Hello everyone, I have a nexus 5 (rooted, unlocked bootloader, custom rom&kernel)
My battery drops from ( for example) 16 to 13 in 1m, what's wrong with my battery! Is it a software of hardware problem??
BTW, I try flashing factory image, different roms&kernels, I try to calibration Battery and it didn't work!
Here's some screenshot
I hope there's someone who know what can I do to fix that
Thanks.

I don't know all tips about battery life. That's why I suggested you to post in the dedicated thread.
Anyway a part of your drain is obvisouly caused by Google Fit. Do you use it? if not then uninstall/disable it.

I was wondering if it is okay to charge your phone while you are flashing roms???
I do it all the time to be sure my battery won't run down too much. I've never had an issue with doing this. I seem to remember a post somewhere that recommended against it but I don't remember why.

I don't know if it's bad but I personally do it all day long, testing and flashing with phone plugged in, always have with all my phones, could be bad though, but I've never encountered anything.

Thanks. I've been doing it also, but like you I vaguely remember something about it not being good... Keep on flashing.
I just got a Nexus % i unlocked it and rooted it asap after unboxing..
now i know its againt the rules to ask which qualifies to be the best rom etc..
but what i wish to know is many roms threads have mentioned that the respective roms are ART compatible?
can someone please explain me what it means?
does it mean that the rest run only on Dalvik!
and besides will switching to ART make the battery life any better?

Feature list padding infuriates me.

Hi, All or most 4.4.x Roms are ART compatible as it is integrated in stock Rom. It could increase battery life as things require less processing steps to load (evidence needed). The main defect is apps compatibility. Here is everything you need to know about. READ

Hi,
There was a time where custom deodexed rom wasn't compatible with ART, it's why some custom roms have this "feature" (like you said) mentioned... It's more informative for me.
It can avoid also to have always some users asking for ART compatibility if it's listed in the OP of the rom (if they read the OP...) or in the title.
Take a look here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516646, it could be useful to for the OP
EDIT: I was again too long to type

Sry, try this: http://youtu.be/jqUmHrvD6Rw
This is due to compatibility issues between KitKat Bootloader and the Lollipop Kernel. Turn screen off once to fix. Custom stock kernels in the future will hopefully solve this.
Please search in future, this question has been asked many times before.

hello guys,
dont get me wrong im digging the new android, its faster and easier and better looking than the old ones.. the only thing that is terrible is the battery consumption..
so i know you guys have tutorials on rooting my device therefor making it cleaner and that could also mean uninstalling some google stuffs could longer the battery life..
now i just read about other mobile OS's than iOS/Android/Windows.
but it isnt that easy..
i would love to install ubuntu touch or something similar on my device.. i can imagine them being pretty serious about their stuff as it is with PC Software from them. althouugh i cannot find anything on google about compatibilty or how to install on exactly this device.
anyways, help and words would be hardly appreciated..
cheerss
There is FirefoxOs
http://fxpblog.co/firefox/nightly/
PS: Our device is Eagle
hey thanks for your reply, are you using the Firefox OS at the moment or do you have any experience with it?
Do you think the whole handling of my device will improve?
i can easily let go of syncronisation and stuff like that but my main intention is to root and to have a cleaner mobile overall..
cheers greetings

sounds interesting. is this getting updated ??? like actively supported or something?

If what is improved then making the dev update. It is important that you stick to the flash's manual and the APN manually enters.
I found this awesome rom on devs-lab.com, AICP for Lenovo A6000/plus. The rom is really fantastic, the performance is great on my lenovo a6000(free RAM around 400-420MB almost all the time), but there is only one bug and I cannot find the solution for it, so I need help. The battery shown is incorrect. It shows the same percentage of battery until I power off the device and then wait for 5 seconds before starting it again. Rebooting the device doesn't work.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. : I'm not the owner of the rom, i just found it online and don't know who the author is.
the link to the rom is
