is anybody else noticing issues where apps that use internet crash constantly? E.G. When installing Asphalt 6 it crashes about 30 times which i have to keep resuming saying there was downloading errors. Not to mention i have to wait about 3 minutes after hitting download for apps in the market to actually download? Is anybody else experiencing these issues? Please make yourself known if you are and if somebody has generated a fix for this PLEASE tell me.

Okay so i found out theres a bug with the 3.2 update. At least in my case. Maybe others who just arent aware yet. I hosted tests. I installed asphalt 6 on my 3.2 rooted unlocked setup. the download failed about 30 times intermittently. slowly downloaded entire thing failing and restarting throughout.
Then i removed my root and relocked my device and factory reset it(still on 3.2 just deleted all my data). Posted same test with same results. So then i flashed my device to 3.0 and upgraded to 3.1 DID NOT UPDATE TO 3.2. Did the same test downloading asphalt. It downloaded all 500+mb of data in one run without failing. Aswell as my Gtalk has been sitting for an hour and hasnt logged me off once.
So my conclusion is that 3.2 brings unstable wifi connections and therefor i will stay at 3.1 until a new update is released!!! THANKS!!!!!
Again this may not bother others but if im doing video on talk i hate having to recall every 5 minutes and i hate having to constantly try to redownload files when they fail.

No issues like that to report here. I'm running tiamat rom 2.0 now, but I was running 3.2 stock before and it was fine.

I think i figured the market part out... I hit download app it says waiting for install. I click on my apps in the top corner then hit back twice then go to the app again and instead of download it says install. REALLY WEIRD market glitch...
Now for Gtalk. Is anybody else having issues where it logs you out ever 5 to 10 minutes saying issues connecting to server?
It would be nice to know im not the only one having issues downloading large files on 3.2 Just so i can know for sure i dont have defective hardware.

I don't think this is related but whenever I have had trouble downloading, I check to see if I have any app updates waiting. They seem to take priority over new downloads.
I notice that too but unfortuneatly this is just when i was downloading 1 large file. I dont know why but for some god awful reason my wifi connection reset like ever 5-10 minutes causing issues for every app that needs internet access. But now on 3.1 its working flawlessly. Along with the benefit of having swype keyboard
I am starting to narrow this bug down, and should be fixesd in the next tiamat rom.
I am using Tiamat 2.01 and am experiencing extreme slowness on anything over wifi. This is on a U.S. wifi only. As I'm typing this there is a several second lag from when I hit the key to the time it displays. What I don't remember is whether it started when I went from Tiamat 1.1 to 2.0 or from 2.0 to 2.01.

Man i really dont think its your fault for this bug. Whenever i upgraded to 3.2 stock alone this issue arises. I guarantee you its the fault of the stock rom. thats when i experience the issue. ive tried updating to just stock 3.2 3 times now from 3.1. 3.1 is always fine. No download issues. It downloads whole files in bulk without failing. But it never fails. Every time i upgrade to 3.2 stock i get failures throughout the large file downloads.
Any news? out of curiosity.
I am sure this was discussed somewhere else, but if you set up the WiFi profile with a static IP this issue goes away. It is definitely a bug in stock 3.2 where DHCP continuously reassigns and IP address every few minutes causing all downloads and GTalk sessions to be disconnected. Now I know static IP addresses are not always possible, but strangly what I found on my stock 3.2 Xoom is that as soon as I had ONE profile setup to use static IP, the other profiles that were setup to use DHCP no longer had this problem. Really strange.
My problem is that everything over wifi was slow with several second lags between the time you hit a key and the time it displayed that character. Even just scrolling on a webpage was excruciatingly slow. Local apps ran fine. I thought I would give your idea a try, so I went into my AT&T U-verse modem and left DHCP enabled for my Xoom's IP address, but I dedicated that address to my Xoom. I then rebooted the Xoom and without making it a static IP address my network speed was very fast.
Hopefully that helps anyone who is having the same issue, but doesn't want to set a static IP address.
anyone make any progress on this yet? I just flashed the 3.2 Tiamat 2.01 ROM, coming from Tiamat 1.1 and am unable to complete the download of themes in thumb keyboard and other apps that allow for in-app downloads. I am assuming that the problem is related to this. Does that sound correct?
ok, so weird issue for me.. and idk if anyone else is experiencing it cause it doesn't seem like it.. I'm getting wifi error (and before anyone says anything about my router, it's already configured). It just won't turn on no matter what. I hit it, it says a grayed out "Turning On..." and then error again. No attempt or anything. I go into wifi settings and everything under Wi-Fi is grayed out, that's the network notification at&t wifi hot spot setting and wifi networks. I've been trying hard and absolutely no resolution. A google search only affords me more "fixes" for my router and that's not the issue. If i can get a referral somewhere else that doesn't talk about the router being the issue then i'd greatly appreciate it.

