Leather Sleeve for S6 - Galaxy S6 Accessories

I've got a Spigen Neo Hybrid case for my Galaxy S6, and after chucking on a tempered glass onto the front + back of the phone, I just can't keep using the case (the feeling of the phone in my hand is too damn nice).
I've been trying to find a good leather sleeve for my phone, and I've found a few of them below:
(Can't post links because of post limit)
- Etzy Leather Case from JACCET
- Senacases Heritage Ultraslim
I was wondering before I make a purchase (learning towards the senacases one), if anyone has had experience with leather sleeves with their phones before and can recommend a brand/make.
Just looking for a slim leather sleeve with no tags of any kind (branding tags to the sides or magnetic clips at the top).

I have used these pouches from iGadgitz for a number of years on my S3. I also purchased the Neo Hybrid (I like it a lot) as well as the iGadgitz from Amazon. It's a bit tough to get the phone in/out at first but it will stretch out a bit until it's a good fit. The little tag (which basically loops under the phone) makes it very easy to get out.
I find the S6 way too slippery, so more than likely I'll be returing the pouch.

Thanks for that mate, but I was looking for something without tags as I find they catch onto the inside of my pocket too much and ruin the aesthetics.

You can try any sleeve that worked for the gs5. The dimensions are super close, and you won't notice much of a gap. I purchased this Amazon Snugg Pouch and it works well. Not too snug, not too loose. Good protection. It's not the best quality, but for 10 bucks, I can't complain.

I have a good option for ya
You can choose Beyza Case. It is a very high quality product and a bit cheaper than Sena case. However, it is shipped from Turkey (takes a week to arrive in US)

Pouches

Here I am, in total confusion. Should I buy a pouch or case?
Here's what I feel, think and want:
I like a pouch, because the phone inside is pure. I can take it out and I'll be holding the phone in its slimmest form (read: original form). On the other hand, I have used pouches before with my LG Optimus 2X and the cover got these marks where it always slid over the pouch (basicly, cover was screwed).
That said, it's pretty clear. I like to hold the S5 like I got it from the box. On the other hand I would like it to have some protection.
I feel that a flip case (from Samsung) might suit me the best, because it's pretty thin and covers the screen as well.
But, somehow I think that this flip case might be a bit unhandy sometimes (taking pictures, holding it to type, sturdy?).
What I'm asking: does anyone have experience with large smartphones and pouches?
Here's some links:
S5 Flip wallet
Krusell Pouch 1
Krusell Pouch 2
(also, if you know some other pouches - perhaps tailored for the S5 - do tell!)
I am looking for a pouch as well..using the one for I got for the S3 but for obvious reasons, it doesnt close the top portion unless if i force the velcro to reach, lol.
I'm also looking for a pouch for my S5. I've purchased a couple off of ebay. They are always too big. Has anyone found one that they could recommend that fits a naked S5? Not one that can also fit a Note. This is a big phone already and I don't want to have an even bigger pouch on my belt.
I'm not in the practice to carry a purse around. I carry a pouch on my belt. I use it to carry my phone, nothing else. I have a wallet in my back pocket for cards and such. I like the look and feel of the phone itself. I don't want to cover my well designed phone with a cheap case or even and expensive one. I'm looking for a pouch that fits the s5 cleanly and naked. All I've seen so far are ones that fit it with a case on it or they are universal and big enough to also fit a note. The note is a class bigger than I need.

I don't know exactly what you are looking for but I just received this pouch and my naked S5 fits in it perfectly with no room to spare. You may have tried one like this already. Once clipped onto your belt the case can be rotated 360 degrees through eight different, fairly firm positions 45 degrees apart. If you don't want the rotation capability you could easily glue it in the position you want. The flap is held in place magnetically.

Those are the specs I am looking for. But I'm also wanting a horizontal pouch. I also need a very good clip. I usually get one that has the the extra belt loops on each side of the clip. I work on a ladder all the time and usually have other things on my belt also. I've had lesser clips work their way off while up there and phones don't do well from a drop that far up.

Verizon Case Gameplan

So my plan was to get the slimmest case I could for Verizon note 4. On my note 3 I had the incipio feather case (loved it-although little protection).
Got my note 4 and no readily available cases. Went naked for a week. Ordered the spigen thin fit (incipio feather not available?).
Got it (no mic hole issues as it is open on bottom). It is a bit slippery but is exactly like feather case. Very very annoying how ever-increasing does squeak when put pressure on sides - clearly mold only 95% accurate...
Now this is the slimmest case out there.... And I am so missing carrying this phone naked. The Samsung back feels so grippy and nice. Amazing how even this thin case adds noticeable bulk.
Starting to get contaminated with "this thin fit case doesn't protect much anyway.....
This phone naked is the bomb. Anyone routinely not case phone and have success.? I saw someone yesterday with note 3 looked like a banged up car on sides. Slapped the spigen back on. Hahaha
As an aside, waiting for the official Samsung protective cover - may be a good solution. But, sold out on Samsung site..... Anyone have this one? No video reviews that I can find.
For the squeaking, just put strips of masking or electrical tape on both sides of the inside of the case. Silly that you have to do anything, but this is a solution.

