Hallo everyone,
I have a motorola Xoom wifi (mz604 i guess)... Once (almost 1 year ago) i installed the touch recovery and a ICS stock rooted rom.
It worked always fine.... today I went to check my email, and the xoom was off and i couldn't turn it on... I thought it was the battery, but when the battery is empty, when you try to turn the xoom on you see a red blinking led on the top (next to the front camera)...
But i put the xoom to charge, (the white led on the bottom went on) and when i came back home the led was green.
I tried to turn the xoom on, but surprise, nothing, no reaction, then y plugged the charger once again, and the bottom led went green, but i still can't turn the tablet on.
I tried all keys combinations that are possible.... Power + Volume up, Power + Volume down, Power + Volume Up and Down, Just volume down, Just volume Up, both volume keys...
Then i tried to connect the xoom to the PC, and also no reaction, nothing in the Device Manager.... (i have Windows 8)
Someone have an idea to solve this problem? Or is my tablet really dead?
Thank you very much.

Might sound a bit basic, but when you did the key combinations, did you hold the buttons down for 5-10 seconds? I think power plus volume up is reset button.

Hi Luinwethion,
My Xoom is in the same state you described. It happened this morning. There is a white light while charging and a green light after some time. I didn't get any response, with any keys combination.
Have you fixed yours?
Can you send me any tip to bring it to live again?
Thanks in advance.
JP
Take the back cover off, on the bottom side of battery there are two wires-black&red- take them off the socket for 10minutes, when you connect it back again xoom should work!
Quick q: do you hear that click sound when pressing power button?
I have the same problem , my xoom went off without doing anything and it doesn't boot up!
does the disconnecting battery fix the problem ?
What rom you;

I'm in the same boat - the Xoom (USA WiFi) hung up while playing music - I rebooted it (power+up volume) it recovered, but then all the apps started crashing - I rebooted it again and it did not boot - just a blank screen. Battery light shows a charge when connected to a charger.
Does someone have instructions on how to remove the back cover?
Tom

Hi,
Two days ago I got the official update of jelly bean 4.3 to my Samsung galaxy s3.Last night phone was dropped with in small height. Today morning I switched on the phone its worked fine. But at the evening suddenly my phone was restarted and Samsung Logo Splash Screen (Samsung galaxy S3 GT-I9300T) and Keeps rebooting. So I remove the battery and insert it after a few second. After that the phone worked fine and again the same problem happened.
if I remove the battery, phone switch off. And if I insert the battery again, phone switch on itself (without press power button) and keep restarting.
I try to open the (Home + Volume Up+ power ON) button option. But is not working. If I plug the phone to charge, gray battery shows and again restarting to charge…. (I mean, phone won’t stay in a stage).
If i try (HOme + voulme down + power On) option, phone shows the download mode for 5 seconds and restart again.
So can you please let me know it’s a software problem or hardware problem?
If it’s a software how fix it ? ( I tried the emergency firmware recovery through kies, but kies couldn’t fine my phone).
Thank You.
hello xda,i have come across a issue with my one s after a year of use.my phone is not booting up at all.i have tried the power +vol down key combo but that is also not working.it has been some how got bricked i think i have also not installed any rom on it.just pure stock rom.i had though of installing cm11 on it but its not working at all.when i am connecting it to my wall charger the orange led is on and that is it.i am using a blackberry bold 9790 and really getting tried of it.plz help guys.:crying::crying:
Press power & vol.down for 15-20 seconds.
Press And Hold The POWER Button Until Touch Navigation Buttons Start Blinking, Then Press And Hold One Of Navigation Buttons Till Phone Screen Blinks And Navigation Buttons Stop Blinking, Then Release All Buttons And Phone Should Be Reboot.
The J7 prime I was using suddenly stopped working while I was running some searches on Google Assistant. It did not overheat, no root/kernel level modifications were installed. Was running stock sammy 6.0.1 rom and wasn't rooted.
I've tried to boot it to recovery/dfu , tried every volume+home+pwr button combo. But it just won't do anything. Help please?
Better late than never
Hi,
You're probably solved this by now - but I just had the same issue. Nothing else I tried worked before this:
While on charge (it won't say that it is charging or anything) hold Home Button + Power button for 30sec then wait a minute or 2.
After that press Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button for a few seconds.
After a few seconds I got a turquise screen warning me about a custom OS install.
I cancelled that with a Volume Down press and then my phone booted normally.
Hope it helps
My Galaxy S7 G930S (running rom G930F) is now black screen with red led flashing. Before this situation, I was just using it normally, but after press power button to lock, I go away, and when I return, my phone became...
Sorry for my bad English but hope you could understand and help me with this situation. Thank you.
P/S: I've tried to hold Power D + Home for 10 sec, or tried to boot into recovery mode and download mode but it still black screen
