I tested, and other users to, and we fell that it works. :good:
The file is im going to share is power_profile.xml that, in kitkat ROM , we can find ( in my case) in /cust/vodafone/pt/xml , i changed the the values of power in multiple items , one of the items is Wifi.
Here is the tutorial to apply it.
You need to have root , do download from the file, copy with the Root Browser to ( in my case) /cust/vodafone/pt/xml , check if you have rw-r--r--, if not press and hold the file , a window will pop up , go to permissions , select all in read and in write Owner only, will appears 644, save it and then just restart .

I have rooted my M2 and i made mistake and uninstalled some system apps. I fought wipe would help but instead that it is worst. I don't have maybe some app and after wipe i see only unlock screen and can't do anything. Also i can't get to system files because wipe turned-off debugging mode in usb connection.
So I need some backup rom(Europe/UK/DE) with original system applications and information how to restore it. It is possible?
you can use rsd lite and one of these firmware
http://and-developers.com/sbf:milestone2
I used second from up because this link only works
It is DE beacause german is default, but i had just the same.
For others:
1. Power off phone
2. Up (on keyboard) + power button to open bootloader
3. Connect with usb cable
4. Start flashing
Thank you for help
The BRAZILIAN link is down. Error 404.
Someone knows where to download?
I just relised that in second rom buttons Y and Z are replaced so I found how to rapair it:
1. First you need root your phone ex. with z4root (go to google)
2. Install some manager with root acces ex. Super Manager
3.This is default file /system/usr/keylayout/qwerty.kl (for all devices) with key mapping but in my milestone 2 it was another with name umts_milestone2-keypad.kl
4.We have to replace Y and Z in this file.
5.ATTENTION!!! IF you copy file and then paste and raplace it with edited file it my have difrent acces permission so be sure that this file has rw-r--r-- If you dont set first rw like ---rwxrwx phone won't be able to read file and all buttons won't be working(bottom screen buttons too!!!, only power will work)ATTENTION!!! but don't wory i was be able to set permission without using any key but only screen
6.Reboot phone
I downloaded the Backup System Apps from here ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1209425
I put the DeskClok.apk on the sd card then I tryed to install, but it give me an error ..
how do I install this or any other APK into the system/app folder ?
is this okey to install on Galaxy Gio 2.2.1 FROYO ???
What is the error? because that helps give you an answer.
Do you have your settings to allow installs from outside the market?
Go to settings, applications, Unkown sources and tick the box.
What error are u getting?
I'm getting this error .. "error analysis ... there is a problem with the analysis package"
(don't know if its well translated .. I'm portuguese, so I get the error in portuguese)
I put it on the SD card .. clik in it and it give me this error ..
It probably said problem parsing the package. It maybe that that file is corrupted so look for a different one and try it.
well .. that was the only one I find here .. for galaxy gio
I accidentally deleted my DeskClock.apk ... I tried to search for it but none are the original clock for gio ...
I hoped this was the one .. don't you know how can I get the original DeskClock.apk for GIO 2.2.1 Froyo ??
Ok let me see what I can do.
thanks a lot
i'll be waiting for a reply !!

You can even download from your phones browser to make it easier. Just make sure you have unknown apps checked.
thanks a lot ..
i'll try it now ..
Just hit the thanks button if I helped its a non-dev like me got.
System apps are not signed, so they cannot be installed through the normal way. You'll need Root Explorer or another root level file explorer. EStrongs File Explorer is free - you may need to enable root access in settings. I highly recommend getting Root Explorer if you can. It's on sale for $.99 in the Amazon App Store and possibly in the market. I purchased it from the market so I can't see the price right now.
Anyway, I'll give you the directions with Root Explorer, but they may be a little different with another app. Navigate to where you have the apk on your SD card. Long-press on the apk and select copy, then use the up level button (at the top of the folders, marked as "... " ) until you can't go any further. You'll be at the root directory of your phone. Open the system folder and select "mount r/w" near the top left, then app (you'll be in /system/app) and select the paste button. Long-press on the deskclock.apk and select "permissions" from the menu. Mark it so it looks like this:
Read Write
Read
Read
Then reboot your phone & it should be there.
Alternatively, you could reflash your rom without wiping data to get the app back. Reflashing will override any changes you've made to the system, and any apps you've deleted will need to be deleted again. Good luck!

