There are threads libt9.so goes in lib folder and the apk in app folder. There are tons of threads that show how to do this,I see this being closed quick.
maybe, but when i try im getting a messege saying that it cant be installed on my phone.
You put the libt9.so in lib folder in system folder and then installed the app?

You have to push the files using adb, not install them with adb or a file manager on the device.
as manup said,
libt9.so goes in /lib
and the apk goes in app dir

installing the htc_ime.apk
1. get the htc_ime.apk file
2. get a file explorer (OI, ASTRO, or any file explorer)
3. put the htc_ime.apk on the root of or sdcard or somewhere in ur sdcard where u can find it
4. go to Settings->Application
5. check the unknown sources feature
6. go to ur file explorer
7. tap on the apk file, it should give u an install option
8. follow the instructions and install it.
9. if its not showing even if its checked on the locale/text settings, then go and long press on any text box, and it should give u an Input method selection, select the Touch input radio button, then ur done.
if u wanna do it via adb, you can try and look up instructions, but this is the easiest way i can think of and i made the instructions as clear as i can.
thanks man
Weird i seem to install but when i start to use it .it force closes all the time !!!

I downloaded the Backup System Apps from here ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1209425
I put the DeskClok.apk on the sd card then I tryed to install, but it give me an error ..
how do I install this or any other APK into the system/app folder ?
is this okey to install on Galaxy Gio 2.2.1 FROYO ???
What is the error? because that helps give you an answer.
Do you have your settings to allow installs from outside the market?
Go to settings, applications, Unkown sources and tick the box.
What error are u getting?
I'm getting this error .. "error analysis ... there is a problem with the analysis package"
(don't know if its well translated .. I'm portuguese, so I get the error in portuguese)
I put it on the SD card .. clik in it and it give me this error ..
It probably said problem parsing the package. It maybe that that file is corrupted so look for a different one and try it.
well .. that was the only one I find here .. for galaxy gio
I accidentally deleted my DeskClock.apk ... I tried to search for it but none are the original clock for gio ...
I hoped this was the one .. don't you know how can I get the original DeskClock.apk for GIO 2.2.1 Froyo ??
Ok let me see what I can do.
thanks a lot
i'll be waiting for a reply !!
Ok considering deskclock a standard app here's a link download one of these apk's to see if it works try the newest ones first.
http://search.4shared.com/search.html?searchmode=2&searchName=deskclock+apk
You can even download from your phones browser to make it easier. Just make sure you have unknown apps checked.
thanks a lot ..
i'll try it now ..
Just hit the thanks button if I helped its a non-dev like me got.
System apps are not signed, so they cannot be installed through the normal way. You'll need Root Explorer or another root level file explorer. EStrongs File Explorer is free - you may need to enable root access in settings. I highly recommend getting Root Explorer if you can. It's on sale for $.99 in the Amazon App Store and possibly in the market. I purchased it from the market so I can't see the price right now.
Anyway, I'll give you the directions with Root Explorer, but they may be a little different with another app. Navigate to where you have the apk on your SD card. Long-press on the apk and select copy, then use the up level button (at the top of the folders, marked as "... " ) until you can't go any further. You'll be at the root directory of your phone. Open the system folder and select "mount r/w" near the top left, then app (you'll be in /system/app) and select the paste button. Long-press on the deskclock.apk and select "permissions" from the menu. Mark it so it looks like this:
Read Write
Read
Read
Then reboot your phone & it should be there.
Alternatively, you could reflash your rom without wiping data to get the app back. Reflashing will override any changes you've made to the system, and any apps you've deleted will need to be deleted again. Good luck!

Thanks a lot .. your tutorial about root explorer is really explicit .. I dindn't know it would be that easy .. i'll purchase and try it now
About Reflashing ...
what is it ?
how can i do it ?
He probably talk about to reflash your stock rom as i linked u in your other thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16810804&postcount=8 in second post of that thread is explain how to flash your samsung.
I just installed the latest JB file from CM10, as announced on the site. The installation went smoothly, and without any problem. However, in the instructions provided, there was a link to the Google Apps for this version, named gapps-jb-20120717-signed.zip. I also downloaded the file, and it is also put under /sdcard on my tablet. But I can't install this zip file. I have CWM version 5.8.3.1 installed, which seemed to work fine with this CM JellyBean. I am getting an error message about the zip file when trying to install the Google Apps file mentionned above. On the announcement page with the links to download the files, they only give the links to the two -signed.zip files. I assumed that both zip files should be installed the same way, but it appears they are not. Can anyone help me ?
NB: I use the Samsung Docking station/keyboard. Anyone had any issue with this before ?
Thank
Extract the apk's from the zip folder and install them normally! Few apps won't install this way. Put those apk's in "system/app" and change the permission to rw-r--r--
Reboot your phone and the apps should be there!

