Found that I did not see the data in applications (Walkman, Album, Videos etc), but the files are not deleted. I cleared the Media Storage, rebooted the device, but the problem is not disappeared. What I should to do? But I do not want to clean all data
Stock odex ROM, Rooted, CWM installed
Have you tried updating the apps? If updated and still not working, then simply downgrade to factory apps. Thanks!
Deodex your device using the guide on the following Website:
http://www.informationlord.com/easy-guide-to-deodex-xperia-c-build-16-0-b-2-16/
Your problem will be solved. The file that you will flash contains all the stock software, so will get them back.

greetings,
I have a new GTablet, started with Tap UI version 1.0-2763. email began stopping, so installed clockworkMod Recovery, did backup, installed update.zip, which turned out to be Tap UI v 1.1-3588. email and more stops, so no help. Also, new problem -- even though System Storage sees \sdcard2, the photo, music and video apps don't see the card. So:
1. how can system be cleaned up to prevent app stopping?
2. how to get the apps to include \sdcard2? (Answer: do a Factory Data Reset)
Thank you
If u try titanium backup and clear the data app by app that worked for me
Hello All,
yesterday i installed Android Revolution HD 6.5.2 on my Sensation.
Overall, it was going well, except for the music player that was always force closed everytime i tried to play music.
My bad, i accidentally uninstalled the Music App from my phone. I tried to restore that, but i can't figure out how to do it.
Then i tried re-Flashing the ROM. Before reFlashing, i backed up all data on my phone using ClockworkMod. After i flashed the ROM, the music app returned. After that, i restored my phone using backup file i created in CWM before.
After Restoration complete, i cant find the music app just like when i deleted it.
I guess CWM backed up all the data and my phone's state including all the Apps and Sense UI.
Anyone can help me restore my music app?
thanks
A Clockwork mod backup totally backs up a rom, bit for bit. If you restore a CWM backup, you will lose any currently installed rom setup. Just take the Sense Music apk out of a rom.zip and drop it in /system/app using Root Explorer. Then reboot and you're probably set. Make sure you set the app's permissions to RW R R or it won't work (all doable in Root Explorer).
i have pulled two files from Rom.Zip :
com.htc.musicwidget.apk
htcmusicenhancer.apk
and put them in /system/app folder.
I Also set the permission too and then restarted my phone.
But i still cant find music app, did i miss another file?
My phone is rooted
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9
Firmware version: 2.2.1
Build #: Froyo.VUVKD1
I deleted my media storage 2.2.1 stock. I was trying to clear up space and seeing what bloat ware I could keep and couldn't keep. I have titanium backup and when I deleted the media storage from there my phone started to force closing anything with sound ( text, ringtones, etc..). When that happened I tried to reinstall it with the back up but it got stuck in a loop. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling other apps to see if that was the only one with a problem and it seems to be the only one that will not install. I did a factory data reset but that didn't work but now I can't download any apps so I went online through the phone internet and downloaded the titanium backup apk and was able to use it but the back up for the media storage still doesn't work.
What I want to know if there is still a way restore the file that i haven't tried yet. Also i'm still kind of new at going through phone files so please try to give me info. in simple terms. Thanks in advance.

Hi folks,
I fear i lost some of my data forever. Is there any way to get it back?
I recently updated my falcon device from CM13 to CM14.1 via the CM updater by accident, and it broke several of the phone's functionalities. Then I tried to revert back to CM13 (latest snapshot), and made the mistake of dirty flashing over CM14.1. Naturally, some base features like telephone were not working because of my dumbness, and panicking that I'll lose my data I dirty flashed again, back to 14.1, then came the idea to take a nandroid backup. Problem is, settings weren't accessible anymore. So i did a factory reset, clean flashed back to CM13 snapshot, then tried to restore my apps through NANDROID Manager app from google play. The apps were restored fine, but when I restored the app data as well, every app FC'd forever. Clean flashed 14.1, tried the same process, with the same results. Data restored, FC. Now I'm stuck here, afraid of having lost all my data due to my foolishness...
Is there any way to recover it?
Thanks in advance.
Copy the backup folder to your PC, inside there should be some files with .tar.a extension. Rename them to just .tar and then open the files using 7zip. All the files of your phone are there (system files, app files, photos, porn, etc.), just search and extact what you need.
Good luck.
