OblyTile Does'nt Work For Me

I recently install OblyTile and none of the tiles I create display in the right manner. The all blue tile in the screen shot is one I created with OblyTile. They all come out the same way. Please help if you have any suggestions. Thanks.

Be sure to use the latest version (You can download it from Here), also be sure to use Png files with a resolution of 120x120 and a file size not bigger than 200kb.

How do I open xlxs files

Just 1 issue When I try to use it to open an xlxs file it opens a xlxs blank/new page?
Works fine for other files and folders , just seems to be xlxs files.
I'm not fluent with programing ( in fact I'm stupid when it comes to programming) and have seen there is a box to input program arguments? should I be inputting some information here?

I'm using 512x512 icons and they also work like a charm so that shouldn't be a problem.

Sir, I've successfully created the tile. and it appears on my Start.. .When i Click it Nothing Happen.. .
I've Create a tile of a Google Chrome and other applications, but when i click it Nothing Happens.
Google Chrome path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

I'm using the same tile also directing to the same path. And it works for me.
What happens if you browse to the directory and open chrome.exe manually? Technically it does the same.
You could also try to check "Run as Administrator" and even try what happens if you fil in for example; google.com in the "Program Arguments" (Chrome should open with google.com)
You could even check (i'm not sure if this has changes the way how OblyTile works) if UAC (User Account Control) is off.
Make sure that you are using the last version (i'm not allowed to post a link)
Please let me now if this worked out for you.

I've browse the chrome directory and open the chrome.exe manually and it open the chrome.
I've try to create a tile and check the "Run as Administrator" and also fill the "Program Arguments" with "google.com" but nothing happens again. It only display the tiles on the start but it is not Opening the chrome.
I also try to create a Tile with a path of a Folder, and it is not working too.it doesnt open the folder that I've locate in the Path.. .
I've Tried to off the UAC and nothing happens.
I'm Using the Last Version of OblyTile.. .
Any other solution???

Mmm the only thing i can think about is maybe there's an anti virus which is blocking something. You could try turning it off.
What if you remove all tiles (r. mouse unpin from start) and clear all data in C:\Program Files\OblyTile and try adding new tiles?
If this also isn't working then maybe "Argony-OT" can help you out.

.I also delete all the folders inside the OblyTile.. .
.By the way, Im Using Windows 8 Single Language..
.Some said the OblyTile works Only on Windows 8 Pro and windows 8 Enterprise..
.Is that True??

Tested on:
Windows 8 Professional Build 9200 - 32/64 Bit
Windows 8 Enterprise Build 9200 - 32/64 Bit
So probably that's your problem.
Maybe Argony-OT can confirm this?

This is happening to me too. It happened once a long time ago and I was able to fix it by running Oblytile and rebuilding the cache. No such luck this time though

OblyTile program browser can't see .EXE
Hello forum,
I got OblyTile and love it so far. I have run into an odd situation though. I am trying to make a new tile for Microsoft Snipping Tool. When i use file explorer I can see that the .exe is located at:
C:\Windows\System32
But when i use the "Choose File" option under "Program Path" the "snipping tool.exe" file is not displayed in the file explorer launched by OblyTile. I looked at the properties of the .exe and compared it to similar .exe's in the same directory like control.exe (control panel) and did not see any glaring differences.
Could someone help me figure out why "snipping tool.exe" does not show up when browsing for file path in OblyTile?

Process
Here's the process:
?Download the zip.
?Extract the zip to find a .so file.
?Go to Downloads folder in your main storage and create a folder called "KMP"
?Move the .so file to KMP folder.
?Restart KMP.

Hey, I am also KM Player user.
Keep libvlcjni.so in both /sdcard/KMP and /sdcard/Download.

It wil work, just extract the .so file in Downloads folder directly(not in KMP folder) and restart kmp

Thanks, but it wasn't working. The Original instructions didn't say to extract the .so file. (The MAME arcade emulator doesn't, so I assumed this was the same way.) Later I noticed someone said to extract it. It still didn't work. Double-checked to make sure it was in the right folder. Anyone have a workaround for MKV files? TIA.

When I Try to load subtitle file .it gives the error that .File is not in valid format. (SRT,however the same subtitle file is running smoothly on
my PC with VLC PLAYER.

Would you upload log file immediately after refreshing video list?
Log can be gathered from Menu > Help > Bug report > Check 'save to a file'.

1. Just press the refresh button on the top of the list screen.
2. When it finishes goto menu >> Help >> Bug Report
3. Check "save to file" in order to save the log files in your device

I am not sure if it is possible to extract files from Kindle fire. If it is not possible, you can send log through email. Please send to [email protected] in this case.

One thing that does work, tried yesterday, is cleaning junk files with clean master (in my case). I will try it again with new soon to be old folders and confirm.

It might not actually be a fault with mx player. When I use opera mini to download files then delete them they still appear(0.00kb) mx. The only fix is to delete download history from opera mini. :good:

Adda247 Video Decryption

I had downloaded some videos from official Adda247 learning app but i unable to play these videos in any other Player except adda247 due to Some kind of stupid extension (.EXO)
So, i go to the website and try to download videos from their but it also doesn't work.
Fortunately, I downloaded some PDF file with the help of [Developers Tool > Network > xhr]
I tried the same process for the videos .. it gave me ".m3u8" playlist file .
i downloaded every single file from m3u8 with the help of Jdownloader which gave me .TS format files (more than 100)
I merged all the parts by using this command line copy /b *.ts Video.mp4
And still the videos are now playing.
