[Q] How to stream an webradio station to a DLNA certified TV using an android device - XDA Assist

I'm for almost a year trying to stream my webradio for my LG Smart TV DLNA certified using my xperia Z3 , and the closest I got was hearing the webradio on my Android device but it seems impossible to transmit it to my TV via DLNA . Is there any way to solve this situation? Am I doing something wrong?

[Q] Streaming television to android device via WiFi?

Would it be possible to stream my satellite television signal to an android device? The outputs on the satellite decoder are just the normal A/V variety, and I would like to be able to stream the video and audio to an android device (probably an android mini PC most of the time, but also a tablet occasionally) over my home wifi? What sort of hardware would I need etc?

Stream (audio) from Smart TV to M8?

I'm curious to find out if it's possible to stream audio from my (networked) Sony Bravia KDL-32W650A to my M8. I'd like to be able to sync the audio so I can use headphones with the phone, so I don't disturb my wife and daughter while watching late at night. Using a direct headphone connection is out of the question, as I have a rather large K9 that likes to roam and trip over any wires running across the floor. Since I already have TV SideView and Smart Remote on my handset to control the TV, it would be nice to be able to stream the audio back to it.
Any suggestions?
On edit: It appears that this should be possible (mirroring) via Miracast, but appears that it may be broken in Sense 6.

What I know, you can send audio and video from android devices to TV, but not from TV to devices.

I'm aware of that, but I want to stream in the other direction (just audio). I know Koush was/is working on integrating this into his AllCast app, but I think it only works with FireTV.

Stream my audio from my galaxy s8+ in a similar way to HTC connect.

Was exclusively an HTC user for probably the last 10 years, but decided to change it up this year and went for the S8+ . HTC had came out with "HTC connect" which could connect to both airplay and dlna devices alike. It did it in a way where all of my phone's audio would play wirelessly through my receiver, sort of like a wireless aux cable, but at the same time including all of the benefits of Dlna.
What I'm ultimately trying to do is connect to my receiver and play music which my phone is streaming from services such as: YouTube, Spotify, Amazon music, etc. Whenever I connect to my receiver with my phone, it wants to only play files that are located in my phone, which is not what I want.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sony Xperia XZ tries randomly and unwanted to connect to Philips Smart-TV

Hi there,
I am using a Sony Xperia XZ to sometimes stream e.g. youtube to a Philips Smart-TV (55PUS6551). This works very well. The TV has a built-in cromecast.
But in the last week the phone messes with this functionality:
While browsing in firefox or streaming music via bluetooth to a radio, the phone connects to the TV and it will switch from HDMI to "cromecast-mode" (don't know better to describe). But I do not want to stream to TV, just want to browse.
Weeks before this was never a problem. It might have to do something with the latest updates I suppose.
As a workaround I terminated the background-prozess "screenmirroring" in the cache. But that process comes back again automatically.
How can I deactivate the screenmirroring/miracast from the Sony Xperia XZ to that Philips Smart-TV? Can I "untrust" that device? Or is there a fix for that problem or an app, where I can deactivate/activate screenmirroring/miracast?
Regards, Jens

Hi guys,
I have an old Samsung S7 and what i would like to do with it is to connect it to my sound system with aux cable and be able somehow to cast music on it with my current phone and/or laptop.
For example cast youtube, soundcloud, spotify
Is there any app that can emulate chromecast or any service that can do this?
Thanx in advance
i dont think there is any app that is able to do this at the moment
