As Korean, I've heard a lot of informations about the LG's new phone, Optimus G.
The people are talking about it as a great rival of Samsung Galaxy Note II as it is backed by LG group itself
Maybe you could heard of the bundle earbud, which is noticed by the quality of sound.(Knew the phone by the bundle package :silly
The hardware spec of it can be seen by August, but wonder why it isn't here, the large smartphone community.

We in the Optimus G section wait to new AT&T Optimus G Pro E980 forum to be opened. See this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2273275 plz pay your attention.
And one minor advice, make a one big section named AT&T G Pro with minor subsections for other alternatives like F240, soon to be released E985 and coming new F220K. It's bad and deluding to have this http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1921 and then this http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1928 and then on the top of it this http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1838 It deludes ppl and make it difficult to share opinions, answer common questions and look for ROMs

People who will not buy it: teenage women, older parents whose kids told them to get the" Galaxy phone."
People who will: anyone who can understand that companies do learn from mistakes, people who can look at specs and realize that there is no competition in this price point.

New forum for AT&T LG Optimus G Pro (LG E980)
We really need a separate forum for this device so that owners can discuss it in one place as opposed to under the normal Optimus G forums.
It's a fantastic device and deserves at least a little bit of love. :good:

I agree that there should be a dedicated LG Optimus G Pro forum. The LG AT&T Optimus G forum is starting to become cluttered with mixed threads which make it difficult to keep the device discussion on topic.

How is it that other phones get a dedication section before the phones are even released yet this one is coming up on a week of being out and nothing? Not even a mention of it on the front page.

I think they don't make forum it intentionally so to not make a competition for GS4
I'm at a loss here as to why we are having to beg just to get a forum for this device. Only thing I can think of is maybe the forum admins don't think there will be enough demand for the service and therefore a waste of time trying to moderate a thread for it? (Just guessing here..)
Please don't punish us because LG & AT&T didn't market this device properly. We already have root on it and I suspect that some of the devs who worked on the OG would at the least be able to port over some goodies for us. (Yes- the root method for the OG works for the OG Pro and it is the simplest root I have ever seen!)

You just dont understand. Its the "Pro" version of an existing phone. And its not hate. Instead of making a thread dissing what is available, you should ask a mod to do what you need, and dont forget mods have lifes. Its about attitude. Any way at&t sucks, lol

No, it is not. You sound like saying "Galaxy Note 2 is just Pro version of an existing phone Galaxy S3" right? Wrong. E980 is totally different phone than E970, everything is different, SoC is different, display is too, design, camera, radio, wifi & BT diffierent, IR blaster
Ffs keep it on topic. The Optimus G pro guys are cluttering Optimus G fora, so please make them their own section.

The only reply i everytime got was donot reply mail and your request have been forwded to concerned department
Was thinking to buy 2 lg g4 but dont wana go for a company whose presale service is such bad

I really want to see my phone to be in the phone list here, it's been released before the Samsung S6 Edge(I know it's a really more popular phone than mine).
My phone is the LG G4 Vigor.
There is nothing here about this phone as well as the LG G4 Beat, Lg G4 S, LG G4 compact(C).

Not all devices can get a section on XDA. That would be a massive undertaking. Admin selects devices for sections based on several factors. Popularity, signs of development, member requests.... Etc. There is a general G4 section here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4
And if the Vigor is not discussed there, you would need to ask questions here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help

My girlfriend's LG G2 broke, which was her first ever android phone (converted her from iPhone, woot!). That being said, she's on the market to buy a new phone. She's quite fond of the LG G2 (G3, etc), as she's used to how they function (she's not that techy), so she's interested in staying with that line of phones.
She was thinking of just grabbing another G2, I suggested she grab a G3, and I wanted to know if there was another hot Android phone we can get, unlocked, for $200-$300 that would be a better use of the money. Thanks for any suggestions!
