I'm looking for help rooting my galaxy s5 SG-M900W8 running 5.1.1, I ran cf auto root with Odin it flashed an said passed, when I unplug ed the phone it was in a boot loop, I put it into recovery mode it was still saying I had no root access an that it was the original recovery, I flashed the original rogers room to get out of the bootloop as a factory reset didn't help, is there a way to root my modle on andriod 5.1.1 kingroot dose not support nor dose kingo app, I heard for the s6 running 5.1.1 you need to flash a custom kernal before rooting it this true? Can someone point my to the right place plz! This isn't my first time rooting but my first time with issues!

hello i have a sprint gs3 with the new 4.4.2 kitkat update and it is causing everything to force close. i am trying to root the phone and get a custom rom. i tried installing twrp using odin and it tells me it is invalid but i have a cwm recovery lte sprint gs3 v5 tar and it says it is valid i really want the twrp tho this is my first time rooting and dont want to mess anything up. i notice in the download screen it says my bootloader is enable is that going to be a problem and is rooting going to trip the knox? and how can i get knox off my phone?

Hi! It seems you're in a sticky situation with the GS3, 4.4.2, root and Knox.

Hello everyone new and I just really found out about xda and have a major problem ok I have us cellular sch r530u s3 and I rooted then I unrooted to get kitkat update...so once I unrooted I lost root but rooted Alps that I use are still usable like root explorer and adaway and when I try to get ota it says sorry device modified so I went and got root checker and it says device doesnt have root access..so I went and got odin 3.07 and flashed some kind of recovery called cf autoroot d2usc schr530u tar well anyway now I cannot boot into any recovery and when I try to the samsung logo comes up but it turns red then screen fades to black and nothing happens....so as of right now I am begging for help to unroot fully and restore stock recovery and be able to ota kitkat...also I've been trying to find the firmware official for this model and no luck I dont know what is wrong but im so stressed trying to figure it out...someone please help!!! Greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks!!!!
Okay, so apparently I screwed up greatly last night. I was trying to flash Android L 5.0.2 on my phone and after trying to flash it onto my device (using Safestrap) it did not work for some apparently reason (no md5) ,but before, I check summed the files if the codes matched and it did. So, I tried to restore and it failed and I accidentally pressed reboot and now I can't access Safestrap and stuck in a loop of the stock recovery mode.
It was running Kitkat 4.4.4
Safestrap 3.72
Phone: Rooted

I'm on a droid ultra 4.4.4 ota with a locked bootloader. I recently got root with kingroot ive been able to get root acess before and still do but for some reason whenever I restart my phone or turn it off and back on I lose root acess and have to use the app kingroot again. Ony Samsung Galaxy s3 I have root acess and don't lose it but recently that got hard bricked what I need though is the figure out if maybe it isn't installing root in the right place or why I lose it on start up if anyone can help me out with that I will be in your debt.

So i think i have completely ****ed up, hopefully you guys can give me some insight
I was on the process of properly rooting a samsung s7 that i got since the root checker said that it was not properly root.
i decide to fallow this guide

But i after flashing the ENG using Odin
the phone just keep restarting, over and over, it also does the samething in recovery mode.
Notes:
The phone was displaying Custom unlock login screen (Before Flash)
Also it was 6.0.1 update
and I got the the 7.0 update, to flash the ENG
If there is anything you guys can advice, ill appreciate.
If it can go in downloading mode you can flash stock firmware and try rooting again.
