Just to let you all know that there is a new release of Angry Birds...
Just got an email from them saying that 1.4.2 is now out and I'm downloading it now

I still only see 1.3.5 on getjar and in the market. Any mediafire links like the last time?
P.S. - Never mind, appbrain got it for me.

Anyone know of a way to mark the first 3 worlds as complete so I can just try the new world/levels? ("the big setup")

New update for QVGA devices is now almost unplayable. Extreme lag

Just updated it for my Aria and the framerates are disgusting. It also seems like they broke some of the game mechanics, some of the blocks and pigs are indestructible.

Agree, not playable... And even more graphic bugs.

I just updated through the Market and that was the 1.4.2 version.

Well, it's good they moved the ad to the top right, else you'd have to wait for it to disappear before you could get to the stage when they showed you the new bird you could use.
Textures seem to be fixed on the Hero... I'm running Floyo 1.1.9.
Lag seems to be worse now though.

I downloaded this right off the market from my Samsung Moment and it took almost twice as long as usual on the loading screen alone. Gameplay itself, sucked. I'd go through the action off pulling back a bird in the slingshot and immediately release, wait at least 3 seconds for the bird to actually start moving back on the screen, and a few more for the bird to start moving forward and fly through the air. Completely unplayable at that speed. Uninstalled and reinstalled the older version. Thank god for backups. Might not have the newer levels, but at least it's playable.
I also noticed in my limited gameplay, as someone else has mentioned, that the pigs seemed nearly indestructible. I'd hit em dead on with a bird and they wouldn't die...
Ad placement in the top right corner, dumbest idea ever.

The update plays just fine on the Galaxy S, but then everything does. It still sucks down the battery. I'm also convinced 11-1 is impossible.

Get it from getjar.com, that Rovio's official mirror for angry birds on android w/out android market.

Getjar is only showing 1.3.5.
I just rolled back to a backup I had so I can still play it, sans the extra levels.

don't have any framerate issues on my Captivate.

new version woking on my legend, just like the old one

Reckless Getaway Released

Polarbit of Reckless Racing fame have released this game on the Android market.
We are starting to get some good games from more than just GameLoft, MineCraft DeadSpace

I purchased this a while ago, but why i can't download the data files thru wifi? the progress bar is not moving eventhough i have stable connection. i tried to restart the phone, reinstall the game, reconnect to my wifi, leave it for atleast 2 hours while downloading the data, still no luck..

This game is FANTASTIC! one of my new favorite Xperia compatible games

Its pretty cool so far. I'm on like the 4th level....does it get better throughout the levels?
It could def use some improvements....i hope they patch the game cause it has SUCH a cool premise, but sometimes the action feels slow and boring

This game is always crashing to me! Anyone with the same problem?

A brilliant game, you'll spend hours with this if you get into it. It's just amazing fun. If it feels slow or nothing is happening, then you're not playing it right. Ram other cars off the road, grab powerups, jump etc to build your score!

Yea this game is awesome.
One of the most fun games imo.
No problems for me. Unrooted 2.3.3 with latest firmware.

requested for a refund. after trying so many days of downloading unfortunately no luck. tsk tsk.

It a very good game, nice mechanics , pretty graphics & very easy to play but it is a little short on levels (finished the game in a couple of hours).
Probably try to master all of the levels when I get time off Minecraft

I have sometimes one or two crash too. Even if i reboot my phone, sometimes it crash and return on my home screen. I'm rooted, v 2.3.2.

Way too short.... not enough levels.... needs a survival mode.
I hope they offer an update with more levels.
I don't like how you have to play the level a few times to know where to go to get more stars.

I get this also. Great game, but crashes quite a lot for me.

[Q] Noob question about gameloft n roms

I have a Gt-6210 and it has honeycomb 3.2 and this is my first tab I bought it for size n performance but really wanted to play Order and chaos. But no matter what gameloft game I try to play says not compatible with my device.... and I must say I really don't care for this honeycomb os. Is there a way to trick gameloft games to play on my device or any custom roms that would help me fix this problem. Thank you...

You can the check bottom part of the thread. According to that thread you can edit the build.prop to trick android market.

Hi aperture, i tested many of them but got a force close. Has someone really tested those gameloft with the tweak on build.prop and success? I use chain3d can only run dungeon hunter. Other all force close after gameloft logo show. Tested fail on settler , starfront, backstab

Well I rooted downloaded super user, busy box, and root explorer and edited the file in the link you posted and so far so good! Hopefully all stays well... thanks again!

[Q] Running Fred! Not running that well on my device :/

Once in a while you come across a game that you like instantly. "Running fred" is one of these games. But sadly it isnt running smoothly at all.
Im on sch rom with uc kernel v8.
Can anyone test it on his/her device(its a free game) and tell me if its running smoothly or not? Or maybe can anyone suggest a way to smoothen the game up?
Update: Just tried it on galaxy s2 and its running as smooth as silk.... guess our device cant handle it :/.... Its weird though since our device can properly play games like asphalt 6 hd and spider man hd

Well have you tried falling fred from the same dev? Its also free yet it runs on our phone smoothly. But the running fred isn't. I also have that game and it's great but as you said it's kinda laggy that you can't see where the hell the coins are when are aleeady that fast. Well i think the reason is the GPU. Or perhaps it is not yet OPTIMIZED for our device. Let's wait for updates of that game.

you must have installed this as an apk from another phone or something's messed up in my market. I can see it, it prompts me to instal it, but it doesn't install, so I can't test it without making some effort to find a way to download it.

Probably something is wrong with your market since i did downloaded it from the android market.

Real Football (soccer) 2012 by Gameloft is supporting our device.
At least it appears in the android market and i was able to download the extra 482MB needed to play.
However, using Valhalla Final with Adrenaline shot 14.1 I was not able to compete in a match.
First it closed the screen and froze on initial menus, but even after a reboot I made, I actually initiated the match and it got stuck on the lineups banner and I had to reboot again.
By the way, device got a little warmer while running the game.
Has anyone been able to run it and actually play a match ?
What ROM & tweaks are you using ?

Its not available in the US. Which is weird.
I guess they dont think Americans would want to play soccer.

have you tried this on a rom that's not VB? It might be our phone and not the ROM

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 working good on SGS 4G !
used Val Final ROM with RC2 kernel and AS15beta.

I downloaded this as well... I was pissed to say the least.. i just assumed it wasnt compatible with the device.. i used the gremlin cleaner on my device re installed game.. still not working for me.. but it does work on my tab though
