Is there possibility to hide any app or make a separate tab with chosen apps in app drawer without whole launcher. Its so annoying when search any app to see all useless samsung apps or apps that are needed but you never use them with start within app drawer. Some kind of favorite apps or something ... ? Also search functionality in app drawer ?
Hello,
anyone know how to remove an application icon in Android without having to uninstall it?
From where?
Home screen - just drag and drop it on the X
App Drawer - Depends on your launcher, stock launcher does not support hiding apps, custom ones generally do.
Don't need the app? Disable the app in app settings.
Make an icon invisible? That's potentially harder, launchers which let you choose custom icons for an app allows you to set an invisible icon (icon filled with hex code 00FFFF I think?)
Unicon lets you set icon themes system wide (so they even show up inside apps), but does not let you do it on an app-per-app basis as far as I know. Also requires root.
If you have enabled the toolbox feature, from editing the settings database, and want to add more apps but having the settings force closed, simply tap and hold the app which will enable to add upto 5 apps. If it doesn't work, click and drag to top of screen.
My one of the most favourite module of xposed (Xgel settings) is not working on Yuphoria.... I have also tried other apps from the playstore...but everything failed.
Things I want :-
1. Changing the icons of apps
2. Hiding the icon labels
3. Hiding apps from the app drawer. ( Hide Apps Xposed Module Not Working )
Basically I just want a substitute for XGel or the way to make it work flawlessly.

I have tried to download the mx player to my samsung s6. It says its installed but i cannot find it anywhere on my phone and wont let me install it again :S reeeeally confused!!!!!
You have looked in the app drawer, right? The app may not be added to your home screen by default.
And if you have a custom launcher, might it have a "hide apps" option that is hiding the icon?
