Ok so rooted and s-off'd my HTC one m8 using sunshine....put a custom Rom on it for a while....then put stock back on...well now I wanna put a custom on again....so I went throught the steps. Well when I go to put my identifier token through HTC dev, it says it's not correct or too long. Why is it doing it now and what can I do?

Once you are s-off'ed you don't need to unlock your bootloader again.
Seriously? I didn't realize that...

Why would you like to do that??
That will wipe the device and will not get your warranty back..
For answer yes it should be possible to lock the bootloader

Hi i'm trying to get my HTC Desire Eye back to completely stock but keep running into problems,
i've flashed ROM_STOCK_2.19.401.1_Desire_Eye_Europe which seems to be running fine, but there is OTA updates to get it from Lollipop to Marshmallow.
When these updates download and attempt to install I keep running into errors:

e: find no match partition: for package path @/cache/recovery/block.map

Ok, flashing twrp require your bootloader to be unlocked that's why the update failed, try to relock your bootloader, you can find guide's for that on xda:good:

i want to change my rom but every i'm flash still
" remote: device is locked, Cannot flash images "
i dont know what the meaning this message
The bootloader is locked, you'll have to unlock it first. If you just follow the guide on how to unlock the bootloader that has been posted in this forum, you should get it done easily.

The answer to your question is No.
so how do you update to 8.1 while rooted? Thx
edit: figured it out. Edit the flash-all script and take out the -w and just have 1 space there. go into bootloader and flash it. reboot back into bootloader after and fastboot boot twrp then flash twrp and magisk.

No idea. Still trying to figure this out, currently trying to flash the .img like you said with the toolkit. But thinking maybe flashing the whole 8.1 ROM. Should work ......I think ...:cyclops:
you dont need the toolkit for that.
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
let phone reboot then you can use skip toolkit. get the latest one that supports 8.1
Doing the above gets rid of the red triangle error "device is corrupt"
