Hi, Can anyone please help me find a way to root my old samsung galaxy s2 skyrocket ATT. The charging port on it doesn't work and therefore Im unable to connect it to a PC or anything else. Is there any possible way to root it without a pc??? It's my old phone and accidently deleted some important stuff and i desperately need to root it recover them please help!!

but if u need something from phone isnt it on the sdcards, if it is u can get ur files

I'm new to this, but my question is how to I return my phone to stock, I had someone root and add a rom to it and now I have lost my lte radio..but this person tells me all is fine and that I'm completely stock and just rooted, this may be true but the phone hardly works now..

but when I check my phone know it says its a samsung sgh-i317 now instead of sgh-i317m, this have made me believe that the phone maybe was rooted with n7100 firmware.
all I want is the phone to be completely stock as if I have just pulled it out of the box
I dont want it rooted or any sort of rom, I need all stock files because I have no backup of any sort also from what I can tell I may need samsung drivers and Odin I have no idea which I need or where to acquire the correct files...

can anyone please tell me how to root my sch-1535 every where says to download three files I can't find them anywere I am computer iliterate (dumb ass) can anyone help my phone says I don't have enough memory I just installed a 64g card so I know I have enough memory now I find out I need to root my phone PLEASE HELP Thanks EJ

If you want to flash a custom ROM/kernel/recovery afterwards you need to make sure your bootloader is unlocked.
Can anyone help me. I have a new Galaxy S4 that I want to root. I have an S2 that I managed to root successfully, but here is my problem, I cannot seem to find a way to connect my Mac to my phone as a USB device. I can therefore not flash or root. Is there another way

I am a newbie. I bought S duos 7562 1 month back, I rooted my device using unlock root pro as rooting through odin was not helping.
Even after trying umpteen no. of times, unable to install CWM recovery through odin.
Cannot rename file install-recovery.sh either as it is showing failed(in ES explorer)
Is the problem is due to the baseband curently i m in.
please help, phone is very sluggish, want to install CWM for trying custom roms.

Hello everyone new and I just really found out about xda and have a major problem ok I have us cellular sch r530u s3 and I rooted then I unrooted to get kitkat update...so once I unrooted I lost root but rooted Alps that I use are still usable like root explorer and adaway and when I try to get ota it says sorry device modified so I went and got root checker and it says device doesnt have root access..so I went and got odin 3.07 and flashed some kind of recovery called cf autoroot d2usc schr530u tar well anyway now I cannot boot into any recovery and when I try to the samsung logo comes up but it turns red then screen fades to black and nothing happens....so as of right now I am begging for help to unroot fully and restore stock recovery and be able to ota kitkat...also I've been trying to find the firmware official for this model and no luck I dont know what is wrong but im so stressed trying to figure it out...someone please help!!!
