It says:
SECURITY NOTICE
UNAUTHORISED ACTIONS HAVE BEEN DETECTED.
RESTART YOUR DEVICE TO UNDO ANY UNAUTHORISED CHANGES.
if i click this message it open an app which has a big orange shield at the top and a slider to activate KNOX protection and anti malware.
I've already done that, numerous times! lol
I rooted by: flashing TWRP using Odin, then booted to recovery and flashed Super SU.
That's all I did.
So how exactly can I use Titanium Backup to help me?
what is Secu?
thanks for the help btw!

That was exactly it! I just went into System/app and deleted the security agent stuff
Thanks!!
If you tap and hold on a notification, it will reveal the source applications name, it should be something like ESLSecurityAgent or something like that.
anyway to remove that notification on a non rooted device ?, my brother installed the apk for the exchange email and receives the same notification , long press on it , app info no option to turn off notifications.

I thought that a custom recovery disables updates.
What do I have to do to stop it from downloading.
I don't want to wake up to a locked boot loader.
Thanks for any help

Not a problem. If the OTA downloaded, make sure to delete the update.zip from /cache/fota. Also, manually checking for a software update will cause Settings to crash as a side effect of renaming or uninstalling "sdm 1.0"
Does this happen to anyone else? When you try to take a screenshot you get an error message that says: "Unable to capture screenshot. Prevented by security policy."
Screenshot works on my fathers phone (which isnt rooted) but it doesnt work on mine (which is rooted)
Could it be because im rooted?

It has nothing to do with being rooted.
You must have either disabled, froze or uninstalled "FaceProvider" in settings>applications>all
This will only happen if it's frozen, either uninstall it, or enable it.
Good luck!
Have a great day!

I had the same issue with screenshots in the past.
And enabling that app fixed my screenshot issue.
Try this, delete faceprovidor's data and cache and reboot the phone.
Then try screenshots again.
I am certain that there are other apps which require faceprovidor to work properly besides screenshots.

Download current firmware using SamFirm
Run .exe as Administrator and use SM-G935P for Model, SPR for region. Check Auto tab then click Check Update.
Once version appears on top right, click download.
Or you can download from HERE
To apply this firmware, use ODIN in download mode and apply BL,AP,CP,CSC (extracted from zip) to each designated slot.
Use HOME_CSC in CSC slot if you want to keep your settings/files.
(Currently uploading latest firmware to my database for a faster DL)
STEP ONE
-Download/Buy Package Disabler Pro + PD Plugin Engine from app store or install apks.
-Open PDP and insert this xml file to disable needed apps for root.

Love the walkthrough style. Thanks for writing this up.
Taking the dive later this week, I have been missing root since moving to QAA. I will try to update over the weekend.
Worked!
Everything worked like a charm. I was already on nougat. followed instructions from step 2 and everything is working. I did have to run root.bat twice to get supersu app to show up, but it was already stated in directions which helped greatly for me not to freak out at that point lol. Anyways as i stated it worked like a charm and anyone on the fence if you rooted before you will be able to do this for sure. Once again thank you very much good sir!
Thanks for the root method I have been waiting for something to come out can't wait to try.
And just a heads up it is frowned upon on XDA to share paid apps.
About to attempt, will post results
How is it running? Smooth? hot?

Im guessing its a package i disabled or didn't disable so it will take a bit to sort out. Its no biggie i might need to reroot. I can still raise the volume if i press volume down and move the slider. This is the only minor problem I've seen.

Try clearing google play store and google play services cache, if there is little cache then clear data and reenter your gmail. Youre talking about when updating in play store right? If not try only disabling these below instead [from goongydin's thread] and flash engineer. Or manually disabling from list(dont import). But once we disable these apps and flash boot img, these apps aren't supposed to change status which would mean repetitive testing. My honest answer is always going to be try from beginning again.
Bootagent
Carrier Setup Wizzard
Chameleon
Com.android.carrierconfig
MobileInstaller

So i got this south korean model of the J7 called the J727s (galaxy wide 2), but this creepy Knox thing keeps me from using the home button and the multitasking button.
It seems to read the imei or whatever instantly after connecting to any kind of internet and start this weird actions. The app seems to be Knox enrollment service and it is the device manager so i cant delete it.
Im ready to root this, and maybe factory reset would be ok. Can anyone help me with deleting or disabling this?:crying:
And please dont post such replies like 'call to the it manager and delete the device from the list' i've already read the s7 post that had the similar problem with me.
