[Please Help]-Nexus 5 Soft brick - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The Problem with my Nexus 5 is that when ever i boot my Nexus 5 up it stays stuck in the Google Logo With the Unlocked Icon on the bottom. Also, whenever i go into bootloader and i go to my Recovery Mode (Using CWR) I cleared my Cache and Dalvik Cache, Reboot and it doesn't Fix it. Since I Have Android SDK and Android Debug Bridge (ADB) on my PC i tried to reinstall Android Lollipop on my Nexus 5 And for some odd reason in the bootloader screen I plugged in my Nexus 5 to my PC, but my PC does not want to Recognize my Nexus 5, and when i run the Flash-all.bat it say's, "< waiting for device >", when i do have my Nexus 5 Plugged in.
If there's anyway you can help my solve this please tell me!
Thank's in advance! :victory:

All the drivers installed? Try a different usb port and a different cable, some cables are charge only.

DUDE, I held my power button for about 15 long-seconds and the device turned on like it wasn't Hard-Bricked O.O? After i had confirmed that my Nexus 5 had no signs of life by going to sprint and showing them my device, i held it's Power button for a Long time as a last resort and it just came back to life?!??! Can ANYONE Explain this, or is my phone a God? Also, my volume down rocker broke after i was pressing it really hard at an attempt to go to Recovery Mode, Then it started working when i showed it to my Bro'. Is my Phone normal?

Not being seen by pc... Kinda? - SOLVED

I've unlocked, rooted and flashed linaro kernel. So my phone does/has been recognised fine by my pc.
But when I plugged it in earlier for mtp mode the phone recognised being plugged in but the pc didn't? If i switched it to camera mode the pc then recognised. But then switching it back and still nothing? Any ideas?

Goto Devices and Printers and see if Nexus 5 is there. Sometimes it has a yellow triangle on it. If so right mouse and troubleshoot.
This happened to me too. This is what I did to fix it. I was on windows 8 btw. I used wugfresh's toolkit to manually install raw drivers. If you do use windows just follow the instructions on steps to install them. You may use Mac or Ubuntu for I know lol. In that case I would search for those tookits. They may have similar method of driver installations. I used the composite driver that came with the toolkit and it worked right after installation. I even unlocked my bootloader in the process too so adb and fastboot worked too. good luck.

Found it, it says mtp with an exclamation mark and no drivers installed?

DL google adb drivers and put them in a folder. Click on the device in device manager and choose install from computer. Select the drivers. That should clear it up.

Alot of times you can right mouse the device and troubleshoot. It will put the drivers back in. Another way is to delete that device and reboot. When you plug your phone into the usb it should load drivers.

Toggle USB Debugging . Worked for me. If we have the community or ADB driver this might be the issue?

Well then? Sorry man it has always worked for me. I'd try rebooting the comp then doing it again. If that doesn't work Ubuntu is free. lol

I'm using the PDA.net drivers included with the Nexus Root Toolkit. The Universal drivers didn't work for me (Windows 7 pro x64bit). I also had to toggle the USB Debugging.

So MTP is no longer in Device Manager?
Nope its vanished and the phone still isn't recognised by the pc. And now if I try a toolkit and tell it to reboot to recovery it says not device found even though the device says it's plugged in with usb debugging enabled

Settings/storage. Choose 3dot menu. Also, have you used USBDeview http://www.tomsguide.com/us/download/USBDeview,0301-13254.html to be sure all Android USB drivers have been removed?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
In case you didn't understand the above.
Settings > Storage then click on the menu (3 dots on upper right screen corner) and USB computer connection. voila, you are now in the USB connection settings and can enable MTP/PTP again.

Bricked Recovery - Challenge for you guys ;)

Hi,
I have a challenge here. I forgot my Pin and wanted to hardware reset it but I can't get into recovery. If I try I sec the lying Android with the red triangle for about 1 second and then its just black and I have to take the battery out.
I tried all possible tools on linux and windows. ADB and fastboot dont recognize it, Drivers are correctly installed. because Windows recognizes it.
Here some Screenshots
1. what windows sees when connected when its on in Pin Screen
2. what it looks like when connected in fastboot mode
3. what the devices and printers page see when its on
Odin doesn't see it. The Unbrickable Tool under Linux does see it but does not work.
I tried everything I could find, so now I post here for more ideas. :good:
Thanks in advance
Lock the bootloader and unlock it again.
It will factory reset your device.

And how should I do that if adb/fastboot recognizes nothing ?
How about trying a different system and installing the drivers again?

I tried on a Ubuntu System, a Debian System, a Windows XP System and a Windows 7 System.
Also I tried at least 3 different driver packages.
And this is not my first experience, I have a Nexus 7 and a Galaxy Phone which are both rooted, custom rom etc.. so I am not total clueless about the topic
Uninstall all drivers COMPLETELY and just install 1 driver. I prefer/suggest PDANet drivers.

[Q] QHSUSB_BULK Nexus 5 brick

Hi guys maybe you can help me!
I was flashing the bootloader of my Nexus 5, and while doing so my laptop decided it would be a great idea to reboot to install a windows update.
Now I am stuck with a dead Nexus 5, it shows as QHSUSB_BULK when connected to the pc, any ideas on how to fix this?
I think I might need to send it to LG, am i right?
Did you try rebooting to secondary bootloader?
I think it should be Volume Up + Power or Volume Up + Volume Down + Power at the same time.

What everything you tried?
What do you mean by secure boot? What do you mean by bleeding robot no command loop? You mean the screen turns on and off and goes to that same screen?
You have stock recovery you cant adb push any files.
Your phone was in what mode when you were checking device manager?

Thanks, but the problem is that my pc got reinstalled so it's not listed as adb device. I have usb debugging enabled but I have to check the box to pair with my pc.
Can you see the screen when turned on? If so, boot the phone into fastboot, flash stock recovery and then use that to factory reset the phone as it uses the buttons
Do you have USB drivers ? Use toolkit to check connectivity USB or you can try do everything on bootloader
