I got a update on my Zenfone 5 A501CG[lollipop 5.0] On 31 May'15 . But The Update Failed with a Error In Android System Recovery
Things I have tried:-
~Factory Reset
~Wipe Cache Partition
~Manually Downloaded Firmware From Official Site[But got The Same Error Again]
I have Attached Images of The Error I m Getting
Please Respond With A Helpful Solution.I ll be Highly Thankful
PS-I have fully Unrooted My android[Which was previously Rooted] Including BusyBox,Locked Bootloader
I m getting updates OTA but still getting this error while installing Update
update Firmware Downloaded From ASUS Website:- Version WW_3.23.40.52(android L 5.0)
Current Firmware:-WW-2.21.40.44-user(android kitkat 4.4)

As far as my opinion you are facing this issue because you have rooted the cellphone in past.
But brother - After unroot the device you can make fool of service center peoples but you can't fool android system.
Hope you understand what i am trying to say.
So just go to service center and get update.

I got lolipop system update notification for my Nexus 5 16GB today. After downloading the update when it goes to installing, it shows "Error!" during the install and comes out of the process. And gets reverted back to old android 4.4.4. Any idea how to fix the issue ??

If you revived the Update Congo , But if Other Karbonn Sparkle V Users Who did not find the update coming on their device [OFFICIAL] :angel: can follow the simple steps which i did. :good: PS - It may or may not be possible for all users.
Steps Are as Follows :fingers-crossed:
1. Restart the phone.
2. Take a backup.
3. Do the Factory reset from Settings > Backup and Restore > Factory Reset Phone.
4. Add Your Personal Details.
5. Connect to A WIFI. [ Recommended - and Compulsory ]
6. Go to the Phone Settings > About Phone > and Check for the update.
And You Got the Update. :good::good:
You'll receive the Update, As it Worked For me. :victory:

Yesterday I tried to update my Karbonn Sparkle V OS to 5.1, but after installation my phone is not booting. I tried to start in recovery mode but nothing happened.

I have problem updating my generally new Samsung SCH-I415 Stratosphere 2. I got an update package ZIP, that has been downloaded by Phone form Verizon directly. I took it to my SD card and tried to flash from stock recovery, but it has status 7 error. Phone was probably rooted before and now, on welcome screen, it shows unlocked padlock above Custom notification. I have managed to make system status to normal, but it didn't changed much - still got status 7 error. Is there any option to flash/install this update.zip on that phone? There is no firmware available for this model, no custom ROM or recovery. Please help :/
PS is there any modification to do in update.zip that I could make, to run it propely? I have found that in update-script I should remove some assert line, but when I have done that, it says ZIP signature failed.

Damn. I have downloaded updates from verizon and tried to flash again that firmware. Now I got "firmware upgrade encountered an error". Is there any chance to fix it/or get into recovery to factory reset?

i rebranded my FRD-L19C900B141 to FRD-L19 with the help of re branding guide. i was then able to receive update of 1.3 GB which was apparently a mistake to do. i updated , it went smoothly but then now i'm missing Update Option and feature like smart key. i tried to flash recovery now, and it says remote command cannot be executed. i have frp and phone both unlocked and fastboot and adb both are detecting the device. Please Help

yes , U did a mistake after re-brand you had to receive the 2.2 GB update , this occurs because you didn't dload the official firmware of EMUI 4.1 after re-brand .and currently your build number will be in NRDM test keys . you wont receive any update , lacks of lot of feature , phone hangs a lot and drains .
So, do a thing just rollback to mash-mellow EMUI 4.1 FRD-L19C432B131 and from there make sure you are getting the update more than 2 GB ,if not just dload again the official firmware of B131 and again reset and see this time you will definitely get the right package .

I tried , I got an update of package 3.4 GB , then when I updated it , same thing happened. It's again on NRDM

Well , the reason I was not able to flash again with error , remote command not allowed was somehow the phones bootloader was not unlocked when it was showing unlocked. So unlocked the bootloader again and flashed the recovery.
About all the features , I had to reset the firmware from with in the settings , it deleted the os. So then I went to recovery and flashed official FRD-L19C432B131 and then I got the update of 2.4 GB in update update app, 2.4 GB is the correct one, not the 1.4 or 3.4. after updating I'm quite happy now. :laugh:
Hello everyone. i would really appreciate if anyone could tell me how to update my zenfone 3 ze520kl. I mean i have tried doing it manually but it was aborted because it says "cant install this package on device version less than 14.2020.1712.85" etc etc. I have marshmallow in my phone currently. But i want to update it to oreo. I even tried to update my phone from marshmallow to naugat but it failed again.. On checking for update it is not showing any update so i had to try manually. Please help.
