Cant flash MIUI 6 TDA version - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So i was on a MIUI rom by Techdocasia 5.7.6 i think and decided to get a go at hydrogen os.
flashed it successfully didnt liked it much so wanted to revert to back to miui rom
but couldnt from my nandroid backup due to reasons unknown went into a bootloop..
so i thought just go with clean install but this time also with bootloops
finally got cm12 rom i had on my internal storage to boot up but i wanted to go back to miui so tried again multiple times but again going into bootloop.i tried with older versions of miui rom as i read a feww complaints of bootloops with the new version but nothing again went into bootloop no matter what...
Can plz someone help me getting back miui if anyone had such experience??

[Q] Can't install new roms over existing roms

Hey guys,
I'm sure this has been answered but I just cant seem to find it. I currently have CM 7-05192011 and would like to try apex 6.4.2 or cognition 4.4.9 and so I backed everything up and flashed the rom with clockwork. It said the wipe was successful and said the installation was successful for apex and for cognition it said my phone may restart which it did. But after the restart it just loads up CM 7 again. I've been trying to flash it all day but it just isn't working. Anyone know how to fix it?
Cm7 uses unique partitioning tables, you will need to odin to stock before going to a different rom. After that going from rom to rom should be just a simple wipe and flash, unless you are going to a gingerbread rom then you would need new boot loaders.
So how would I do that? I've never used ODIN before, do I need the stock rom?

If you are a member of the unlucky group of folks that one click boot loops use this to fix that... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=995143

[Q] *ClockWork Mod Recovery Issue.

Hi guys I really hope someone can help me with this. I was running CM7 Nightly rom and decided to try and flash eaglesblood 2.3.5 and it flashed ok but the problem is that when I tried restoring my back-up on it I get an clockworkmod recovery error. Any Ideas?
what does the error say?
most likely it was a bad backup and slim chance of restoration
did u do a full wipe before restoring?
Yes I did a full wipe before flashing and also before I tried to restore my black-up thru rom manager.I have flashed plenty of roms and this phone am not a total noob when it comes to this phone. I have never encountered this problem before. Before i tried going into recovery thru rom manager to restore back up thru CWm 4.0 etc, and it says I need CWM 5.0. I updated the rom manager to 5.0 etc and when I reboot and go into recovery (not thru rom Manager) and it says that it is the 4.0 etc version. Also is the 5.0 etc version blue? it jumps from 4.0 to 5.0 back to 4.0. This is a lil weird I went into recovery and did a restore from there and when I try in RM it comes up with error message Cannot restore cuz my CWm is 4.0 etc. thats when it jumps back from 5.0 to 4.0. I know this is confusing and by the way all the etcs you see are because I don't know the exact version. Any helps and thnx to whomever does.

You need to update thru NVFlash. Here is the link and everything should be fine after that. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1054492
Thanks guys u rock. I got the new CWM on there for nvflash. Now I am moving my saved back up zipped file from downloads to CWM on sd card after I zip it, so well see how this goes right now. THanks again
With the G2X don't use rom manager for your backup/restore. Boot directly into the clockworkmod that you installed with nvflash and do the backup/restore from there.

I'm getting frustrated yesterday I spend all day trying to reflash to stock rom or another,I flashed bones something with kernal matrix it was fine, then I wanted to put gapps and it wouldn't install so I installed gapps and full Android on crespo and I forgot to wipe and do all that before flashing ROM, now I tried everything! And it's still get stuck on the open Android figure with a exclamation point,I have my backup I just want to go back to my stock backup 4.0.4 please if any one can help me, this is my second day with a nexus and I already hate it I might just end up switching it for a iPhone if I cannot restore my backup

[Q] My ace plus won't boot after flashing Kitkat roms and even cwm v6

I have 3 android phones, and the oldest one is getting me crazy..
First flashed a JB rom, after a bunch of troubles, finally got it done.
But then this phone had a little problem, i flashed back to stock and send it for repair.
The phone now is returned and reset to GB. And found that there are many Kitkat roms to flash which is really tempting me to do it.
First, i tried to flash Speed rom, with cwm 6.0.3.5. I got Status 7. Flashed back cwm 5.5 and successful in flashing the rom, but it won't boot and stuck in a white screen.
I googled a lot, searched in XDA, found that someone suggested flashed Kitkat with the latest CWM version or TWRP.
But, none of these works on my phone. This is the first time I got stuck in flashing recovery. Both give me a white screen.
Does the CWM version really matter? or it's just my phone's problem which could not work with android 4.4?
Any help would be appreciated..

[Q] Can't get back to stock

Lets just say I screwed something up big time. I tried to flash Cyanogenmod 11 and that caused me to not be able to boot up my phone. Now I can't flash back to stock using hemidall because my charging/USB port is toast (I was using my Mom's phone to change my battery). Previsouly I was on Cyanogenmod 9.
I did make a backup from CWM before flashing but since the flash to Cyanogenmod 11 replaced CWM with TWRP I can't restore.
I am running the Wind variant of this phone
Anybody have any idea what to do? Can somone recommend a rom/kernal that will bring me back to CWM so I can restore or at least boot up my phone? I did try a couple ROM's but they all just gave errors from TWRP

Flash back to stock + root using lumin's guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21953878&postcount=2
Then flash CM11 from there. If you want to go back to your previous ROM, you should also be able to flash directly from the rooted Gingerbread ROM, then you'll be able to restore your CWM backup after the flash.
