I am a newbie. I bought S duos 7562 1 month back, I rooted my device using unlock root pro as rooting through odin was not helping.
Even after trying umpteen no. of times, unable to install CWM recovery through odin.
Cannot rename file install-recovery.sh either as it is showing failed(in ES explorer)
Is the problem is due to the baseband curently i m in.
please help, phone is very sluggish, want to install CWM for trying custom roms.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace SCH i619. I bought it in China, where I live, from China Telecom. I wanted to root it and install a new ROM on it after I read about it and decided it would be nice. I was finally able to root it after a lot of time and effort, but I cannot get a ROM installed. I cannot flash anything to my phone and I am not sure why. I cannot get CWM to flash in any way (I've used Odin as well) and so cannot get a ROM installed. Is it that my phone just will not be able to do this, or does anyone have any ideas about what to do?

Hello everyone new and I just really found out about xda and have a major problem ok I have us cellular sch r530u s3 and I rooted then I unrooted to get kitkat update...so once I unrooted I lost root but rooted Alps that I use are still usable like root explorer and adaway and when I try to get ota it says sorry device modified so I went and got root checker and it says device doesnt have root access..so I went and got odin 3.07 and flashed some kind of recovery called cf autoroot d2usc schr530u tar well anyway now I cannot boot into any recovery and when I try to the samsung logo comes up but it turns red then screen fades to black and nothing happens....so as of right now I am begging for help to unroot fully and restore stock recovery and be able to ota kitkat...also I've been trying to find the firmware official for this model and no luck I dont know what is wrong but im so stressed trying to figure it out...someone please help!!! Hi, Can anyone please help me find a way to root my old samsung galaxy s2 skyrocket ATT. The charging port on it doesn't work and therefore Im unable to connect it to a PC or anything else. Is there any possible way to root it without a pc??? It's my old phone and accidently deleted some important stuff and i desperately need to root it recover them please help!!

but if u need something from phone isnt it on the sdcards, if it is u can get ur files
I'm looking for help rooting my galaxy s5 SG-M900W8 running 5.1.1, I ran cf auto root with Odin it flashed an said passed, when I unplug ed the phone it was in a boot loop, I put it into recovery mode it was still saying I had no root access an that it was the original recovery, I flashed the original rogers room to get out of the bootloop as a factory reset didn't help, is there a way to root my modle on andriod 5.1.1 kingroot dose not support nor dose kingo app, I heard for the s6 running 5.1.1 you need to flash a custom kernal before rooting it this true? Can someone point my to the right place plz! This isn't my first time rooting but my first time with issues!

Hi Guys.
I recently installed CyanogenMod 13 on Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300. The Root access was lost and I tried to root it again.
It fails every time I try to root it. I've tried every app that roots the phone.
It's Android 6.0.1. Just in case.
Pls help.
