Has anyone gotten linux working on this tablet with the stock kernel? I tried a few installers but they all failed.
TIA!

My friend has an LG Mach and is getting sick of ICS and the stock interface. I have found that the bootloader is cryptographically signed, but I was curious if any work has gone into getting safestrap working on there. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but in theory couldn't someone compile CyanogenMod 11 for the phone then and just install it in the non-stock slot if Safestrap was working?
Is there a way to check if I'm running on x86? I used to be able to run an app on my stock JB, but ever since I flashed SlimKat 4.4.4 I was not able to get the app to work again. I heard the problem was that the app wasn't able to run on x86...any ideas?
If I am running on x86, how do I change that?
Hi,
I am wondering how I can finally migrate away from stock. I am running 4.4.2 on SM-P900 without device encryption.
Since I am still unrooted, I am guessing I need to use Odin3 (not v3.07). Is there another method that does not require a PC? I only have access to a macosx

Do you have any custom recoveries installed?
Rooted/unlocked Maxx, looking to do some minimal ROM-tweaking on my own. I used 1FF-obakem_verizon-user-4.4.4-SU4.21-release-keys.xml to root (and Sunshine-unlock) my Maxx, and I'm currently still on that ROM. (Yes the Mini version seems to be working fine and my phone still believes it's a Maxx.) TWRP 2.8.4.0 (ghost) installed and working.
QUESTIONS please:
1. The only "stock" ROMs I can locate are named as "_obake[..]_release-keys". What does that mean? Are these the stock ROMs?
2. I've found advice that if running 4.4.4, one should not try to install any version older than 4.4.2. I don't necessarily want to do that, but can anybody advise why I should not back up to, say, a Pac ROM based on 4.3?
TIA.
Just signed up here first post to the threads but you guys been helping me out for years different devices programs huge thanks to everyone here.
New to this device I'm starting to really dig it ran couple stable 8.1 ROMs got magisk+systemless xposed running. I previously dualbooted lineage nougat with stock on my droid bionic using safestrap(wanted to add a gingerbread) before getting this phone. I flashed the Multirom Twrp but app said I was having kexec kernel issues then ended up bootlooping os or getting black screen few times ended up just full reflashing cm firmware putting regular twrp back up.
Seen video of multibooting many ROMs( but I assume older non Oreo ROMs) and Ubuntu touch from a flash drive. Is it possible for me to bootup with a safe stock, ubuntu, and a 8.1 ROM(read Aosp extended is compatible but couldnt flash a kernel on top of it)? Couldnt find stock cm 6.0.1 bacon zip was gunna try and flash think it was ap kernel again over that but I tried a couple kernels didn't know which one was the right one.
Is there any newer Multirom alternatives or proper current kernel patch link? Does EFI droid work better could I still get ubuntu? Any advice would be appreciated pointers in the right direction tried to do some digging trying to really superpower my device if I can before I log into my all apps and stuff again. Is this a wild goose chase? Or was I like one step away
