XDA Free, XDA Premium, Tapatalk and Tapatalk PRO all have trouble connecting to the forum for me as of a couple of days ago. I thought I was the only one. But it seems to work better on data than WiFi. You can get the forum to load of you keep refreshing the app. Unfortunately, we will have to use our PCs until then.. I get failed to connect to forum please contact forum administrator along those lines. It seems to be getting slightly better but it still bad. If I keep refreshing a lot I can load the pages.. But it sucks because I know it's not on our side, almost certainly with XDA. I changed my IP just in case by spoofing my Mac on my router but still nothing. Other forums work well. It's unfortunately a big problem that only a handful of us are experiencing. Waiting game til someone hears our cries for help I suppose.

Thank you good sir. Didn't know that was there even after looking I'll admit. So it seems like a lot of other people are having the same problem. It definitely makes dealing with something easier when you're not the only one and saves from having to troubleshoot.
Edit : can confirm its something between XDA and our ISPs.
The problem I described happens on Xfinity Comcast Internet.
However, the problem does not occur at all on LTE T-Mobile.

The salient question is why would Verizon block owners of their flagship phone (okay, maybe the Droid Charge is that now, with the "Droid" branding") from the app at all, let alone for so long. Damn phone's been on the market for 10 weeks now and still no TB-compatible MyVerizon app. Very weird.
Look here at Post #6. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14277108
The release is a verizon apk, however they have not released it because they do not want LTE users usage to be changed by having their current usage easily accessible. It will help them price out the tiered plans that we are getting this summer.

Uhm no... Usage is just as easily accessible without the app. The same number of steps as if you are checking on WiFi. From what I have read it works on the other 4G devices but the bolt. If they are doing what you are saying then they should not have theirs working either.

Wow, I've never seen that done before! Thats what he's been waiting over three years to do for his first post?
So Tapatalk 4 is out and Im on the fence about it. .99c is a killer deal however when I took a look at the reviews it was really mixed. A lot of people say it isnt loading forums/topics quickly. However it still has a 4.3 star overall rating. I did purchase the app and tried it for a few minutes to discover similar issues. (Im running the beta / 3rd version now). It did look a lot different then the beta though. Has anyone else tried it? What are your thoughts? Do you feel its slower than the beta?
I just bought it myself and truthfully I don't see much difference than the public release version.. :S not having the problems others are on the reviews but I'm on WiFi :<

Working here as well. I can see 2 of my friends, not sure it's only the ones who are using the Android(beta) , but sure guessing it is, cause i know alot of iFone-friends got the app.

Anyone got the update ? Please upload it. Mine is terribly slow. No friends and I always play against bots. There's a lot of topics missing too. From the way the beta is. The official app is going to be very late.

Take a deep breath, backup everything important, hit the factory reset option and let the magic begin(hopefully)
I've clean flashed the factory image since it was available and have no ram/lag/stutter issues whatsoever.
Good luck

what version of google play services are you on? 6.1 or 6.5? A reboot will temporariliy fix your issues for at least a day or two. not too bad of a stop gap solution until there's a permanent fix from google. in the meantime be patient.

So what you're saying is unless you're a developer, you don't belong here? And if you have a simple question about android go ask it elsewhere because this is where serious developers work and only serious development questions should be asked here.

Do it somewhere else, such as Facebook or an android support forum. We're already putting up with non development related questions. We shouldn't have to put up with waste-of-space vent threads too. Happier, yes. But my point was if you want help, ask. If you vent then expect help when you don't phrase a specific question, you're lucky to get any. That is all.
