[Q] Custom Recovery Installation Help

Hi all ,
I want to install the latest CWM recovery so that i can try out CM11. Presently I have a rooted P500 with LG Gingerbread 2.3.3 V20d India. After searching i found that lgdmp tool method in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318750 but the clockworkrecovery file links are all dead . I understood that the recovery and partition file both are needed but after searching for many hours also i can only find the recovery image files in other recovery zips. Using ROM manager is also being discouraged . I tried it also but it shows only LG P500 (old BB option).Please request to help me and guide me in flashing a custom recovery .Any help will be highly appreciated.

hello friends finally i have managed to flash my celkon a118 with stock rom. I am writing the procedure to some one who is needed. I am staring this post as assuming that you have minimum idea of how to flash your phone. if not please search about basics. please undesstand that i am not responsible for any damage to you phone.
1. downloaded many stock roms none of them are worked. finally i downloaded from the android xda site.

2. install drivers. i face bit difficult in this aspect. it is easy to install pdanet software in net and connect your working phone to pc.
3. In the firmware file there is a mtk flash tool. if you are comfortable do that or try sp flash tool.
4. while flashing you will get checksum error. the solution is delete checksum file and flash now.
5. the checksum file is in the downloaded file>flashtool>sp>checksum.ini(configuaration file)
6. flash now better to use firware upgrade. once i tried flash all and download then my imei is failed then i write my imei with mauiMETA software.

hey expert guys whenever i want a advise or other view threds over here
today i want help that first of all i want to tell what i change made to my zenfone
i am using asus zenfone 5 asus t00j 8gb 1.2ghz varient
i tried rooted my device using zenfone kikat my devices version is 2.21.40.44
so root failed then i found a post to root it at that i flash fastboot.img from firmware version 2.21.40.33 somthing
then bingo but when a system update aviliable i unrooted my devies and tried updating my device than update failed i want to that should i flash the fastboot.img of 2.21.40.44 to update my device to the latest firmware :crying::crying::crying:
i think that u expert guys can solve so i posted it need help plz plz plz
anybody can tell now what i should do

you need to flash the full rom 2.21.40.44 . then put the lollipop zip into internal memory . system will automatic pop up to update

[Completed] panasonic t41 mtk device problem any one help me please

hello guys i have panasonic t41 mtk6582 4.4.2 device ......... i am new in android so i have no more experiance ...... last week i ported a rom for my device which name was i think blissPOP . it is 5.1 lollipop based .. i ported first time for my device ... it was not worked .. it given error was that (installation aborted) so i thought that problem is in twrp recovery . so i changed my recovery into philz. then i try it was not worked ... so then i try to restore my stock rom backup then i knew that it is twrp backup it is not work on philz .. so now i lost my backup and i have not any rom for my panasonic deive for d flash ........ :crying: i tried to do flash stock firmware with sp tool but my device is non removeable battrey that is why it is not connected with adb drivers i think so and i already tried become a stock flash able zip from stock firmware but i do not know how to change updater script that is why it also not working..........so guys any help me please ........please

[Help] Flashed the wrong rom on..the wrong model

Hi everyone,
I made a "little" mistake and i'm coming for some help
I have the Asus Memopad HD 7. I made some research on the web to flash a new rom and I found this threat about lineage OS. I followed the tutorial and almost everything works fine..
...
...until now ! I'm trying to make my tab' stock rom again but it appears that I flashed a wrong kernel (because the threat is about the Asus Memopad 7, not the "HD" version )
I have acces to the recovery (flashing a rom doens't work "error 255") and fastboot (flashing another recovery doens't work "bad kernel").
Could you please help me to make it stock again ?
