[APP][XPOSED][Touchwiz] Wanam Xposed | Tweak stock Touchwiz on Note 3!

Hello, everyone! I have seen this mentioned in a few of the posts here in this community but no one had posted it as a thread.
Just wanted to post this here in case you might be interested in tweaking stock Touchwiz without needing a custom recovery (which we do not have yet). I have confirmed a lot of these tweaks work (mostly the theme tab)...some of the tweaks I did not have a use for so I did not test. Please test at your own risk and report back if something does not work for you! Neither Wanam or I are responsible for any issues you may run into...use at your own risk! Have fun!

Yes! Please donate to Wanam! With this module there is zero need for a custom ROM. So amazing!

There should be a button in the top left you have to enable. Once that's enabled it should show up for you.
I have mine rooted but the last time I did this and rebooted (I installed the framework and wanum) it crashed touch wiz upon reboot and I was Sol.
Any instructions on how anyone installed this without the crash?

I installed the framework and rebooted. Then downloaded Wanam thru the Play Store and enabled the module in Xposed and then rebooted. Then I went in and made my changes in Wanam and rebooted again. Lots of rebooting LOL but I had no errors at all.

As long as you reboot after exposed before you install Wanam you can do all the tweaks in Wanam without rebooting of course you do have to reboot before any of them take effect.
Also be careful with some of the tweaks that have to do with actual operation of your phone concerning calls and whatnot I found them to lead to boot loops on this device time to time. As the original poster mention the ones in the "Theme" category are generally safe. Should you messed something up and going to a bootloop just re root you'll be fine.

So i think installing MobileIron and my companies admin settings are conflicting with Wnum and I am again facing a soft reboot. Starts up but immediatley crashes. How do I get to ADB so I can disable wanum?
Anyone have any clue on how to theme the brightness slider?
Can someone check to see if your S Health still works after using Wanam? I'm trying to narrow down the tweak that breaks it.
edit... So it seems that Xposed breaks it for whatever reason.

I can't really list all of them, but I have all of the theme mods done, the hangouts over 3g mod, a couple sound mods, disable increasing, skip tracks, disable the camera and boot, fake system status..... Is there any specific tweak that you want me to check?

Hi there, thanks for the question.
First of all you need the latest wanam xposed:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/ma.wanam.xposed
So after installation just enable it in you xposed framework and then do a full reboot.
As the phone boots then use wanam to your liking, just to be clear after every change you make do a soft reboot.
Hope this helps. Indeed please say thanks.:good:
Using Note 3 SM-N9005, KitKat 4.4.2.
I knew that already.my point is when i change holo dark background with wanam it doesnt do anything.normally you should see your custum image inside your settings app.that doesnt happen with me. Greetz

Does anyone else have issues with the holo dark background setting? If so, whats the problem, color or image or both?
How do you make the notification toggles in the notification pull down white, instead of green?

Sure!
I'm using Nova Launcher Prime with glasklart icon pack. I have set the dpi of the overall phone (editing build.prop) to 400, the weather widget is Accuweather platinum widget (maybe the free version is the same widget I don't know) and finally the ram bar is clean master's widget.

Looking for app to keep other apps from being killed

Hi All,
Most people are looking for apps to kill other apps when they are running - I'm actually looking for the opposite. Phone keeps killing apps to free up some RAM here and there, and some of the apps to not restart themselves. Are there any good apps out there that can be used to monitor specific apps and restart them if they are killed by the system?
Thanks!

Thanks, I'll check it out.
Or Xposed plus the app settings module. You can force apps to stay in memory so they won't be killed.

That's perfect, I already have Xposed and the App Settings module. Thanks a ton! Would this be the "insistent notification" option?
Nope. The resident checkbox is what you want. http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-app-settings-v1-7-1-2013-12-15-t2437377

I'm not sure about Rom Toolbox Lite but the Pro version lets you add apps to the exclude list for task manager so those apps don't get killed.

Thanks, I think I have the pro of that app purchased from a while ago. Will give that one a try as well.

How to fix transparent ui Background's?

Some of the ui backgrounds are transparent in certain apps and I dont know what's causing them. I posted some pictures to show what it looks like. I have exposed modules gravitybox, app settings, swipeback, and greenify installed. I tried disabling gravity box and app settings but the problem is still there. I also have Franco kernel installed but I did see anything posted in the Franco kernel thread. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

[REQ] Xposed ? Change color of Active Display

I've been trying out different ROMs and AcDis apps, but nothing compares to the stock Active Display. One feature I liked of the AcDis-like apps was the ability to change the foreground color. Is it possible to change the stock app's foreground color with an xposed mod or app? Thanks.

I have been messing around with xblast and managed to change some of the colors. Not the clock color but some of the info you get when you press down on a notification in active display. That's a powerful xposed module.
Yeah I would love to be able to change the colors. I'm sure it could be done with xposed but I have no clue how to code. If anyone took this up it would be appreciated!
Might be able to come up with something...
Is there any way to change the active display pulsing time / duration? It's great, but the time difference between the Active display going off and coming back is six seconds for notifications, which is little too much for me.
Thanks for you help, let me know if you need anything from me. I'm on an unlocked Verizon running stock system, faux kernal, and TWRP.

Finally,,change colours of active display is possible or not??
