Hi, i am wonder why ICS 4.0.4 (for samsung galaxy s2) is so late come to Malaysia version for upgrade. Do you know our country is very high demand on firmware upgrade. Next time please always give Malaysia a high priority to upgrade ok. Appreciate. Everybody is using ICS on samsung galaxy s2, **** that Malaysia always the last.
You seem to have confused Xda for Samsung. Xda has limited connection to Samsung and barely any influence on Samsung in Malaysia. So posting here about Samsung Malaysia with your rant is useless.

I see, thanks with your feedback anyway. I always reporting to samsung they just treat us as transparent. This make us true said. Malaysia is really high demand on technology upgrade, we not expect to see thing already out but still not arrive our country all the time. This is really not good
Damn , until today we (Malaysia) only get 2.3.6 and stop there , this is truely not fair at all . Anyone can help to raise this issue for Samsung, i donno which channel i should go to report this.

I cannot understand what the hell is happening to my Galaxy III. I bought it about 3 months ago and there is no problem until now.
Two days ago, suddenly the phone became frozen. I turned it off and could not start up again.
I almost got crazy with this issue.
This phone I bought from my friend, who brought it to me from USA. Quite new, in box ! Of course !
Now no where in my country accept to do A/S for this phone. And I am afraid that I have to spend much money to repair this new phone and it can be scratched during fixing.
Actually, I also do not know where I can have it fixed.
Getting around on the internet, I came here to ask for your advices, Galaxy III experts. Please help me !
I knew that someone already experienced this issue with Galaxy II, and it was so bad that he just could sell that dead phone with very cheap price.
I really regret not buying an HTC One X when I saw it. That time I was very confused between choosing a cheaper one (HTC) and the more fashionable one (Galaxy III). But my ****ing friend persuaded me to buy Galaxy III from his shop in USA. And now, that ****ing guy disappeared. I cannot contact him. Is it possible he cheated me with something fake ?
Can you explain what happens when you try to turn on your phone? Does the screen come on? Bootscreen?
I read an article about gs3 dying randomly, and samsung replacing even rooted ones no questions asked when this happens. Maybe this something else?

one year before i have faced service issues or can say major service issues.
i was having motorola atrix 2 something goes wrong in it.
i went to nearby service center ,they said phone have software issue and mic was not working they take one and half month to correct it and when i saw my phone scratches were there.
is the service same or improved.

We really need a separate forum for this device so that owners can discuss it in one place as opposed to under the normal Optimus G forums.

I agree that there should be a dedicated LG Optimus G Pro forum. The LG AT&T Optimus G forum is starting to become cluttered with mixed threads which make it difficult to keep the device discussion on topic.

How is it that other phones get a dedication section before the phones are even released yet this one is coming up on a week of being out and nothing? Not even a mention of it on the front page.

I think they don't make forum it intentionally so to not make a competition for GS4
I'm at a loss here as to why we are having to beg just to get a forum for this device. Only thing I can think of is maybe the forum admins don't think there will be enough demand for the service and therefore a waste of time trying to moderate a thread for it? (Just guessing here..)
Please don't punish us because LG & AT&T didn't market this device properly. We already have root on it and I suspect that some of the devs who worked on the OG would at the least be able to port over some goodies for us. (Yes- the root method for the OG works for the OG Pro and it is the simplest root I have ever seen!)

You just dont understand. Its the "Pro" version of an existing phone. And its not hate. Instead of making a thread dissing what is available, you should ask a mod to do what you need, and dont forget mods have lifes. Its about attitude. Any way at&t sucks, lol

No, it is not. You sound like saying "Galaxy Note 2 is just Pro version of an existing phone Galaxy S3" right? Wrong. E980 is totally different phone than E970, everything is different, SoC is different, display is too, design, camera, radio, wifi & BT diffierent, IR blaster
Ffs keep it on topic. The Optimus G pro guys are cluttering Optimus G fora, so please make them their own section.

My name is Paul and I'm new to this forum and I'm a complete newbie in terms of Android Modifications. I'm a T-Mobile Customer in Cincinnati, OH USA. I've recently had an LG G Flex. With that being said, I've downgraded my phone to an LG G2 in order to save some money. I miss some features of the G Flex like the split window. I've joined this forum to help me make the most of my G2 although it's on the verge of being 2 years old.