DOWNLOAD FIX ARCHIVE http://www.4shared.com/rar/AF266kS1/..._wifi_FIX.html
(ALL ARCHIVES TESTED FOR VIRUS AND OTHER MALICIOUS AND IS SAFE) A V A S T
You need a good file explorer (I use rootexplorer)
Aprox 10 minutes of time.
-extract zip to sdcard
-TURN OFF WIFI
-open root explorer go to /data/misc/
AND DELETE WIFI FOLDER
1 . FROM EXTRACTED FOLDER
COPY /LIB folder AND copy /paste all (4) files to -- /system/lib/ (and replace existing)
THEN GIVE THEM (4) , PERMISSION RW-R-R each (FROM EXPLORER SELECT PERMISSIONS)
2 .GO TO SYSTEM FOLDER: /SYSTEM/WIFI/ ON YOUR SYSTEM PARTITION AND DELETE ALL FILES/FOLDERS
3 .GO AGAIN TO zip EXTRACTED FOLDER and COPY/PASTE ALL STUFF FROM /WIFI FOLDER To -- /SYSTEM/WIFI/
FINALLY GIVE TO ALL FILES RW-R-R PERMISSION ON /SYSTEM.WIFI/ AND FOR FOLDERS(2) RWXR-XR-X
REBOOT
NOW YOUR WIFI MUST BE PERFECT

I solved the problem with this method published on another website:
"
Press these menu options on your phone: Settings > Wi-fi> (Choose your network by tapping on it for a few seconds) > Modify network config
Check "Show advanced options"
Choose IP Settings: "Static"
Enter these details
IP - 192.168.1.253 or 195.168.1.253 (I chose 192.168.1.253)
Gateway - 192.168.1.1 (I chose 192.168.1.1 since that's my router address)
NPL - 24
Netmask - 255.255.255.0 (I could not find this option)
DNS 1 - 8.8.4.4 or 8.8.8.8 (I had the latter by default and let it stay)
DNS 2 - 4.4.4.4
And save.
It just connected in a few milliseconds. "

HelP!
Hello Friend, can you please leave the links link? They are fallen and I want to solve the problem
Hello . I have a chinese tablet NX007HD8G .
The navigation bar ( back , home , recent) buttons are gone .
I tried a backup from the same device but it did not work .
I also tried copying the same /system/app and /system/data/data folders to my tablet but still did not work . Does somebody know how to fix this ?
You need to have root access on your device.
Install Root Explorer or ES File Explorer or any file manager with which you can access the system partition.
Open your preferred file manager and mount the system partition as read-write in stead of read only.
Grant superuser access when it prompts.
Go to the system folder present in the root of file system. i.e the path- /system
Now open the file *“build.prop” in any Text Editor. For Root Explorer users, long click on “build.prop” file and tap on “Open with Text Editor”. (Before editing this file, for a safety, copy this file to the external memory card and save as a backup.)
Now add the following line to this file at the end:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Save and Exit.
Now reboot your device.
Voila! You now have navigation bar on your device!
Press Thanks if I helped!
So this was quit the headache at first. I could not download install any app was getting insufficient storage error. I worked on the problem most of the day and could not find a guide to help me solve the problem.
I finally after hours figures it out and it's super simple. This is only for rooted users though.
1) download or use your favorite root browser es file browser works I prefer Rom toolbox myself.
2) locate googleserviceframework.apk and note the version of your framework file and then delete it. Path to file is /system/priv_apps/
3) navigate to a web browser type in googleserviceframwork.apk followed by the version number mine ended in 038.
4) search for a suitable download
5) navigate to your download folder find the apk and copy it and and renavigate your way back to /system/priv_app/ and paste file. Change permissions to rw r r and then reboot device.
6) go to play store and update any system or Google apps. EverythingEverything should download and install fine now.
Do not forget to get the proper framework file or more problems Will arise from the process of installation.
I take no responsibilitie for problems that arise but I shall help in any way possible if needed. If this helped u then give a thanks :good:.
If this is made elsewhere then by all means delete it but I searched for hours and could not find a suitable solution.
Cheers and have a good day.
