{Q} Sound Control Button - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After upgrading my OnePlus to Cyanogen OS 12.0-YNG1TAS17L I lost the sound control (Vibration / Sound / Silent) in this screen. Please help me how to add it?

That's the way it is now. Unless you can find an Xposed module to achieve what you want, but you can't change it in settings.

[Completed] [Q] How to fix audio loudness

My phone has an audio error where it is either on maximum loudness or off. I don't have OTA updates anymore so I have to fix this myself.
I did copy the system partition to my linux machine, as I believe it is just a bad driver or something.
I can set the volume control to 1 or 10, but the ringer volume always stays the same.
How can I fix this?
Yeah I had, but did a factory reset after I copied everything off my device. I thought unrooting might restore my ability to do OTA but that didnt work.
I can easily get root again. Playing media responds correctly to the volume control, only the ringer that is bugged,
Hi there,
Please give us more details about your device/firmware.
Thanks

Stock 5.0 and Viper4Android

Hey guys.
I have been avoiding stock ROM primarily because of the fact that I couldn't use V4A on it.
I would install V4A(after disabling JBL or not,no difference at all),and I would lose audio and the floating audio control window which would appear whenever I would click the volume buttons wouldn't show at all(I tried changing the volume levels from Settings too,but it did nothing)
So,if anyone has V4A fully working on stock 5.0,can he/she be so kind and share the procedure they followed when they were installing V4A?

I followed this guide and works great.
I didn't do the build.prop part.

I mean from headphones
That is for headphones. That sound mod is included in the BatMan ROM and increases media playback volume system wide.
You will need to download a version of the mod that includes the dual speaker mod, but not the volume mods.

Android 10 headphone volume even lower than pie? any suggestions?

So before updating I had a couple of sound mods because the stock volume is way too low for me. But after the update I did a wipe ofc and now I can bearly hear my music. I installed the volume booster magisk and viper4android but there is no difference. The only thing that I did before different was editing a file in /system/etc. Something like volume limiter. It was at 80 something and I changed it to 99. But after the update that file doesn't exist in Android 10 apperently. I'm rooted and I know my way around modding and stuff. Is there any way to boost my audio volume? I'm talking about Bluetooth headphones btw...
Look in theme /mod... Thread for stereo speaker volume boost mod

Am I doing something wrong? What settings do you use?
I had the same problem. Pie was crappy. Q is horrible for Bluetooth volume.
I fixed Pie by installing Viper, but I cant get Viper to install its driver in Q.
This might be why Viper doesnt work for you, either. It isnt installing its driver.
I did find a way to increase the gain in Q though.
1. With your headset connected, press Vol + or - to get the pop out menu.
2. Press the little EQ icon under the volume menu.
3. Press the gear icon for the "Sound and Vibration" settings menu
4. In that menu, press Dolby Atmos.
5. Near the bottom look for "Style preference" under the Earphone adjustment section
6. This will bring up an Equalizer.
7. Turn up the gain !!!

Viper drivers need to be installed twice on 10. I'm using xXx rom to get dolby digital plus.

I installed this as well but other than downgrading my viper4android version it didn't do much... In mastergate I put the output to Max but it's still so quiet. I find it embarrassing how a jailbroken iPhone can do this is 2 seconds but with an rooted Android it's impossible?. Where is this Dolby plus? I just have the normal settings.

Check if sound is processing by pressing icon next to settings icon. If not, go to settings/apps and clear viper storage and set up again. Dolby plus is part of a custom rom. Try getting viper to process sound first.

So is there any solution to this? I also noticed that my bluetooth volume is way more silent now, even if I go up with the volume.

Control media volume with wireless headphone buttons

Hello xda community! Is it possible to control the media volume of the device with bluetooth headphone buttons? I know that when I change the volume while having a call, the buttons changes the volume in the device not themselves. But when listening to music or watching a video the buttons change the headset volume, not the phones media... Something like media volume sync on samsung. I'm using oneplus 7 pro (stock android 10) and Sony MDR-XB650BT. Anything to change in developer options? A magisk or xposed module? Anything else? I can't find anything on the web, please help... ??
