I messed up my Galaxy s3 GT I9300 without making an EFS backup and I am kinda screwed now.
After posting on this forum I have been told I needed EFS reprograming through a box, which I could get in a GSM shop.
Problem is, I am a french guy living in Tokyo and despite several hours spent wandering in Akihabara I couldn't find any one to help me with this.
So here is my desperate call for help, Would anyone know a GSM shop providing such a service in Tokyo ?

hello, i have a problem with my mother´s smathphone, i a samsung galaxy core i8260 and my problem is the next:
the problem is that low gave the IMEI in the company because my mother lost the smarthphone, and six months after it has appeared in the beach house and now I can not use.
I called orange which is the company with which kick that smarthphone but they told me they could not help because it was not in that company because I switch to movistar, now the cell can not be used and it is a shame because it is new, only was in operation one month. someone can tell me how to change the imei by phone that no other use for a long time already?

Forget about changing the IMEI number.
Why? That is possible in other samsung galaxy but in this model the soc is not exinos, is qualcom, this is my problem

hey guys ..been waiting for so long to have my galaxy s5 .. was very happy and i received it today! unfortunately my brother hasn't used a UK based sim to break the region block and now its asking for a 'sim network unblock pin' .. searched everywhere for a solution and even searched a reliable place to buy. nothing so far? any of you good people got a solution yet? please share .. or a recommend a scam free site to buy the region code .. many thanks

Just remember if you buy from another country and the phone has warranty issues it gets complicated because you have to return it to place of origin. This is okay if you live near retailer of course.
Just remember the Note 7 saga. You couldn't even post the phone back.
I had an issue with a s7edge duos from dubai. It arrived with an issue, to have it looked at u have to send back to dubai at ur expense. Problem is if the service centre cant reproduce the problem, they just re-flash the software and send back. After a lot of digging around i read reports of people with similar problem had it resolved by a mother board (pba) swap. This costs £220 to get done in UK. Or costs £120 in shipping to Dubai and a lot of hassle trying to convince service centre to swap the board.
I really like duos but the headache of the warranty/support is too much.
however, if you get a problem free unit then it is just great ?

Hello got this phone as a present from a relative in the US, myself lives in Sweden.
Problem is that the phone hasnt any Swedish launguage, & 3 of 4 operators work the last one (Telia) wont work why i dont know.
Tried different sim cards from same operator doesnt work but alla other operators do, and im using that operator that isnt working =(.
So i started reading about ROM & flash etc thought maybe if i could flash it these two problems gets solved. Get Swedish aunguage in it and get rid of that operator problem.
But when im searching for any firmware that is compatible with my model cant find one for Scandinavia or Sweden.
Now im not an expert in these things tbh i suck and found out this forum & hoping for some help from you guys.
Would appreciate it thnx in advance.