I've never heard of that error before so I don't know. Are you rooted? What version of Android are you running? What I'd do is backup all your apps, text messgs, contacts, etc., and do a factory reset and see if that fixes it. Worst case scenario you could flash a fresh new version of 2.3.5 via RSD Lite and you'd almost surely have the problem fixed, unless it's a hardware issue.
I actually started off on 2.3.5 with the issue, and then i started having problems with my ability to actually get past FB, so i had to do a the rsd fix where i force stock on there again. From that point since it still wasn't working I went and pushed ota which took forever and got onto blaze hoping/praying that it would finally work after that. ultimately nothing worked so I'm here now at the mercy of the forum hoping some guru might have something that I could try.

Wow brother, if you flashed the 2.3.5 fxz to it and still had the problem, i'm thinking there's a hardware issue.
yea, i figured. so i've already contacted motorola and since i'm still under warranty i can return it and they'll send me another one. them's the break, but i got 2 weeks before i even have to decide on that so its not something i'm rushing towards lol
Try going to adb shell
su
ifconfig tiwlan0 down
(toggle airplane on then off)
ifconfig tiwlan0 up
(toggle airplane on then off)
Maybe that will bring your adapter back up. Hope that helps.

i did adb shell in cmd prompt, it started up went [email protected] then i did su and it changed to [email protected] and i did what you said.. and it gave me that error
Had the same error problem a few ago using blaze v3 rom. After reboot, it was solved and I could connect to my wifi again.
Have no idea what caused the problem, as I didn't do anything out of the ordinary with the device since the update from blaze 2.5.

i am having the same problem also. it just started right after i did the "flash back to 2.3.5 moto fast script" the first time i used it everything was fine but this time ..which i did the same process....i am getting that same error.and when i try to ota to 2.3.6 it says that i need to turn on wifi ????since then i have tried factory reset and still had the issue.then i rooted 2.3.5 and using cwm i was able to restore a backup.so now i am back on 2.3.6 and i am still having the same problem.i have tried a few wifi fixer apps from the playstore but nothing seems to work. and i still dosnt want to OTA without wifi working :confused........so it seems like there is something nthat went wrong with the motofast script or something got erased ???i hope this will help to try and figure out a solution ......btw im new to this somewhat so please bare with me

only once did i have problem with wifi on this phone and i never fixed it on 2.3 ...
after a lot of trial and error though, i got it fixed with upgrading to ics.
other than that, does your bluetooth do the same? because symptoms like these usually mean water damage. you might want to check the indicators, (if the a2 has any) --- if you broke your wifi by updating rom, this probably isnt the case.
I noticed that the description for the wlan interface is different in the build.prop between GB and ICS. So you might check your /system/build.prop.
Look for this towards the top of your build.prop

softap.interface = tiap0
In GB wifi.interface = tiwlan0
In ICS wifi.interace = wlan0
So make sure the value is correct, if the value is wrong it will show your wifi "greyed out" in the settings. Anyway, it's something to try, and I hope that helps. If you change the value, make sure you reboot then check to see if it is fixed.
Since I don't know if anyone is still looking into this at all because I haven't seen many updates to this thread, I'm wondering if anyone has checked the kernal information. I was able to do some searching (btw I haven't sent in my atrix 2 in yet because of work) and I found that there was some issues in regards to the Kernal. I don't know if thats true or not but I would like to see someone test it out or try it out or what have you and see if they can shed some light on the situation because the situation is rather bleek, and i'd rather not have to send in a perfectly good phone that was working just fine before the flash, and still wouldn't work after reflashing the AT&T rom.

