trouble connecting to the forum for me as of a couple of days ago. I thought I was the only one. But it seems to work better on data than WiFi. You can get the forum to load of you keep refreshing the app. Unfortunately, we will have to use our PCs until then.. I'm lucky I was able to connect now.

So im not the only one. I have no idea whats going on. Now even with a refresh I can connect. Keep getting message "cannot connect get ahold of forum admin" Im at a loss as to what to do. Its a shame I cant follow my favorites.

I get failed to connect to forum please contact forum administrator along those lines. It seems to be getting slightly better but it still bad. If I keep refreshing a lot I can load the pages.. But it sucks because I know it's not on our side, almost certainly with XDA. I changed my IP just in case by spoofing my Mac on my router but still nothing. Other forums work well. It's unfortunately a big problem that only a handful of us are experiencing. Waiting game til someone hears our cries for help I suppose.

Yep it sucks. Just got my new N5 and now I cant follow my stuff. So
i tried an experiment and tried my wifes GS4 and same results. Wierd huh. I hope someone sees our plight soon.
It's a real pita. For a few days now it's very difficult to get a connection. Hope someone sees this because I don't know who the forum administrator is who we're supposed to contact.

Yep, BTW finally got my phone unlocked, rooted, and have stayed on stock rom and kernel. Its really nice. Dont really see a need for a custom kernel or rom right now. Installed exposed and gravity box and now have every custom feature I need

Thank you good sir. Didn't know that was there even after looking I'll admit. So it seems like a lot of other people are having the same problem. It definitely makes dealing with something easier when you're not the only one and saves from having to troubleshoot.
Edit : can confirm its something between XDA and our ISPs.
The problem I described happens on Xfinity Comcast Internet.
However, the problem does not occur at all on LTE T-Mobile.
