I have experienced that cyanogenmod roms don't support my sim operator, because my fone goes into bootloop if my sim is inside, tried using the roms with other sim,or without sim or airplane mode & the rom boots fine
Is there any way to overcome this issue? (except for changing the sim)

create a logcat(if you dont know how i worte a guide here link in my signature) and provide it with a brief discription of the problem here sim causes bootloop so that they can provide fix in future release of the given rom.

The fone should boot atleast inorder to take a logcat, I'm saying it doesn't boot with the sim inside

Tried many, CM7,9,10 ny various devs, even Cyanmobile.. None of them boot with my sim inside.. has to do with the operator..

you got a computer and a usb cable perform logcat via adb it takes a logcat before booting of the boot process.
please elaborate it goes in boot loop or stuck on boot logo or doesnt switch on in condition 1 & 2 logcat works not in 3.

look no dev is going to serve it to you on a plate here you gotta work for it if you want it.
the error might be in the solution but devs are guys who make changes to source right well they can make this change for you but your error ight be something they dont know they arent god exactly(how much you wish them to be) they are human and need help to understand your problem in on googling it no solution was present well make a logcat and present it to the dev with a big help header they are smart guys will figure out the error and make the changes for you in the next release but if you dont do anything but write your proble in Q&A well maybe god help you cause you will remain stuck.

and in the cm rom's thread too most devs restrict their notifications to their threads only.

i am new to ROMS and want install the ROM [JB 4.3 r2.2] [ KatKiss-4.3 #024], i have search a lot but am confused about the the steps since my tablet still on Ice Cream sandwich 4.0.3 and unrooted, so can anyone guide me on the steps to install the room, do i have to root my device?

Please see the "sticky" threads in this forum where you posted this question. There is a guide to rooting your tablet. Yes, in order to install KatKiss you need to be rooted. Please see the link below.

I urge you not to rely too much on the guide that was posted, the razorclaw method no longer works.
I have a rooting guide here that is quite in depth and should get you going so long as you do not have a TF101G.

I've pointed out many times over the years that thread is obsolete and should be unsticky but it still is.

I asked again for it to be unstuck, and they finally unstuck it! I know we have both reported it at least once in the past, I guess enough squeaking and the wheel will get greased!

I tried these methods but unfortunately my tablet is above B70 sois not working, i have tried several ways to root my device but none has works so far, it seems am stuck with my original rom (

If you guys run into something like this, let me know. I am still around this section a bunch and use my TF daily.
@zak_2099 I suggest using EasyFlasher. Mine is a B70 as well, (is an SBK1) but once Wheelie was introduced, it didn't matter if SBK1 or SBK2. If you need any of the files that won't download for some reason, just let me know and I can upload them this weekend.

Rom wan't boot
Hi all.
Relly i wanted to ask this in development forum, but I can't to some posting restrictiions for new registered users. So i'll write here, may be someone have a solution.
I flashed No-name CM10.2 nightliy on my tf101g, but it wan't boot, just showing me asus splash and stops. I used ROM from this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2402752
Why can be like that? CM10.1 also from NoName running now ok, but 10.2 just wan't boot at all. So i tried some erlyer builds and got the same result. Flashing process finished without any errors.
And also, there is no builds about a month, why and where I can get them? Should I build it from git repo?

Unfortunately this is fresh off the press and does not have xposed baked in. Because of this, I am not able to tell you for sure yet, whether this is resolved or not. My guess is, since I didn't do anything to modify it for that issue, that it will still occur.

Does it only occure when exposed is installed? Because if its just that I'll freeze the app myself. Thanks for the quick reply!

Yeah. I used the one @autoprime uploaded, and the only time I had issues was with xposed. but I got that sorted out.

Flash this. It wipes the two apps that cause the issue. For now, smart circle (On lollipop) will not work with xposed.
edit: In a future update, I will either attempt to resolve the issue, or remove the two apps that cause the issue all together.

Having proximity issues on my CM 12.1 on my OPO...
Tried to flash 44S Modem and it does work but the proximity is the only sensor that working. (Rotation doesn't work at all and few other stuff)
Had 4.4.4 everything worked perfectly.
Have bug on Oxygen OS and on CM12S / CM12.1
The problem is when i'm having call the screen is total black and cannot turn it on.
When i downloaded CPU-Z, I saw on the sensors that TMG-3993 IR_Gesture & Proximity has no value at all or it says always 0.0 cm.
What should i do?
I'll mention it again. On CM11 S 4.4.4 everything worked just fine and im using TWRP 2.8.6.0
PLEASE HELP ME !! I'm stuck with this thing for a whole week and im going crazy already!!!

Maybe a full re-flash and returning to factory settings will get all relevant sensors working again. Give it a shot!

Hello,
My Moto g3's (xt1541) screen broke.
I've replaced it with a new one.
When i booted up my phone, it wont respond to any of my touches. Nothing.
I opened recovery (TWRP) and in TWRP, the touchscreen works fine!!!
How to make the touchscreen work again in Android? Or should i flash a new ROM?

I've read this thread. I've read all the threads on this subject. I wouldn't upload this question if it was answered before.
I am trying to find a fix for this, and not someone that says "buy an original screen", because the screen cost as much as my phone.
(I bought him for 99$, and the official screen+shipment+installation kit costs 105$, so no i won't buy an official screen.)

Did you flashed any custom kernel?
If yes then
Did that kernel supports double tap to wake up(dt2w) ?
If you did not flash that specific kernel then that's not a kernel problem?
Or something different problem

Try stock lollipop it may work.
Remember to skip flashing bootloader while downgrading to lollipop.
