You do give up the NFC..
"Notice:These batteries does not come with NFC (Near Field Communication) feature"
But not that it bothers me, interesting. No one has bothered to leave a review.

That comes with nfc

Has anyone bought and tested this battery?

They're not really that size, physics explains that one. Why not go to a true provider in extended batteries Mugen 6000mAh or 3100mAh along with a NFC door.
It's just like the infamous gold wrapper battery, recycled half dead batteries with the only thing new on them is a wrapper.

Verizon Will Offer Extended Battery for Samsung Fascinate

We know the device is close to launch – it’s no secret at this point. More inventory shots have cropped up, though, showing accessories for the device. Outside of the usual collection of chargers, cases, and screen protectors, We’re learning that Verizon will be offering a 2200mAh extended battery for the device – that’s compared to the 1500mAh that’ll come with it by default. As most other carriers haven’t offered official extended batteries for their Galaxy S devices, we’re wondering if one can walk into Verizon and buy one for the Fascinate to insert into their Vibrant, Captivate, or Epic 4G. Someone will try it in due time.

I await AllGamer's response and probable enthusiasm.
i'll definitely buy some if they stay in the same shape as they are
as in not requiring the change of the back cover
Will it need a different back cover?
Very interesting. New back plate would suck.
$50 bucks is not a bad deal, but I am waiting for photos because it says it comes with an extended battery door.

oh crap you are right, it does say "includes battery door"
eeewwwwwwwww noooooo why why why all the good battery sizes needs to change into a fat ugly battery door
Lithium Ion is not a magical technology. You can't stuff money into a battery and get more capacity without increasing the volume. Hence, extended battery covers. I'd actually like an extended battery cover that does away with the funky "hump" in favor of an pure flat-back.
Physics - they're not just rules, they're the LAW.
for those of us that have the international version, or the i9000m.
the i500's rear-end is different than ours.
that extended cover, would completely cover up our speaker. and there would be this gap right down from under the camera

[Q] Getting a New Battery

I've had my Galaxy S 4G for several months now, and recently the battery life has lessened during daily use.
I originally used a 1700mAh genuine Samsung battery (forgive me it may have been 1650), but switched over to some backup batteries I have that are 1500mAh.
The 1500's don't have the same life, so I'd like to buy something better.
I found a 2000mAh on eBay, but would that require a new battery door? The seller does not indicate the battery size. Is it possible to get a 2000mAh battery for my 4G S that is the same size as the original battery?
Any suggestions and response are appreciated. Thanks! - Jamie
as far as I know, there's only one fairly decent battery that will fit your phone as is. and that would be the 1800 mAh battery. there's a thread about it in the accessories section, you should look it up
Thanks for your suggestion. Doesn't seem to be the sort of question many want to answer.
They sell 1800mAh batteries on eBay for 2.99, so I think its worth a shot. I just don't want to get a battery that requires a new door, or makes my phone thicker.
Just saying, you get what you paid for. Honestly, IMO you should try to get the OEM samsung battery for the epic 4g touch, or ankler 1800mAh batteries. there was a battery thread somewhere around the vibrant accesories board which someone tested a bunch of batteries, and a lot of the cheaper off-brands had a lower mAh rating than advertised
We shall see. I actually ended up ordering a 2000mAh off eBay for 11.49. The battery was listed as a fit for my phone. I have actually had some good experience in the past buying third-party batteries, specifically for Motorola phone, but, I've also had poor experiences buying knock-off batteries for blackberries that were packaged to look like the genuine thing.
I'll post back, maybe in a week or so when the battery is delivered and I test it.

4350mAh Li-ion Replacement Battery

Hello guys, this battery is good?
http://www.tinydeal.com/pt/4350mah-...t-battery-for-samsung-galaxy-s5-p-123321.html
Bought and i'm waiting for it.
NO!
Dont ever buy gold batterys! there all fakes.
Try ankar or zerolemon
i have a 7500mah anker battery for my s5. it is beast. even on the first day of ownership of the anker battery, i noticed a huge increase in battery life. i highly recommend the anker 7500mah battery or zerolemon battery. both are reviewed with high ratings on amazon and the respective anker and zerolemon sites.

