It will be rooted the same way like 4.4, and you will can upgrade the same way like you did with 4.4.1, 4.4.2, 4.4.3 and 4.4.4. Is it magic or something?

Developer preview available later today...

Lock them both. We don't need 6 months of useless speculation.

Question after 4.4.2 update

So I was on 4.4 rooted and went back to an unrooted state. I then sideloaded 4.4.1 and then 4.4.2 when it was released. My question is, can 4.4.2 be rooted the same way 4.4 was?
Thanks in advance.

Awesome, thank you!
now to find the toolkit that I previously used..

Pacman ROM.

Quick question, I have successfully built pacman and was wondering if I could release it in the wild just for those that want to get their hands on it? I haven't already because I didn't want to step on any toes, especially those of Devs I idolize so much.

Good going. Like to see new devs. Do you have permission from the original devs? That would be the place to start.
Should I ask in the Pacman boards for permission? I wasn't quite sure how to go about that. When I saw PAC wasn't available for the Nexus I kind of lost my mind and had it built the next day lol

No, you cannot release any builds until nightlies start. There was a message at the end of the build that says the same thing. Nightlies should start soon though, so you can release your builds after that. All builds right now are for private use only.
Or perhaps upload your work for the pac team and ask them to be the official builder for the nexus 5 version?

Sorry I started my build right before bed one night and by the time I woke up my wife had closed terminal so I never saw the message. If I had I promise I would have never asked. Sorry again and I'll definitely keep the build to myself.

Nopes!
But It will take long time, possibly months for some new updates to be released by Google!
Hang on with xposed and customize your nexus

AT&T visual voicemail 2.7.1.57 3/19/14?

I have an older version side loaded but can't update the app in the play store because I have a Nexus 5. Does anyone have the new .apk that was released to the play store on 3/19/14? The new version is 2.7.1.57.
Much appreciated!
Never mind as I used an .apk extractor and was successful. For anyone that wants it I have attached the file.
thanks!

Thanks! I didn't realize that earlier I was only searching Nexus 5 threads and not "All". Thought it was odd no one had it. Thanks for the reference link. I'll double check my searching next time.

Thank you! I did a search all last night for "2.7.2.1" and it seemed to just pull up a bunch of roms but thanks for your assistance! :good:
Updated APK from the recent July 2nd ATT Visual Voicemail Update. Pulled the APK from my wife's Moto X. Installed perfectly on my N5. Enjoy!
Edit: Version 2.8.2.21 (forgot to mention that.)
I wonder if this would work on other carriers?

Probably won't. When opening the app it dials the ATT voicemail to begin the setup process.
Dam. That sucks. To bad it can't be modified to dial a different number.

If anyone needs the latest APK of the visual voicemail app I've pulled it and started a new thread with it and previous versions. Can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/app-att-visual-voicemail-version-t2872614

1. Wrong section
2. The dev stopped working on it
sorry for mistake . I thought it' s the right section as Touch control is an application.

You are right, it's a app but , Quest answer section would be a better place but lethargy gave you the answer, touch control app is no longer under developing, you can use a kernel with S2w support.

You could try Bricked kernel (AOSP & stock roms, I believe) or Chaos (CM11), both work well in my opinion.
