[Completed] Unable to enter CWM recovery options after installing? - XDA Assist

Hi , I want to install custom rom of cyanogen-12.1 on my samsung galaxy grand I9082(current ver 4.2.2). So i downloaded all the necessary zip files required for the process. Then I successfully installed "CWM touch recovery" zip using odin software. After that i installed UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25 zip file using cwm touch interface and rebooted my device. After reebooting i checked that SuperSU app was there in my phone and i verified this with Root Checker also(it showing-Congrats! root access is properly installed on this device! ).
Now i want to install custom rom of cyanogen and gapps zip files. When i am pressing (power+vol up+home) button it showing "No Command" and in the background there is Android robot laying down with the red triangle and the exclamation mark "Error!" message and after some time samsung's recovery mode options are coming with heading on top "Android system recovery <3e>".
what are my options-
1. Do i need to remove/uninstall current SuperSU and cwm?
2. someone suggested that i need to install Fix-recovery zip file also. For this do i need to follow process again for cwm and fix-recovery both using odin or fix-recovery only.
I dont know what to do please suggest really stuck!!

Hi,
better to re-flash a custom recovery for your device. Found this > http://techglen.com/2014/01/01/install-cwm-6-on-xperia-l-c2104-c2105-locked-unlocked-bootloader/
it seems to have a link for cwm for your device.
Hope it helps.

[Q] How to install CWM on rooted Galaxy Core?

Hi All,
I would like to request all the senior developers and supporters to read completely the issue I am facing and suggest me what should I do to resolve the issue.
I have rooted the device using Framaroot (downloaded the .apk file and installed on device and then run) and checked with Root Checker and found that it is rooted. Restarted once and saw the exclamation on boot screen which confirmed that it's rooted. Now my next job was to install custom ROM but everywhere I found that, phone must be rooted and CWM installed using ODIN. Here comes the issue:
My device is not booting (volume down+Home+Power) for installing CWM via ODIN.
Any other option to install CWM andtake the device to recovery mode and then upgrade it with available custom ROM?
Help me bro.

[Q] Urgently need help please help me

Hi, i just bought a Lenovo A526. After a few readings i tried to root my cell with few apps. I only managed to root it by using Kingo Root & I root. Unfortunately when i tried to install CWM/TWRP recovery i can't install from zip and even do backup. Then i go through the recovery & noticed that my emmc & sd is not mounted. I also tried to install CWM through MTK Droid Tools but also no luck. The indicator at the bottom is Blue or yellow. While an error " adbd files not installed: also popup when i press "Root".
Now i really want to know how to install CWM/TWRP recovery, properly root my device & flashing either MIUI Rom or Lollipop Rom. I really hope you guys can help me.

I have a Samsung Galaxy s Dous GT-S7562 Then i wanted to root it Using RootKit...After Successed Root Process I Get an idea...That i Have To Flash CWM Recovery on My Phone...So..I decided To use Flashify app
After I Used They Have an Options:
-Boot img.
-Recovery Download.
-Flash any Thing.
In the Matter Of Fact i choosed The First One and I selected the Recovery Image That i already download before.
after a while my phone ask me to restart...i pressed OK....Then My Phone Restarted...Since that time my phone Just Show The Welcome Screen"Samsung Galaxy GT-S7562" No thing Else...Can't Open Cant Get in Download Mode OR recovery mode... :crying:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. You've chosen the wrong option from the menu. A boot.img is a kernel, so selecting that option writes to the boot partition, which means you've selected a recovery to be written to your boot partition (this is not good). The correct option to choose would have been recovery download. I'd suggest you check out this thread:

Good luck!
