Ringing profiles

I am looking for a way to quicly change my ringing profiles for situations like going into a meeting(Just Vibrate) or driving(Vibrate and Ring loud).
Is there an application that would work on a TD2? and not be an eyesore?
Ringing Profiles - app
Try sbsh phone-weaver or PWM, both are working on Topaz
(tried them also on 3600 and ELF, also working there very comfortable)
Regards
isn't it easy enough to just press volume keys and select de volume desired with a finger-touch? also there are buttons for silent/vibrate/ring.

Dear crisagatie,
the user was asking - I only wanted to give a hand - one thing to mention, especially to U:
Both of the recommended apps give you much more possibilities to controll not only your ringing-profiles but you CAN set time-scheduled switches - not only for rings but much, much more. Crisagatie - check out first and post after, thxs and regards
why are you so defensive? my reply was for savagezaing, not to you, he only asked for an app to quickly change ringing profiles, not an advanced app. nobody said the apps you proposed are no good, it was just a question to clarify things. you are being arrogant and I really don't understand what did I do to deserve this kind of treatment. maybe you should take your signature more seriously. sorry to everybody for off-topic, I left this thread.

Exactly, there is a app where there ar two extra buttons are added, the + and - button.
Check http://www.pocketmax.net/phoneAlarm.html.
The lite version offers profile changes.
One of the several available skins might fit your needs!?

Create GPSSetup2 Shortcut on Homescreen (Needs Launcher Pro)

Guide to create GPSSetup2 shortcut on the homescreen. First you'll have to download and install the homescreen and launcher replacement LauncherPro (Attached, link at the bottom). Then, follow these steps.
1. Press the center key on the phone. You'll get two options on the screen: 'LauncherPro' and 'TwLauncher'. Select LauncherPro. Let LauncherPro load.
2. Now again press the center key and this time select TwLauncher.
3. After it loads, press and hold your finger on an empty spot on the screen.
4. In the list that pops out, select Shortcuts.
5. Then select Activities.
6. After a few seconds you'll get a long list of Applications. Scroll down to GPSSetup2. Touch GPSSetup2, it'll expand to show more options. From this expanded list, select the first option i.e GPSSetup2 (com.sec.android.app.GPSSetup2.GpsSetup).
7. That's it. You'll now have a shortcut to GpsSetup2 on the homescreen.
8. After this is done, simply go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications and uninstall Launcher Pro if you don't want to use it.
9. If you do want to use it, press the center key, tick 'Use by default for this action', then press 'LauncherPro' (Much better than the Samsung Launcher and homescreen, except for the less colorful icons).
That's it. No need to enter that long code anymore to enter GPSSetup2 everytime..
10x m8 this really helps
Wow this actually works! thanks a lot man. much appreciated!

You can add a GPSSetup2 shortcut to your homescreen. You'll need Launcher Pro installed. It's not necessary to use it as your launcher, but it needs to be installed to be able to get the Activities list in shortcuts that can be placed on the homescreen.
To do this, long press (on an empty area) on the homescreen, select Shortcuts, then Activities. After a few seconds you'll get a long list of Applications. Scroll down to GPSSetup2. Touch GPSSetup2, it'll expand to a list. From this list, select the first option i.e GPSSetup2 (com.sec.android.app.GPSSetup2.GpsSetup).
This will create a shortcut for GPSSetup2. No need to enter that long code anymore..
After you create the shortcut on the homescreen, you can uninstall Launcher Pro if you don't use it..

[APP] customize home double tap

[DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT MY APP. I'm just spreading the word]
Thought I'd post this here for any Note users as myself who never use the home button double tap and wanted control over it.
It's dirt simple and works as it should so far.

If you use it be sure to give Thanks to the Dev, and not me!
Cheers.

[Q] ICS multitasking invoker?

Hi, is there an app that would creat a tapable icon on your homescreen which could be used to invoke the multitasking overlay? something like statusbar expander but instead of statusbar it would invoke the multitasking. Is there anything like this out there?
May I ask why? I thought tap and holding the home button was already simple enough and easier to use
Yeah, I don't understand why you would want to do this :\
You want an action icon on your homescreen that opens the recent apps list?
I understand why you'd want that.
I almost never use the multi-tasking feature. Using the home button it takes too long to open to be really useful.
If there was an onscreen button as on the Nexus, I'd probably use it more often.
However, the screen of the S is too small for such a bar.
Ideally I'd love to open the multitasking menu by double tapping the home button. Would this be possible?
you can use search key instead..

Great! Just what I need. Thanks

Screenshot editing

When I take a screenshot using the s pen I am given another screen to edit/crop etc the screenshot. I don't see that editor when I use the screenshot button on the bottom tool bar. Is there a way to edit a photo or a screenshot like that after the fact?
I'd like to take a few screenshots using the button at the bottom tool bar. Then, go back in one by one and edit them. But I am not sure how to bring up the little editing tool.
I know there are other tools, like the photoshop, but all I need to do is quick crops and little notes and save. It is perfect for what need.

I know that you can edit in different apps by going to the gallery and pulling up the screen shot folder, then selecting one of the shots. Try it out.
Porthole, same question! If you will know how to do it, please, update this thread
Try long-pressing the screenshot button.
It works for me.
The easiest way to do it would be to do a new screenshot whenever You want to edit any photo oder already screenshooted screenshot with the stylus ......................
davp, if I long press the screenshot button it just makes another screenshot

Im not entirely sure im understanding.
if i want to edit a particular screen i.e edit as soon as i take the screenshot, i can either do it with the pen and button longpress, OR, i long press the screenshot button on the taskbar, which both methods leads me straight to edit, whereas a short press on the taskbar button just takes the screenshot and no edit
Are you saying, that when you push the task bar button, it take two screenshots, in which the second one goes to the edit funtion, becuase if so, its not how my one does it, actually im gonna doulble check that to be sure. Edit, nope, doesnt do it on mine
Sorry, im having a bad comprehension day today
Edit, ok after re reading the thread i think i understand
You dont need to do two screenshots with the taskbar button, when you,ve found what you want to screenshot, longpress the taskbar screenshot button until the edit screen comes up,, no need to take two screenshots, as this method takes you to edit first time
Nope I can take screenshot with simple editor tools on top by two ways:
1. Hold S-Pen button and long-tap the screen
2. Hold the screenshot button in menu
After any of this operations I will have screenshot with editing tools. After that I edit some stuff and press SAVE. But if I want to add something AFTER THAT, I can't open this "simple editor" again. I should made another screenshot on top of it and so on.. Sorry for my bad english, but I think you should understand me.

Nah, your english is fine my friend, its my comprehension skills that are laxx.
I understand now, at least i hope i do, and i dont think our tab can re re edit as far as i know, the only way i can see doing what i think your asking is to open the snote app and edit what you can from there, but its not as good for what your asking in my opinion
These are all great ideas. I didn't know about the long press on the tool bar button. Still, it would be nice to know how to open this program after the fact. If anyone figures this out, please post.

Wow. My post disappeared. Posted this last night - you can use the gallery or any other picture explorer to open the screen shots folder and edit them from there.
Hopefully a dev extracts that editor somehow...
