Cannot see custom notification sound - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I followed the instructions I found here ans there to add a custom notification sound to my new S6.
In short: copy the file file from the 'download' folder to the 'notifications' folder.
The file is working fine on a Note 2 and a Note 4. It's an mp3 file.
Pb is the file is not displayed in the 'default notification' list.
I tried with another file and with other file type m4a, ogg but nothing new is displayed in the list.
Any idea to sort this out please?
Thank you

[Q] How to create desktop short cut in Solid Explorer?

Hello everyone,
I used to use Linda File Manager on my android phone (moto me860).
With Linda File Manager, I was able to tap on a folder and select "create shortcut"
to create a desktop short cut on my phone.
I recently trying out Solid Explorer.
The graphic and interface is very nice.
But I can't find a way to create a desktop shortcut that let me directly access files in my phone.
Could anyone give me some help?
I wonder if it's a feature that comes with Linda File Manager, not Solid Explorer?
Thanks
Hello,
I download the solid explorer update this morning.
I press [custom short cut] -> [solid explorer] -> [pick the file I want to access]
I am able to create short cut on the desktop to a file in my phone.
this is great!
I was hoping I could do the same with the folder.
I press [custom short cut] -> [solid explorer] -> [pick the folder I want to access]
Linda let me create file/folder short cut from inside the Linda File Manager.
I wonder if the option was also included inside this update, but I wasn't able to find it.
One more thing I noticed, when I look into my folder properties, I see my pdf file type isn't listed. The pdf files are listed as [other] in the file type.
I am not sure if there is a way for file explorer to read the file header and put it in the file type.
p.s. sorry for the new thread. I am new a new member to this forum.
thank you.

[Q] Universal file manager with multiple functions for view and edit files

Does anybody knows a file manager that is capable to:
1) Browse any files
2) Create any files
3) Change any proprieties/attributes of any files
4) Edit any files
5) View any files as text
6) And the rest of any thing that can be made with files.
The reason I ask is because I don't know a program that can open an file as text and have the ability to edit that text and then save it.

[Q] Setting Ringtone using any mp3 song

Recently bought one plus one in India , was trying to customize the ringtone by using mp3 songs. But read in one of the forum that need to copy mp3 file in Ringtone folder and you will be able to see it in system ringtone's list.
But in my case the ringtones folder is in
/system/media/audio/ringtones
which is not allowing me to add any files , since do not have permission to write on this folder.
Please advice..
Is this the right folder to copy the desired mp3 file or have to copy somewhere else.?
If this is the right folder, how to set the permission to copy any files.
Following are few details about my phone
Android versio
4.4.4
model A0001
cyanogen OS 11
Thanking you in advance.
Cheers !!