Yeah,Anker,Zerolemon and Onite batteries are very popular on Amazon.
It's 4 dollars. You have nothing to lose.
Except if it's really crap quality and it overheats and ends up shorting your device. Or even worse catching fire or something.
looking at the same battery right now.
Is it any good? better than stock battery? last longe, doesn't get hot... ?
The cells in those cheap batteries just aren't up to the job of high drain phones like the S5, so all you doing is risking the battery shorting or overheating and going pop inside your phone, so spend a few dollars extra and get an Anker battery because they are good.
And thinking about the capacity they pronounce you never ever will get even near 4000mAh or more mAh with a LiIon/Poly battery with the dimensions of the original S5 battery.
We had a thread here about MPJ replacement battery for the S5 (thread at xda, producers webshop) which should be a 4300mAh version. I only bought it in order to check the capacity because there was a big discussion on this. I checked it with a special computer driven battery charger and with the S5 itself. It had nearly the same capacity as my some month old original S5 battery. I cannot say anything about long term use because I only tested it for some weeks.
So my recommendation would be get an original battery directly from Samsung (in order to not get a fake) or look after Anker (I tested it good with my S3), Zerolemon, MPJ. They are more or less proved quality.

5380mAh battery for GS5A with the same size as the original. Opinions?

Hi guys
I was looking for replacement batteries for my Galaxy s5 active
I found the OEM, of course:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/112007844601
It has 2800 mAh
Then I found this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/261585921173
A generic "Best4Power" that claim to have 5380mAh, 2580 more than the original, in the SAME battery size.
What do you guys think? could it be too good to be true?
It's fake. If you're lucky it MIGHT be 3500mAh.
Don't bother looking for batteries that claim to be higher capacity that are the same size as the original Samsung battery. Alternatively you could always have a second battery and charge it directly using a pug in battery charger. Or another option is try the mutagen batteries but be warned they can be pretty expensive.
I see, I ended up buying a couple of OEM batteries. Thanks guys, thread can be locked.
If you maximum battery, check with Zerolemond to see if your phone will be compatible with the S5 series. I have been using their extended battery in my S5 since last August and it is working just fine. My wife, who has the same S5 and standard battery, has had to replace her already. I have their battery on my S5 and S4 with a backup purchase if my S5 battery finally dies.
I replaced mine with an original one, maybe not very good autonomy but I'm satisfied
dude, theres no way the "OEM" one is real. 9ish dollars is too cheap. I've seen some pretty good looking fakes. But there are a few ways to spot the difference. depth of contacts, having an NFC antenna, having engraving when the cover is peeled off, size of the metal part (can only tell when the cover is peeled off), general external quality and details are a few quick ways to tell. Bought one last week that was not a bad looking fake. But still fake nontheless. Nervous about putting it in my phone so just got a refund.
Better buy it a original then fake crap thats what i did.

Any suggestions from personal experience on which is the best battery replacement

I just replaced my original battery with a Max Baer high capacity battery at 3600mAh and it's just as bad as my old original battery. It's draining just as fast. I need to purchase another battery so anyone with experience with purchasing any batteries. If you can give me some advice on which one you bought and how well it did would be great cuz I would hate to buy another one after I buy this one, so any advice would be grateful. And theven MaxBeat high capacity battery was even rated higher than at 3600mAh and the original battery was 3200mAh or close to that number. so I would have thought that this max Baer battery would have done pretty good but it's as a right now not holding up to my standards I have to charge it like twice a day. Once again any suggestions would be greatly appreciate it thank you
Never heard of MaxBaer/MaxBeat or whatever it is - is it the same physical size as the original battery? If so, there is no way it can be 3600mAh. I wouldn't touch anything other than RavPower - as far as I'm aware there are no genuine Samsung ones left and Anker has stopped making them. RavPower: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072N5G4RB
I'm a ZeroLemon fan. Granted it makes the phone larger and people always comment on how large my phone is, though I have used phones as large as Red Bricks for work (Intermec) so it's small by comparison. I don't use the belt clip with it since I have cargo pockets.
Based on my personal experience, Stalion® Strength Note 4 Replacement Battery gives a great performance compared to the original for a normal (not extended battery) and sells at a very good price too. Also 4500mah Golden Battery though its performance is the same as a 3220mah Stalion but comes at a cheaper price.
I have got them from eBay.
I have tried Maxbear and powerbear, neither of which are any good in my experience. I also have two from anker and those were good but they're old now. I just this week bought an extended shenMZ 7500 mAh battery but that is not even lasting an entire day so I think it may have been sitting for a while. I think part of the problem may be that some of these batteries have been sitting in a warehouse for a long time unused. Somebody in this thread said that the RavPower batteries are still good. I also hear from another thread that the TQTHL extended 11800mah batteries are good as well. Has anybody bought a battery in the past few months that doesn't suck?
