Hi,
Is there a way to access the folder data/data/... where the apps are stored without rooting the device ?
And what if I root the device are my current apps gone ?
1.Put update.zip in your main directory in the SD card.
2.Turn off your phone.
3.Boot in Recovery by pressingOWER+VOLUME UP+HOME buttons.
4.In Recovery select Install zip from sd
5.Choose update.zip
6.Reboot your phone and it's ready. There must be a Superuser icon in your Apps menu
The reason I ask is I run the smurfs village and in the data/data/com.capcom.smurfsandroid/files there is a file default01.smurfmap that I want to copy no write just copy can this be done ?
I'm a android starter
Thanks
Heya! I've followed the install instructions in this thread;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997251
I got to step 5, "enter recovery, on boot led will be violet for 3'', during this period press vol+ ".
I wasn't quick enough on pressing the volume button so it started loading wich didnt do much good i noticed after a while. (stuck on loading)
Soo, i removed my battery to restart the phone, after wich i managed to enter recovery mode only to find myself not knowing how to execute #6, "flash rom zip".
I tried this aswell;
"1) enter recovery at first : after u switch on d phone, when the pink light comes, press up volume key to enter recovery
2) connect your phone to computer using usb cable
3) go to mounts and storage and mount /system and /data.....this will enable ADB in recovery mode
4) now put ur rom zip in the ADB folder of ur computer and start adb and type "adb devices" (without the quotes)
5) if it shows some sort of numbers, then the device is connected successfully
6) in adb. type "adb push /ROM.zip /sdcard" (without the quotes) (ROM.zip is the name of the rom)
7) then reboot recovery, go to flash zip and chose the rom zip and enjoy!"
I fail at #5, since it wont show any numbers. It wont find the device. Many hours of googling and trying different things the result is the same, and im stuck with a phone that wont boot to OS.
What do i do now? Any help appreciated! :victory:
In recovery mode,
Install zip form SD card > install zip from external SD card (if you have put the downloaded zip in your external SD card)
Oh you have to press volume up and down to highlight option, and power button to select it.
Hit Thanks if I helped you!

My options is as follows;
1. Choose zip from sdcard (i can only access the Tipo internal memory from here, not my removable SD)
2. Apply /sdcard/update.zip
3. Toggle signature verification
4. Back
I can't access my phone storage from my PC either, since the drives wont show. I've tried all drives and such that i've found, but nothing works.
Is there any way i can reverse what i have done (remove clockwork or such) to get my phone to boot again?
Or a way to access my memory, so i can add the zip to the internal storage?
Have i bricked my phone?
Thanks!
You have not bricked your phone. relax.
Well you have to select first option, then under that there should be another line saying 'select zip from external SD card ' or something like that (if I remember correctly) . If that does not work there is a workaround where you use push file via adb. I'm not too familiar with that but will pm you if I find out where I read it.
And now- to revert back,
Download the world fs ftf file found here (its rootable) -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2001567
Download flashtool latest (search) and install (fastboot and flash drivers in particular)
Place downloaded ftf file in c/flashtool /firmware
press flash and follow instructions.
Your on stock fw now. Remember to place zip in internal card if you are attempting cm10 again

Woo, somehow i managed to install the stuff! It wont send sound to my headphones though, other then that it's all good.
Thanks for taking your time!

Firmware Update Guide
Important
Please note that this update method should be used only for tablet recovery. All user data on the
tablet would be erased. For this operation you will need one empty microSD card not less than 2Gb and
card reader device with ONLY one card slot. Multifunctional card readers with more than one card
interfaces are NOT allowed.
1. Unpack archive content to the separate folder. You’ll get two folders –
“Firmware” and “PhoenixCard Tool”
2. Go to the “PhoenixCard Tool” folder and launch PhoenixCard( )
3. Choose right disk letter for the SD card, then press “Img File” button and
choose *.img file from the unpacked archive.
4. Click Burn button
5. After burn process would be finished remove card from the card reader
and plug it into the tablet.
6. Restart the tablet with card plugged. You will hear clicking sounds – it
means that update process started. Wait while progress bar becomes fully
green and clicking sounds disappeared.
7. Remove SD card and restart the tablet.
8. To make card fully usable please plug it into the card reader again, launch
PhoenixCard utility and press “Format to Normal” button.
1. First installed drivers for your Micromax model, Download root file from this link. (This is a password protected file, ask for password) and this is genuinely working.
2. Transfer the SuperSu.zip file in your phone’s SD card or internal SD Card.
3. Then open SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1352.01 and double click on flash_tool.exe
4. Select scatter file for your mobile phone, see picture for below information
5. Then select recovery (See below picture for info)
6. Now click download in SP flash tool, remove the battery from your phone and connect it to pc via USB Cable. A green circle/download ok will confirm flashing.
7. Now insert battery and press Volume UP+Down+Power ON, then press Volume UP to select recovery.
8. Tap on Install from SD Card/ Internal SD card and select SuperSu.zip file from file location and select “yes” for flash this file.
9. Reboot your Device, Done.
10. You can check there is a SuperSu icon in your App Drawer.
and the password is : "Micro106"
1. Open IMEI MAKER TOOL and follow the
instruction there.
2. Now open nvram and pest the new
generated file (MP0B_001_NEW RENAME
IN INTO MP0B_001) into IMEI
REPAIR.zip\data\nvram\md\NVRAM
\NVD_IMEI\ ------ here
save it.
3. Copy the file into your external SD
card and Internal Sd card also.
4. Now you must have a pre installed
recovery that you can used to flash
new nvram.zip or you can use
Jrecovery.
5. Go to your recovery by prassing
V-,V+ and power button.
6. You will see update from SD card
7. Select it and then find your
nvram.zip, select it and flash it
8. REBOOT your device.
9. that's it go to dial pad and press
*#06# you will see your IMEI number.
You dont need to ROOT youe MTK device.