Several sleeve reviews with pics

Hey all, thought I'd post a few quick reviews of some sleeves I ordered from Amazon. I've always preferred to keep my devices naked in hand, but protected in my pocket.
First up is the Rustic Leather iPhone 6 Plus Sleeve Handmade by Hide & Drink :: Guatemalan Cacao - $9.99 at time of review
Pros:
Cheap
Excellent Quality
Great Protection
Very Attractive
Can Charge Phone While In Case
Cons:
Adds A Slight Amount Of Width
I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this case when I opened the package. For $10, this sleeve is an absolute no brainer. Honestly, I'd consider it a bargain at two to three times the price. I'm pretty sure I paid $50 for a similar iPod Touch case from Saddleback Leather a few years ago. This product is very comparable, but uses a thinner piece of leather. The Saddleback case was very rigid, which was good and bad. Good in that it was very protective, bad in that it was very bulky in the pocket. I'd actually say this case is a better product because of the thinner leather. It's certainly not skimpy by any means, and I think it's a better compromise of protection vs bulk.
As you can see from the product name, it was designed for the iPhone 6 Plus, but as you can also see from the pics, it's a perfect fit for the Nexus 6p. Very tight to slide the phone in, but fairly easy to remove because of the cutout at the bottom.

Next up is the xhorizon TM Dark Elastic Neoprene Absorbing Pouch Case Cover ZY for 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus - $6.49 at time of review
Pros:
Super Cheap
Decent Protection
Keeps Screen Clean
Slim In The Pocket
Cons:
Less Protective
There's not a whole lot to say about this simple Neoprene case, other than that it does its job well. The Nexus 6p fits perfectly inside and remains fairly snug, requiring a bit of a tug to remove. Nothing significant really, but you don't have to worry about your phone just falling out of this case. As you can see in the pics, the back of the case is slightly taller than the front, which offers a bit of added protection for the top of the phone.
Another nice feature of this case is that the Neoprene does a great job of cleaning the screen as you slide the phone in and out of the case. This became especially apparently when I switched from this case to the leather case above. All of a sudden my screen seems peppered with little dots of lint that I hadn't noticed before.
Protection from this case will be mostly limited to scratches and scuffs from the detritus in your pocket. It may help pad the device in the event of a short fall, but I certainly wouldn't depend on it. For my purposes, though, I find it to be a great case.

Third is the Synthetic Leather iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus Sleeve - Slightly Padded Microfiber Lined Executive Professional Synthetic Leather Case by Dockem (Dark Brown) - $9.99 at time of review
Pros:
Slim
Cons:
Unattractive
Creased
This was the first sleeve I ordered for my Nexus 6p and based on the 4.7 out of 5 star average Amazon review (out of 29 reviews!), I had fairly high expectations. This was probably one of the most disappointing items I've received in more than a decade of shopping at Amazon. As you can see in the last pic, it's a very flimsy, thin sleeve. The one I received has a very ugly crease through the middle of it, which was not caused by shipping as it was in a box laying flat with one other item and several inflatable pockets of cushioning.
The Nexus 6p does fit in the case, but it's a pretty tight fit. It's a little more difficult to extract the phone than I expected, but it is manageable with the slot cut out of the top. Not sure what else to say really, I hate this one.
Definitely Not Recommended

Last is the SOSAM 2Xpack Microfiber Sleeve Pouch Cover CasePouch For iphone 5 5S /iphone 6 6plus , Samsung HTC ONE / Blackberry Z10 Mini Wallet Purse Hand Bag Cloth Coin Cell Phone Bag Mobile Pouch (Black) - $8.00 at time of review
Pros:
Dirt Cheap
External Pocket
You Get Two?
Cons:
Major Lint Collector
Weird Clasp
You Get Two
At least with this case, I wasn't expecting much. With an effective cost of $4 each, how good can they be? Well, let's just put it this way, I want my $8 back. I have two dogs, and as soon as I opened this package, dog hair was immediately sucked from throughout my house to the felt of this pouch. You'd have thought these things were made by Dyson! On the positive side, the Nexus 6p fits fairly well into this case with a bit of extra room on the sides. The top is another matter though, the device protrudes a few millimeters from the top edge of the pouch. The unwieldy closure is a pain to use and despite the manufacturer's description of a drawstring closure, neither of mine function in that manner. You have to feed the longer string (with the bead) through the shorter string which catches on the bead to keep the pouch closed. Not very innovative and not really that functional.
About the only positive thing I have to say about this case is that it sports an external slot/pocket where you could store a pair of earbuds or a few bucks. Don't waste your money.
Absolutely NOT Recommended

I'm still waiting for my fitBAG Beat White custom tailored sleeve for Huawei Nexus 6P. Fine nappa leather pouch with integrated microfibre lining for display cleaning to arrive from Germany. I'll update this post when I receive it.
Do you think the phone would fit in any of these if it has a slim case on it?
Only the Sosam, which I really wouldn't recommend.

