Oops...Boot freeze - HTC Desire S

I have tried to flash a custom rom to my ICS stock DS, the boot loader is unlocked and the install went fine. Using CWM recovery.
However, it get stuck on the HTC boot logo...
Any ideas?
i thought about going back to stock rom, but no can do as I cant boot it!
UPDATE
It actually suddenly let me re-install stock while the boot was frozen....fingers crossed

I'd advise you to read my post in this thread a while ago.

Once boot.img was mentioned I was able to get it all working with a custom rom! I just didn't know what to look/search for!
First time flashing a custom, so I do appologise.
Many thanks

(Request) Stock ICS rooted with sticky recovery.

Stock roms replace clockwork with standard recovery, u have to remove a file to stop this happening. I know what I am asking for exists, I just can't find one with a working download link.

Thanks I did see that, but that has tweeks etc.. I am looking for straight stock, not altered except for root and that recovery file removed.
If all you're out to do is keep Clockwork, flash this after flashing (but before booting into) stock rom.

This and keep root, should I just flash super user zip at the same time?
Thanks for the help.
Yeah, that will work. What the above zip does is remove the script file that regenerates stock Android recovery, so Clockwork doesn't get deleted on every boot.

If your Hboot is higher then 1.13 then TWRP wont flash boot.img and has to be fastbooted.

Which kernel are u trying to flash?
Are u familiar with fast boot? If so you need to enter the command fastboot flash boot boot.img. Also u may want to do S-off so u can just flash kernels through recovery. Here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155071
He already tried fastboot, it says so a couple of posts above yours.

Need to provide more detail than that, if you want help.
As already asked, what kernel are you trying to install? What was the exact fastboot command you used? Any error messages? Can adb read the phone, or do any other fastboot commands work?
If you are trying one of Rohan's kernels you need to flash it in recovery and still fastboot flash the boot.img afterwards. His kernel installs something during recovery that has to be there even if you have to flash the boot.img separately.
If that isn't the case, then yes more details are needed.

When someone is trying to help you, it's best to give all the info they ask for, even if you think the information won't help or is not important, because if you did know better, you wouldn't be having any problems. The more information you provide, the easier it is for someone to figure out what's going wrong.

See exad's post and well as the mine above. If it's a custom kernel you need to flash it in recovery and fastboot flash the boot.img as well.

Can you go into Bootloader/Fastboot? (Volume Down + Power)
EDIT: Read your other thread. You need to flash a stock recovery. You can do that via fastboot. Flash a stock recovery, format SD card, then flash a custom recovery again and you should be good to go.
Process of flashing any recovery is easy. Refer to the method in my signature, you just need to follow the RECOVERY FLASHING PART ONLY.
Other necessary info is also available.

Great. Now you have a stock recovery. Just format the SD Card from recovery and the SD should be good.
Afterwards, you can flash any custom recovery and mess around with flashing ROMs etc.

Download This. Open the zip file with 7-Zip or WinRAR, go to firmware.zip, extract recovery.img.
Then flash the recovery in the same way. This is the stock recovery and not TWRP.
I am assuming your phone to be S3 and updated to Jellybean already.

Yes fastboot flash recovery recovery.img.
But TWRP can flash recovery.img itself. Switch to IMG instead of ZIP in the Install menu.

What is your bootloader version? It should be HHZ12h if you are running Android 5.1.1. It can create issues if you still have an old one.
