From last two weeks i am facing sudden battery drop. When i charge my phone it charges upto 100% and then when i reboot it shows only 14-15% and also my battery work only for 1-2 hour.
I rooted my phone also because of this problem. And then used battery caliberation. But nothing helped. So after all this I come to xda forum again for helping me. Please help me.

Du battery saver. I used it last
Change your charger and see.. And uninstall du battery saver and see if it works... Beacause unsupported battery savers may cause calibration problems...

Thanks alot.
One more thing i want to tell you is that my battery is thickened from the middle. Can this be the reason of sudden drop.

Ya .. It also a reason for the drain .. The thickening is due to overloading and overcharging... Only way is to replace your battery with a new one...

Thanks buddy. Thats very kind of you.
I have seen people posting screen shot of their devices with 6,7 and even 8 hours of screen time. How do they get it???
I barely get 4.5 hours and haven't ever gotten even 5 hours.

1) Use some battery saver or so .
2) If that doesnt work call flipkart or from wherever you have taken it and ask them to replace it

Lower screen brightness to the loswest setting and disable google app data sync. Then also disable wifi/Data when you arent using it. Make sure you often clear recent apps and try an app like clean master.

No themes installed, brightness set to 20%, battery saver on, regularly using clean master, location services off, Wi-Fi and data always off.
Only using when needed like 2 hours browsing non stop, 1 hour video playback and 30 minutes low graphics games gaming
ive had 10 hours once but that was really trying,my usual is more like 5 or 6 ,im rooted and greenified but not much else.i have the brightness on auto all the time.
battery life seems to be getting better and better.
Okay guys now that I have replace my g. I get an average of about 5 hours on screen time with edge on for about 6 hours.

yes but only when using app, it usually drain 6% over night but now its about 10% overnight and when playing games (order and chaos online) one hour session would drain about maybe 10-30% but now 2 hours sends me straight to 0% so yeah

Yeah me too, now Im using Stamina everyday to reduce the battery drain but if this keeps happening we will have to downgrade to 4.4.2 cuz this is a lot of battery drain!

that funny, cause that what I'm doing right now, i don't really see anything in 4.4.4. i thought bugs fixed would fix my favourite game. (Galaxy on fire 2) it would crash on launch even when i just got my phone. so i wanted the 4.4.4 to fix it but not really :/
Also (dunno if it's me being me but) i cannot root it so yeah. I'm sliding back to 4.4.2 as i see no real improvement
And on Antutu it dropped a WHOLE 2000! i got a 19000 ish score before now when i do a general test it about 17000-16500 maybe 17500 on a good day with reboots and cool-down overnight before the test. So getting to 4.4.2 is best for me. But gotta find a way to get the system update to stop notifying me.
well that was my 10hour rage. i hope i gave you good info that maybe you didn't know befor

Root your phone. Install greenify and disable service..My phone could last for 24hrs with 18hrs medium usage and 6hrs sleep with zero draining battery.

I updated my phone yesterday and the log was about system optimization and power consumption, but I noticed that it's consuming more battery now specially in idle state. So anyone else is facing this problem?