That's too bad. I would love to find one that can handle a slim case. I need it to put my phone in when I stick it in my backpack prior to going through airport security.
Thanks for these reviews - VERY helpful!

Question What do people think of the Samsung official cases

I have the clear with stand, leather and the PVC case. All three aren't great in my view.
The clear with stand has scratched far too easily, the leather scores too easily and the PVC is a lint magnet, which makes it unpleasant to use. Anyone else have different experiences?
I got the elago hybrid, and Spigen liquid air too. Both considerably less expensive. Zero issues.

I have the OEM leather case. Looks nice, but, I used it for about 5 minutes, it makes an already large phone a real handful.
I'm using an ultra thin carbon fiber case:
Super Slim Case for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 6.8", Real Aramid Fiber Protective Cover Skin/Wireless Charging Friendly https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PRV3Q3...t_i_7M7WCKXKNVSTHFRN2DJQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
While it doesn't provide as much drop protection as most cases, it provides good protection from everyday wear & tear/scratching.
Overpriced and quality-wise not so good I would say.
i just go on aliexpress and buy multiple cases at <$5. all the ones on amazon are just marked up cases that ali express sells anyway
I've fallen in love with the strap case.
I use the original leather case after i tried the original sillicon case. The sillicon was to sticky hard to get it in the pocket and out
I love the original leather case because it has single holes for every camera it looks much cleaner that way also the feel of the leather. I dont worry about scratchmarks they tend to go away after a few days because its leather you have to use it for a while to get it resistant with your hand oils and fats till it looks good you can also balm it with leather balm
I understand people who dont like the nature of leather but you have to know it will change its appearance with time and you have to care for it
When i know it will be a dirty day, gardening working on the car doing craftswork i just slip on the sillikon case
I have the leather case now 3 weeks and it looks greater then as it was new
Been using their silicone case since the Note 9. Have the one with strap for my Ultra and can't go to any other case. Quality is superb and the grip is very nice.
I bought the Samsung Rugged case when I got my Note9. I used it until I traded-in the Note9 for the S22 Ultra. I never had any problems with it and my Note9 looks brand new. Unfortunately, the new cases from Samsung are poor quality by comparison, so I went with a different brand.
I bought both Smart View Flip and Samsung's silicone cases for my S22 Ultra, like them both! Very good. I currently use the smart view flip case and thought I would get annoyed opening and closing the front cover but ultimately, I ended up liking it more than the open covers.
I just wish they used the nice silicon material like on their silicon case version which feels much nicer than the material used on the smart flip view case.

Question 2 Words for Spigen

When I've bought the Z Flip 3 I've bought the Spigens Tough Armour too since I've always used it on almost all my phone's. It the last days, the case had few problems due the fact that I always take it away when I'm home and put it on only when I am at work so, the bottom side of the cover kept slipping off the phone and this was pretty annoying.
I've contacted Spigen on their website and send them a video of what was going on.
Long story short, in the next few days a free-of-charge Thin Fit cover arrived home with an extra pack of adesive stripes inside for the Tough Armour.
Customer Service Level: Over 9000
Oh, it wasn't the two words that I was thinking of then
How are you finding the Spigen Thin Fit?
I also got a Tough Armor, but I find it's just a bit too bulky - the main reason I got the Flip 3 was that it fits easily in my trouser pockets. I then got the Samsung silicone case - which I really like, but I find that the (super useful) ring gets in the way on my car's wireless charging cradle.
I was going to get a Spigen Thin Fit, but I read a lot of reviews which said that it makes the fingerprint reader hard to use, so instead I've just ordered a Samsung Aramid cover, which gets mostly good reviews. Hope I've made the right choice.
(As an aside, why are cases for the Z Flip 3 so expensive? I usually spent under £10 a case for my previous phones, but for the Flip 3 they are £30+).

If you want a thin fit case, try the Ringke one. I got that after reading all the reviews about the Spigen thin case.
The RIngke doe sits job well. Don't get the transparent one, because the flash reflects through it. The standard matte black is fine.
On the pricing side, it's probably because they are 2 pieces, and not a standard shape...

Thanks for the suggestion. I've just ordered one from Amazon - both the Ringke and the Samsung Aramid are on "free returns", so I'll see which I prefer and send the other one back.
I got this one, extremely satisfait with it.
