Despite this model's age, too early man, too early.
JUST few months ago the source code for this phone has just released. So we have to wait a kernel update first then we proceed to even KitKat.

Wait 14 october for the answer
We will find out. Something tells me that samsung will pretty much stop supporting our device soon since it's getting kind of old. But who knows. I'm confident that CM will hook us up thought as previously stated.
Via Cyanogen, yes. But as the previous poster said, our device is starting to get old :/

Wifi seems to be disabled faster
What's the Wifi issue?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using xda app-developers app
got two updates tonight one of 28mb and one of 25mb
I also received two OTAs one right after the other on my UK SIM free N9005, in the UK.
I'm also interested in knowing what the wifi issue actually was because I didn't experience any issues.

Back to back on my N9005. Phone feels faster when scrolling on TouchWiz, battery lasts much longer I've managed to get 12 Hours heavy usage and I've not even done a full charge yet! Really happy with Samsung, they are taking the Note 3 seriously.

Ok so how do you get these updates if you're running a custom rom, rooted, etc.?

The Xperia L comes with an internal of 8 GB, and the device memory takes a toll of around 1.5 to 2 GB, and the rest gets added up into the internal memory as a sum of 4.01 GB. in KitKat, the whole thing about the internal memory is missing. The one Bug which Bugs everyone. Is there no way of getting a hold of this with some other app to read the memory?
Infact, the memory in Kitkat ROMs is present under storage/emulated/
We should find a way to fix it..

I think these are 2 new firmwares coming. It says JB so probably no KK yet. Also I heard that they release sources before the firmwares. Hoping for our very own 4.2.2

It will be rooted the same way like 4.4, and you will can upgrade the same way like you did with 4.4.1, 4.4.2, 4.4.3 and 4.4.4. Is it magic or something?
Developer preview available later today...