I think I've experienced ALL KINDS of WiFi issues! And so far, thanks God I've taken over all of them successfully! :good:
So I wanted to share my experiences so that they would help someone.
1st. The first problem I got, was the way when I turned on WiFi, it would RAPIDLY get back to its off state at once! But that was a simple issue which ONLY needed to GET MY PHONE "S-OFF" and it got OK.
2nd. The second issue, was that the WiFi would turn on on the next ROM, but STUCK ON "Searching for WiFi Networks..."; After searching a bit through the Net and the Forum, I tried "WiFix Manager.apk" which was supposed to figure out those issues related to the regional problems, and fortunately it did work and the WiFi Networks nearby just began to be found on my phone!
3rd. The third of my issue-buddies (!) was horrible speed over WiFi using the next ROM, which I never figured out and I think related to that ROM, as my WiFi worked quite great on the one after that with great speed.
4th. The fourth, The last, and the most "SCREWING UP" issue, was GETTING STUCK ON THE WIFI SETTINGS PAGE IN TURNING EITHER ON OR OFF THE WIFI RADIO AND EVENTUALLY FINDING NO NETWORKS on the next ROM (!! ) ; As the phone would start to lag, I mean TREMENDOUS LAG to an extend which it was really hard to resist against getting slept while waiting for a response!!! After LOOOOONG hours of self-mind-eating and asking questions and reading articles and blah blah blah..., finally reached......... NO WHERE! !! (Only a little clue of that it maybe relates to the bootloader) So, something just bumped into my mind, I looked at the bootloader specifications and just realized that the version of the radio was somehow, a little, you know... OUT OF IT! I mean it seemed a little old to me, according to a light little dream of the very start status of my bootloader came across my mind. Thus, I downloaded the latest available Radio, based on ICS from "HERE" (huge thanks to stempox) and the matching RIL from "HERE" (again thanks to stempox) and put them in root of my SD Card, then booted into the bootloader so that the phone would automatically detect the Radio and ask for upgrade or not, then booted into Recovery and flashed the ZIP file relating to the RIL, and re-booted to my ROM. GREAT! IT APPARENTLY WORKED AND STILL IS!! :good::good:

On other devices in house wifi is fine, but in my case there`s a problem. Maybe problem is new update for nougat, i dont know, maybe something else. At first i tried with deleting cache memory and deleting some apps, but that didnt work. Then i checked other devices in my house and they arent lagging.
I hope u will help me, because i bought this phone a month ago and im losing my faith in him.
Problably a simple software issue, like a wrong dns, delete(forget) the wifi from your phone and reconect to it without any manual settings.

I had slow WiFi too, in my case somehow it's caused by the Bluetooth. Whenever it's on, my WiFi slows down from 30 mbps to 1
Have encountered the same problem and only thing I tested, is disabling the Bluetooth or going to Direct Wifi changing the Name and trying a Speedtest then .. All is OK But if you enable/disable Bluetooth again it stops working correctly.
It doesn't work anymore since B402.. And no solving solution found in this last update from Huawei.
Same problem here! since B402 update my wifi gets stuck at 0.5 Mbps if i have bluetooth turned ON. As soon as i turn bluetooth OFF my wifi works great!
Just updated manually with formware finder to version C432B404 and problem fixed!! Attention, it will update 2 version of the firmware: first a B404 normal, and then i get a new B404 (programmer) . Just updated both ad now everything works fine regarding internet speed with bluetooth on.
Had the same problem and it was the google home app for me. Uninstalled it and problem went away. Hope this helps for someone.

I got myself the Oukitel WP 5000 - i work a lot outside and i need something strong and heavy that does not break so fast.
This thing is exactly what i want but after 3 month it developed a problem - one morning it did not connect to w lan nor pay-internet
anymore . Both indicators show an exclamation mark. I got it fixed by resetting the entire phone but to make it run like before took me half a day.
A few weeks later i had the same problem again and only the total reset helped but i am loosing a lot of time doing that.
Now its the 3rd time that i cant connect anymore to w lan and also not to pay internet.
The funny thing is that WhatsUp works - and i can acces my cameras and move them - so there is some sort of connection but i dont get anything when i
use Mozilla or Opera.
The rooter is ok - all other connected things work just fine.
There must be some problem with Android i cant find - i posted the same question in a german forum but got no answer.
Android version is 7.1.1. original (everything is original on this phone)

Is there a way i can store my "entire" phone lets say on my PC and when my phone goes on the blink
again i just copy it back from my PC and i am on the road again.
Is there a program that can do that ?
Re-installing Numbers, names, app´s, passwords, alexa stuff and many other things by hand take such a long time.
