name is correct. When using mfastboot it gives error about 256 MB or something like this. I downgraded to stock Moto G 2nd Gen XT1068 firmware, then ota update. I tried to root with Kango Root but still not work. Should I downgrade and try to root from KitKat? I can flash the stock recovery, but not a custom one.

Hi all
Non of the zip's im installing seem to work
I have a 16gb Moto G (1st gen) XT1032
Rooted with Busybox
Recovery is TWRP 2.7.1.1
OS - 5.0.1
I've tried to flash
dsp_updated.zip
Lolliviper_2.3.3.0.zip
MoaAb_Adblocking.zip
but cant see any apps installed? What could be wrong?

That is because there is only roughly 156kb free space on system partition with gpe lollipop installed :/ I realised when I tried flash certain system mods
First download and run the Cleaner or remove system apps manually. After that you can install any mods compatible with Lollipop.

Guys , i am a newbie but i have a major problem.
i was in the process of rooting my moto g but wrongly erased my whole operating.
so i looked up a method to restore to stock [ was running 5.0.2 ] but after flashing recovery and boot image, i couldn't flash system.img and i also deleted a line from the xml following a RSD lite guide.
would you guys help me get the phone running .
i do have the lollipop update official zip .
and i can't even switch of my phone

go on youtube type in how to adb sideload a rom on moto g that video will fix your problem well it did for me GoodLuck
Is recovery installed? Are the Moto drivers installed on your pc?
I've been through something similar before and whenever I accidentally wipe the OS, I just connect then flash another rom usually starting from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-stock-motorola-rom-collection-t2854688 and it will pop up under "my computer" where you can copy and try to flash your rom again. I assume it's the same with 5.0+ (I'm still on 4.4)
Which method did you use to flash lollipop?
So i have my Moto G with lollipop 5.0.2, I unlocked the boot loader yesterday and tried to root it via fastboot but I then figured out I could just download KingRoot.
Moto G 2014 xt1064, Lollipop 5.0.2., rooted with KingRoot.
I downloaded the Xposed .apk via my phone from the website. When I try to install Framework it says:
Exposed is (yet) not compatible with the Android Sdk version 21 or the architecture of your processor (armeabi-v7a)

im using moto x 1st gen currently running on Android version 4.4.4 stock rom. my device is rooted and has installed many custom roms. but due to some problems i came back to stock rom. i got the official lollipop update yesterday. i tried installing it but it says signature verification failure and cant install the update. i copied the update to my sd card and tried installing it from recovery mod. failed again. it says

I am using MOTO G version: 221.21.56 falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en.o3 with Andriod 5.1 OS [Build ver: LPB23.13-56].
I am planning to Root my mobile.
I have unlocked the boot loader on my mobile via moto website.
What will be the next step for rooting? I have gone through the web,
Pending Task will be as follows:
1> I need to install custom recovery like TWRP. For Twrp i have checked the website, I don't find exact image for my mobile.
It has image like twrp-xxxx-xt1032.img or twrp-xxxx-titan.img . Which image is suitable for my devices. kindly confirm.
2> Flash super SU.
Will this complete my rooting process? or any other steps need to be performed.? Waiting for your response experts.
