Hi, firstly, sorry i am not good in english.
I need help with my asus zenfone 5 a500kl can not enter recovery mode. It said load kernel failed. My phone work okay without any problem but can not update firmware. Because it say load kernel failed. its my fault , it happen after i tried to install twrp or cwm maybe it incompatible with my phone.. i tried use asus flash installer but it need raw firmware. But i cant find raw firmware for asus a500kl t00p. What should i do to fix this problem. I tried to flash with asus flash tool but its not start. Nothing happen. Can any one help me to fix this. Hmmmm

Maybe this is a n00b question but i won't brick my device so i ask the professionals here at xda for advice
I have a Asus TF300T with stock Asus ROM, build JOP40D.WW_epad-10.6.1.27.5-20130902.
My tablet is very slow and i want to tray a custom ROM. I already unlocked the device with the Asus software and when the tablet is starting i see the text "Device is unlocked".
Now i need to install a recovery rom. I have adb and fastboot installed and my device is recognized.
My first question is: wich recovery must be installed?
I checked TWRP and there are different versions.
I see "JB", "ICS" and "4.2" versions till TWRP v 2.8.0.1. Latest version is only available as 1 version and doen's have "JB", "ICS" or "4.2" editions.
My second question is: do i need to rename the file to .blob and flash it with adb? Or can i use the .img extension?
Please help me choosing the right version

today i want help that first of all i want to tell what i change made to my zenfone
i am using asus zenfone 5 asus t00j 8gb 1.2ghz varient
i tried rooted my device using zenfone kikat my devices version is 2.21.40.44
so root failed then i found a post to root it at that i flash fastboot.img from firmware version 2.21.40.33 somthing
then bingo but when a system update aviliable i unrooted my devies and tried updating my device than update failed i want to that should i flash the fastboot.img of 2.21.40.44 to update my device to the latest firmware :crying::crying::crying:
i think that u expert guys can solve so i posted it need help plz plz plz
anybody can tell now what i should do
you need to flash the full rom 2.21.40.44 . then put the lollipop zip into internal memory . system will automatic pop up to update

Hey guys, i have a Acer Iconia B1-721 That has android 4.2.2 on it. It has a virus that infected the whole system. If i do a factory reset the virus still exists on the device. I tried flashing it with a spft image i found here, but it seems like its bootloader is still locked because spft gives a error and phone disconnects.
I pushed the system.img to the device using adb but it only caused the tab to stop booting. Now i cant use anything but the stock recovery to flash a stock rom. But the 4.4 stock rom for stock recovery does not get picked up by the recovery.
So i ask, is there anyone that can help me with the 4.2.2 stock rom for stock recovery or the test point to force flash with SPFT.

Hi guyz im not new at android world but im totally bricked on my asus zenofne2 ( z551ml ) i tried all methods of flashing ROM but it fails... last one i used Asus flash tool and flashed .RAW file and at the middle of flashing it says "flash image failure (remote : not allowed to flash this partition )"
i someone knows the way plz responce ...... Ty.
