he refers to the 4.1.x update that has been appearing since december in some countries but in others still not

So op it does not matters.....just flash any firmware of 4.1.2 version of any country for which it has been currently released .....

Note 3 Firmware Upgrade

I have just received a OTA firmware upgrade. It is about 30M big and it states stability improvements!

Which country are you m8 and what model? you noticed any change in version or something after the update?

Yep got it also on UK unlocked btu
Wonder if they have sorted out reboot issue ?
Nice to have an update but can't see any difference as my handset is perfect and quick (apart from the initial reboot issue which I've not had since disabling gmail and wiping my memory card)

Update running !

The update arrived in Greece also! (N9005 models)
Any idea what it contains and which issues aims to improve?

T210R new firmware 4.1.2 for october

i just happen to notice that there is a new firmware in sammobile. for t210R cellular south (october). it is on sammobile.com. has anyone tried this? any issues or improvement?

Downloading now...will deodex and root and post when complete. Usually takes a while to download from that site.

That's what I did after a couple other failed attempts. Deodexed and testing now.
EDIT: Can't seem to get anything to flash correctly today. Gonna take a little longer than I hoped.

Having some trouble getting permissions set correctly and correct symlinks set up. Some things are different than the last release. Got it booting, but wifi doesn't work yet unless it's flashed through Odin.
EDIT: Finally got it...uploading now. Will be an update to my other stock deodexed thread.

Does the new firmware update from Samsung gets rid of Google Talk permanently and replace it with Hangout hence not been able to use Google Talk?

Looks that way, yes. There is now a Hangouts app in system/app, not a Talk app.

I have just received an upgrade notification here Oz. Has anyone tried this? I hate that it will not tell me the build no before I install. I've had so may problems with updates lately I am very paranoid.

Have not accepted it yet, but I think I will. I think the CSC will be N9005OLBENA3, mine now is N9005ZKEXME, I think. all these different numbers and different names for the same things make me confused!

Build from NA6 to NB4.
Security software from Release 1 to Release 2
Baseband from NA2 to NB1
I'm looking for some improvement in the signal strength as this was lousy after the last update. Not very hopeful, however.

I usually get about 2 days out of mine (roughly)... maybe its just my use case ? :-/
As uh60james mentioned... if your using a custom watch face, go back to stock to see if that solves the battery issue.

Nobody knows when it will be released.
