[Q] HTC J Butterfly 2 (HTL23), brick? build.prop - HTC Butterfly

Hi guys,
So my HTL23 is bricked. Hear my tale of woe:
I tried to install an official update, but it failed because my existing build.prop had been tweaked to allow the mobile data to work in UK. I thought I had pushed an official build.prop onto the phone (with the original build.prop renamed .bak for safety). Upon restarting the phone, I get the HTC boot screen, but then a black screen of death
The build.prop.bak has not copied onto my PC, but the good news is that it is still on the phone.
Question: how can I access my phone via PC, to extract the build.prop.bak and repush it as build.prop, or alternatively how can I push a stock build.prop onto the phone? Remember that when I turn the phone on I get HTC boot and then black screen. It's been a while so I can't remember if I can boot into recovery, phone is dead so I'm cyrrently charging...
Thanks!

UPDATE: I can boot into recovery

[Q] White screen with motorola logo?

I recently pushed some fonts into /system/fonts/ on my backflip, rooted, but I think I skipped a step, where I was suppose to mount it, and now it's just stuck in the white screen. It can go into recovery mode and I've hard resetted, but it doesn't work..
Also, when I connect it to the computer, in hopes of repushing the backups, it isn't detected. The computer detects it, but adb doesn't.
Thanks in advance.
PS: No backups or anything were made.

[Q] G1 stuck in bootloader screen HELP!

I was trying to root my G1 and it failed to download and flash the DREAIMG.nbh file
and now I'm stuck in the bootloader screen and I have tried everything to fix it but nothing seems to work. I even pulled out the battery and copied the old files that were in my phone, before I started to screw with it, to my sd card, through another phone, and put the sd card back in my G1, but nothing happened. Please someone help!

[Q] Uh oh. Tried New ROM but...

I have rooted my Xperia Arc S. Used Titanium Backup do remove bloatware. Added ClockworkMod recovery. Started phone in recovery mode and attempted to run the .zip file on my SD card for the CyanogenMod ROM. My phone went to reboot in this new ROM, but it shows the SONY logo on my screen, and it doesn't do anything more. It is just stuck on that. I took out the battery and put it back in, but I get the same thing. The SONY logo only.
Any suggestions? Did I just fry my phone?
Thanks\

[Q] Is my HTC Sensation XL Bricked? help please!

Okay so earlier today i rooted my phone, i unlocked the bootloader and installed SuperSU, also used Win-Team recovery.img, and everything was fine, i wanted to see what else i could do now that i had root, so i came across something called ROM's, i searched for a ROM that would go with my phone and downloaded it on my pc, i moved the zip file onto my sd/memory on my phone, then opened win-team on my phone, and flashed the ROM zip, (stupidly i didn't know i had to back up the original ROM) So now whenever i turn on my phone i get stuck at the "Quietly Brilliant", and it vibrates numerous times, and when i hold my volume button and the power button to get into the menu, i cant enter factory reset, or the recovery, so its basically unusable. Please help me i have a lot of important stuff on my phone and i really don't want to lose it! thank you

My phone goes completely black after I change my bootanimation

Please help me
After I rooted my phone I tried to change my boot animation so I downloaded the root browser and then goes to /system/media
I renamed the old bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip1 and paste the bootanimation that i want
After that I rebooted my phone and then the screen goes completely black!
The phone is working....it charges, vibrates, etc i can even hear the notifications
i tried to restart my phone but nothing happened.
Please tell me how to fix this :crying::crying:
Try to revert the backup if possible... If you had USB debugging selected prior to this happening, you can use the adb shell on your computer and navigate to /system/media and revert the backup. Worst case scenario would be to flash stock firmware to the device.