Bad file
Although the file was pointed properly in the page, the actually downloaded file had a mad MD5 checksum, which was not displayed on the download link, only on the download page. I also noticed that after restarting, I had a strange display, where instead of having the default green wallpaper, I was having lines of random color bars. Another reboot, and it now seems to be fine again.
I also mentioned that I have this Samsung keyboard that attaches to the tablet, and has a replication port. The keys on the top, like Back, Home, etc, seem to work only half the time. More testing will be required on this.
Good Idea !

That's an idea, and I will also look at this. I guess this is what will give me the Google Apps program so I can re-download and/or reinstall the programs that I used to have under HoneyComb 3.2.
Thanks. I will try this too. :
I searched over internet but didn't find any of the working method for installing sqlite3, So, i thought to write a tutorial on this.
There are some apps which require sqlite3 to work as for example the famous Xpose module "WhatsappX". So, here we go.
Requirements:- Root access, Xpose framework installed, Titanium Backup, any root explore (Es file explore recommended).
Step1:- Download and install Titanium Backup From Google play.
Step2:- Launch Titanium Backup and then exit the app.
Step3:- Launch Es file explorer and go to "device/data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/files/" Now, copy "sqlite3". And go to "device/system/xbin/" Now, Paste "Sqlite3" here.
Step4:- set file permission to "-rwxr-xr-x".
Step5:- just reboot your device. Your sqlite3 is installed now.
*I know there are some apps which can install sqlite3 but for me they don't work at all. I tried this method on Micromax Unite 3, running on lollipop 5.0 and it is working. Hit the thank button if you find this useful.
Thanks buddy, will try and hope it works for me.
Simple install and works perfect. Cherrs.

For me, it doesn't work.
Can you help me?
What's the problem?
Hello! Thanks for your guide! But I have a question: what is the number for "-rwxr-xr-x" permission? Thanks
I have solved! Thank you in every way
IT WORKED!!!!
I tried everything to install sqlite3 with and without different apps and it didn't work. I followed your your steps and got sqlite3 working on my phone in less than an 30 minutes. Thanks.
Works just perfect. Thank you for this tip.
Where to find the sqlite3 file?
Where do I find that sqlite3 file to copy into the folder?
Copy failed
I tried copying but it is saying "copying failed"
"Cannot copy"
HI.
Two problems here:
1) I don't have the folder named "xbin", I have a call "bin"
2) where or how do I change the "file permission"?
please tell me how can I do in my Pixel2Xl Android10? Follow your step I can't find folder "xbin" in system an can't build new folder, how can I do?

Do these procedures at your own risk
So after following this procedure, is the play store supposed to just show up in the list of apps? No installation or anything?
Works!
Thank you very much. I have the SNBJR-MT5C 8GB version, which I brought from Aliexpress.
A number of things dont work as I am not located in the USA so could not enter billing information, so many of the built in apps dont work at all.
Device Rooted.
Installed the files, and Google Play works! It asked me to create/use a google account, all looking good so far!!
Thank you!
Only thing left is to figure out how to remove/hide some of the built in apps in Nabi mode which are not appropraite for my kid, or are too advanced etc, or dont work due to billing issue.

Well, to do this uninstall you may use some apps available on playstore like 'es file manager' or 'titanium backup'; the ones I use most for this task.
The problem is that I do not have much luck on restoring deleted apps afterwards on this device.
You should try to disable the app on Android Apps settings before attempt to delete them.

Bit of help
Hi,
I just picked up two of the 8 gig models for my boys. I want to get the google app store going on both so i can get the nick jr app on there. I would love to flash the nabi jr nickelodeon edition on here if possible, not sure if it is. I'd like to follow this guide. Any problems if i follow this guide and then do a system update via nabi update, or should i disable that?
I'd be willing to provide any stock files if that would help make a recovery? Should I do twrp to make a backup for myself anyways?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Kutas

This procedure will not install TWRP, just play store.
It will not allow to flash another nabi rom.
By the way, since it is a different processor, they are not compatible.
We would need to port TWRP to this device and compile an specific kernel for this device...
This made my kid very happy.

I know this is an old thread with nobody paying attention to it anymore but I just revisited this topic to try again. Followed instructions (I'm pretty sure correctly). Good new is I do have play store in the list of apps but when I try to login to my Google account it just immediately gives the message "there was a problem communicating with Google servers" or something like that. Any idea what the problem might be.
